After many less good experiences with other hotels in Barranquilla, the BH BARRANQUILLA is the first hotel in the city, who fully satisfied my expectation. Nice location. Nice room. Nice breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. The whirlpool on the roof top is amazing.... I would like to tell a private experience: I felt really sick during my stay and the hotel helped me extraordinary. They were organising a medical hotline first with a nurse and later with a doctor. Following my wish a doctor came to see me in my room. When I was ready to pay for the doctor´s visit in my CheckOut, the hotel took over the costs and I did not had to pay the doctor´s visit. I am still impressed about so much hospitality.

Pros: * Bedding - Extremely comfortable * Shower - Excellent pressure and temperature (hot) * Bathroom - Large and spacious, just like the main room too! * Minibar - Very well stocked with lots of options * A/C - Worked great! * Layout - Great design the way the bathroom was behind the headboards * Parking - Convenient elevator access to the basement garage * Concierge - Excellent service with quick & easy check-in / check-out process

Cons: * View - There wasn't anything particularly cool about the view from our room, BUT that honestly wasn't important to me, since we could see much more of the city from the rooftop deck, which was amazing

Position, comfort, spacious room. Bed is comfortable.

Breakfast was modest. The curtain of the room was broken so it was always down (luckily it was just the curtain and not the shade). A/C was basically either full on or off, difficult to regulate it (or anyways it seemed not to have any effect).

Super clean and beautiful place to stay. We stayed during carnival and it was perfect for what we needed. For the period of time I would say it was well priced. Great facilities.

The room service food was not delicious for the price. But still very convenient.

the breakfast was good, bed was comfortable. reception was friendly and responded quickly when called. for the price it was very reasonable.

the wifi up on the 4th floor did not work properly, only seemed to work in the bathroom. the pool/jacuzzi didn’t turn on, and didn’t seem clean enough to go in :(

Well located, they offer good value for money Clean and convenient they offer unpretentious but more than addequate accommodation. Hotel staff was amazing and breakfast buffet was varied and delicious. Would come again

The pool is not really a pool but more a very large jacuzzi - not necessarily a con but to be aware of to set expectations.

The hotel is a bit far from the main points of interest. However, the location felt pretty safe at night

The breakfast Buffett was fantastic with fresh fruits, juices, and great eggs. Also, I like the big jacuzzi with city view and super awesome steam room. I will highly recommend this hotel. BDW, congratulations Barranquilla.
