Beautiful lodge style facade with manicured curated garden.  Location is accessible to restaurants, gas station and road. Staff were accommodating, hard working and nice(receptionist was alone and multitasking). She was overwhelmed but still attentive, asked the right questions, provided us with what we need such us toiletries, towels and kitchenwares, dishwashing soap etc. Room has spacious layout. We liked the separate section for sink and toilet/ shower. Huge TV.  USB ports near bedside was a nice touch. Big kitchen area with alot of storage space with counter top. It has fridge, dishwasher, microwave & vent. We asked the staff for what we need(they don't have them in the room). Good lighting. Bed was comfortable. Sheets were soft and clean. They provided different kinds of pillow for our needs. Breakfast was great, wide variety of choices of hot & cold dishes. We appreciate the 24 hour coffee vending machine. Toiletries were free, just asked receptionist for more. Patio was really scenic with the full view of the river.

Outdated carpets in the room and hallway ( please BW, time to switch, it's so unsustainable, collects dust & dirt). We didn't sleep much because of the loud noises ( even with a headset or ambient music playing): ceiling to each side walls to the hallway, doors closing & opening, water faucet&pipes, dogs barking, it was horrible. We asked for a quiet corner but we ended up on the 1st floor with all pet owners and exit door. Ugh. We were assigned a different room( supposedly 2nd room with a balcony) instead we got 1st floor near an exit door. It would have made a huge different Outdated furnitures and improper placements.  The wardrobe closet needs oiling (it was loud). Bathroom faucet had very strong pressure, making it too loud.

We had a spacious room with kitchenette on the second floor with a balcony overlooking the Missouri River. Wonderful! The landscaping was beautiful with many beds and pots of beautiful, colorful flowers and sweeping green lawns. The breakfast was very adequate with lots of food, a good variety, all you could eat. The indoor pool was not heated and too chilly for our Texas blood, but the hot tub was nice. Great Falls is a small town, so all the attractions were an easy drive away.

The big blemish to our week was on our last day there, my passport was stolen. We had gone canoeing for the day, I took my passport out of my backpack and tucked it among my clothes in the dresser, and promptly forgot about it. It was after returning home I discovered it was missing, we called the hotel and housekeeping had not found it, so I had no choice but to report it as stolen. It's a shame that a nice hotel in a small friendly town ought to have safes in each room.

Friendliness of the staff, size of the room, the view from our balcony. We were on the 2nd floor and had a 1 year old, but our room was near the elevator and stairs, so it was convenient to use either. There was a little park within walking distance with prairie dogs. We were visiting from Texas, but this will be the place we stay the next time we come to stay in Montana.

There was nothing we didn't like

We really liked the location on the Missouri river. The facilities were nice and the view from our first room was lovely. It's an easy ride from the airport and the staff was very nice. We stayed there the first night of our trip and the last night before we departed. Easy breezy.

The riverfront suite was dark, particularly the room off the hallway. The room decor is dated and the air conditioning was weird because the thermostat was in one room and the unit in another (in the suite). In the regular room on the other side of the hall, the AC was just fine.

Definitely older property shows signs of wear in rooms. Use of dark brown in rooms makes it look depressing. Pillows are lumpy, bed too soft.

We liked the deck off the king size bedroom. It was very quiet. It had a kitchen which we didn’t use. We liked that there was a really great restaurant next door. The lady at the desk was very helpful they let us get our room earlier which was wonderful as we had a long bike ride that day. She also talked about the area and where to eat dinner. Loved the huckleberry cheesecake she recommended!

Being next to the river and walking path. The breakfast is the best! There are rooms for pets to come along, yay! A pool for the kids.

The chairs in the breakfast area are low riders and the cushions sink in so the table was at an uncomfortable height.

The hotel was very nice and the surrounding areas outside were looked after. We had a balcony with a view of the river with kitchenette.

The kitchenette does not have any kitchenwares you have to put in a request for everything you might need. Which is fine but why not just keep it stocked. The breakfast is ok with a pretty good selection .

The staff was fantastic. They went above and beyond at breakfast! Without asking they had gluten free bagels and muffins, almond milk, and even chex cereal! It's very rare but so important for those of us with allergy issues. Usually I have to bring my own bread and hope for at least Jif peanut and smuckers jelly! Thank you so much!

I liked the breakfast and the breakfast area.

They serve breakfast from 6 to 9. That isn’t conducive to vacation hours. In my opinion they should at least serve breakfast until 10. They have a rush at 9 o’clock. It’s not the way I’d like to start my day.
