Late check-in was no problem, which we appreciated after a long journey. Free parking was a great bonus, especially so close to the city. The location is very convenient – just a 10-minute walk to the city centre. Check-in was super quick and efficient. Breakfast was good, with a nice selection of items including good coffee and juices. A solid choice for a short city stay. Nothing extraordinary, but clean, comfortable, and well-located – we were satisfied with our visit.

The beds were a bit on the hard side, which might not suit everyone.

It was incredibly clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast is available until 11am on Sat & Sun (we had it on Sat so we slept more which was awesome) , buffet, generous and diversified. Some wholemeal bread and sweetener (instead of sugar) would have been nice to have, but otherwise ok. They have a big parking lot, and the gym is big, modern, and very well equipped - it is basically a public gym with direct and free access from the hotel.

The pillows are a little too soft, and although we were a couple in a double bed, we had 2 small blankets, which was a little weird to keep so much sheet in the bed between us. But they were very clean and soft and not smelling (of detergent) so all good in the end. There is a 15-20 min walk to downtown, so it's not close to city center, but the area is good.

The rooms are huge, with big and comfortable beds. Everything clean and comfortable. The breakfast is offered in the second floor, with a good selection of bread, eggs, sausages and bacon. Joghurt, fruits and cereals are available for the lighter breakfast. Coffee is very good. During my stay there was a big wedding in the ballroom, but no noise in the room - perfect! The hotel is located 10 minutes by food from the city center - perfect!

Bathroom could have been a bit bigger (at least in my room, not in line with the huge room, but ok) and better shampoo etc. would be appreciated. During my stay there was roadwork going on, but no noise during the stay, only a bit of inconvenience at arrival. The hotel parking lot is located behind an official parking lot, it was hard to leave the parking lot, as it was blocked by cars in the official one, but that was caused by the road work.

The hotel was easy to reach and had a private parking. The location was pretty good, we could walk to the shopping area, and to the city center. The room was very spacious, really big, and well furnished. We had large windows, great light and good heating. The bed was large and comfortable, we had everything we needed. The breakfast was great, many options, meats and vegetables. We also liked the paintings on the hallways.

Nothing to dislike. Everything was fine.

Hotel Impero is an old school European hotel located just a short distance from the restored and rejuvenated historic center of Oradea. The rooms are a bit dated, but spacious and clean with decent Wi-Fi. A good Romanian breakfast is served every morning. I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Impero and do recommend it for a short stay.

Good location (10-15 min walk to city center), big parking lot, friendly staff at the reception and at the restaurant, clean everywhere. Basic breakfast. And a nice cat, who seems to be the owner of the entrance hall.

We have spent 4 days. Two days it was not enough room for all the people for breakfast. Busses with tourists and the Breakfast room can not manage. They were three people of the Kitchen staff just looking at us and telling us that they can not do anything.

Although the hotel is clean, the carpets in the room and corridors doesn't really help. Also, the artificial scent in the corridors from automatic air-fresheners, isn't acceptable by everyone

The room was very spacious and clean; so very ok..

You have to like carpeting :-) The only problem was that there was no chair available to use the table for work (and I was there on business), so the two armchairs were unfortunately not suitable.

Big rooms, nice location within walking distance of the center, the Oradea zoo is right accross the street. Very nice staff who helped us out evene though we came to the breakfast close to closing hour. Big parking lot accross the street as well.
