I recently had a delightful stay at STAYS Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and overall, it left a positive impression on me. The hotel is a charming boutique establishment that opened its doors about 2-3 months ago. The room, while a tad on the smaller side, exuded comfort and had a cozy vibe. The central location was a major plus, making it a breeze to explore the city with the train station and various eateries within walking distance. One thing I particularly appreciated was the hotel's cleanliness and pleasant aroma—a testament to their commitment to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. However, a small caveat: the bathroom floor could be a bit slippery when wet, so a cautious step is advised. The in-room entertainment was a pleasant surprise with a Google TV, allowing easy access to personal content on platforms like Netflix and YouTube. A thoughtful touch for those who enjoy a bit of downtime in their rooms. Parking, on the other hand, proved to be a bit challenging. If you're lucky to arrive early, there are a few spots next to the hotel. Otherwise, there are alternative lots within walking distance, though it may require a bit of a stroll.

Now, here's a friendly note to the management: it would be fantastic if you could reconsider the credit card surcharge during payments. According to Bank Negara Malaysia, retailers are not supposed to impose such surcharges. Let's keep it all legal and hassle-free!

New hotel, friendly staff, nice location, smart tv

Toilet floor made of marbles, a bit slippery. Maybe can add toiletries next time.

Great place near the center. The room was new, clean nad looked modern. There are transport stops nearby, lots of shops and restaurants, money exchange, pharmacy and even a hospital. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Can be noisy. It was quiet overall, but sometimes you can hear other guests leaving their room, or someone driving a noisy car/motorcycle from the road.

I admire the sleek contemporary aesthetic, which exudes cleanliness. Despite arriving late at around 1AM, the staff graciously facilitated our check-in process. They even arranged a parking spot, which was greatly appreciated. The location is excellent, just a five-minute drive from the hospital we needed to visit. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we missed experiencing their breakfast at the café. Hopefully, during our next visit, we can leisurely enjoy some coffee and dessert there.

Recommended! Value for money. All facilities especially the bed is so comfortable. The flat tv easily to handle, the bed light set up is good and easy to control and handle for the lighting. The cleanliness can rate 9/10. The receptionist is so friendly and welcoming guest. Have 1 person at parking area to assist for car park and also offer to bring luggage for check in.

The toiletries prepared only for 1 pax which is the toothbrush. No lift provided and not handicapped friendly. Need to check in within time given which is 2 pm - 9 pm. After 9pm -12pm have charge RM 39. Check in after 12 am will charged RM 69. If you come from far, need to plan and arrived within time frame to avoid extra charge.

Cozy and clean, 10-15 mins walk to HKL, 5mins walk to nearest lrt station

The reception only work from 9am to 9pm, unable to check out before 9am, as I have paid a deposit of rm 200, so it is a bit inconvenient to wait till the reception open to check out and take back the deposit… if you are using credit card to pay then they may need to photostat the front and back of your credit card to keep as verification

The room has no indoor doorlock. I suggest to add one for extra security for the guest inside. Otherwise all ok.

Personally, wasn’t the biggest fan of the location but that’s of course highly subjective. In fact, it’s not too far from the center and malls. I’m generally surprised about the lack of trust when it comes to the deposits (but this seems to apply for almost all accommodations in KL and is nowhere exclusive to this property).

The facilities are fairly new since the hotel was opened quite recently. The staff there is friendly and helpful. There is a convenient store nearby and a few eateries. The hotel is near to the LRT station.

Although there's a cafe downstairs, I wish that the hotel could also add complimentary coffee/tea in each hotel room.

It was in a good location a few minutes away from the metro station so getting to places was easy. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

There weren’t any sight seeing maps in the hotel and no tea coffee in the room. You could only have a drink whilst cafe was open.
