I can’t speak highly enough. It was everything and more that you would expect in a good night stay away from home. So much charm and history well maintained and updated. Art throughout, even in the room. I was on the second level and it was perfect. Another guest ( who said they always booke a year in advance) informed us to request a window room next time.. good to know as I will stay with them again. The bar and restaurant.. dinner was top notch even though it was a burger I ordered, it was a soecial recipe I’d say. The breakfast included was pre- made and not factory. Excellent. They were there with lots of options and heating instructions. I don’t remember what they were called as it was new to me. Sure a hotel in a big city may be a different kind of glamorous but you can’t get this atmosphere just anywhere. The staff All ( including the owner who checked us in) were very friendly. We Felt very welcomed. Also the parking garage was all locked up and I felt safe.

This is such a charming and intelligently restored historic hotel! It is also an art gallery, with the owner’s art collection, but also many works by local artists displayed in the lobby and hallways. The adjacent Celtic Cowboy pub provides you with a complimentary breakfast that had precooked hearty options such as quiche and breakfast burritos, and all sorts of cold items as well. We had dinner there the night before, and the crab cake blt was really delicious! The Arvon was just marginally more expensive than the Comfort Inn, but so adorable and high quality, why would you stay anywhere else when passing through Great Falls?

What a find! We loved our stay at Historic Hotel Arvon and if I'd known that this hotel and the area of Great Falls was so interesting I would have stayed longer! This is a great stopover for anyone driving down to Bozeman (or other parts south) from Glacier, Jasper, Banff National Parks. When we checked in we were upgraded to a fabulous suite with full kitchen! That would be so useful for business travellers or families in the area for a few days. The Hotel is also an art gallery, the walls and lobby full of interesting paintings, sculptures and prints. We loved wandering the halls and admiring the art. The staff was amazing, parking was convenient in a lot across the street, and Great Falls boasts several excellent attractions, chief among them the CM Russell Museum and the Lewis&Clark Interpretative Center, both just brilliant examples of bringing history to life in an engaging, value-adding way. We also enjoyed the actual Falls. The hotel offers a nice cold buffet breakfast at the Irish Restaurant next door, which unfortunately was closed the night we arrived. So we went to the nearby Rib and Chophouse where we had a great meal.

Nothing comes to mind!

An older hotel with it's own charm well preserved despite the renovation. Maybe not spotless, but definitely not filthy either, so that's a big plus for sure. Not a given these days unfortunately. Helpful staff. Especially one of the bartenders (dark curly(?) hair) was great and really made one feel really welcome. Right in the town centre and close to the local nightlife, so quite conveniently located. I liked the Celtic Cowboy bar too. Good food and drinks. Breakfast was also surprisingly tasty for it being frozen food e.g. a breakfast burrito, that you have to heat up by yourself in a microwave. Couldn't really locate any juices though, just hot/cold water and coffee.

Pretty sure I booked a "superior" room through Booking, but was assigned one that seemed anything but, with only a tiny window and an entrance below the stairs. For one night I hardly mattered though, and I didn't bother asking if that's the right one, but would've been nice if they had an auto-upgrade policy for 1-night stays when the hotel is not full, which it surely wasn't. Absolutely terrible wifi. Totally unreliable and cutting off every other minute... Squeaky a/c fan.

Such a great place. Staff is friendly and helpful. Easy access to the adjoining bar/restaurant--Celtic Cowboy. Our suite was HUGE and the bed was super comfortable. Tons of TV channels to choose from. Downtown location is convenient to everything. Just a perfect stay!

Unfortunately, I was sick the whole time we were there but my husband was well taken of and had no problems getting out and about town. I stayed in my jammies in our very comfy bed and tried to get better for the next leg of our trip.

Unique restored historic hotel that has amazing character and even some artwork to take in and if wanted purchase in the hallways. Also the attached restaurant Celtic Cowboy offers a fun relaxing atmosphere with great service, huge draft beer list and good food! Once you check in and park in the extremely secure parking garage you can just walk across the lobby for dinner. Rooms were cute and clean with great showers. Will definitely stay again if out this way!

Nothing, everything was great

You can’t beat the location! It’s in the heart of downtown within walking distance to everything. And having the Celtic Cowboy restaurant on site is great too. It felt safe and comfortable. Having a pet friendly room for our two huskies was great.

There’s nothing the hotel can do about it, but small rooms with no exterior windows make for a slightly claustrophobic feeling. It might be okay with a single bed, but the double beds took up the entire space. Not a problem if you’re just using the room for sleeping, but if you plan on spending time in the room there’s really nowhere to sit except the bed and the lighting in the room feels pretty artificial.

Beautiful building. Right next to Celtic Cowboy restaurant and bar. Ideal location for the Christmas stroll downtown. They have an enclosed parking garage. In the lobby is fresh ice water and hot beverage service for free

No windows in many of the rooms. The ground floor rooms have a lot of traffic in the front and back. The garage is located in the back of the property and the lobby is at the front. Not quiet on the first floor

Interesting old restored building. Hallways are filled with wonderful western-themed art of all styles. Like staying in an art gallery. Direct access into Irish-themed bar/restaurant with very good food.

No drive-up entrance to park, check in and drop luggage. 🫤 There were no parking places open in front so we had to park across street in a lot and trundle luggage from there. OK for able-bodied singles or couples but an effort for seniors or families.

David, the night staff, worked with us with an issue with a noisy vent. He listened and then solved the issue by moving us to a quieter room.

The first room we were in had a was a noisy vent, and the staff moved us to a much quieter room.. I hope they can fix the problem. I like the upgrades they made in the rooms and the atmosphere on the building.
