It was clear from day 1 the management has showed care in the detail. Those small, well-executed details created a comfortable, safe, and memorable environment for us. Exceptional room cleanliness (congrats to the cleaning team!). Top-notch thoughtful amenities. Fast and reliable wi-fi. Pool was great after a long day excursions in the area. Easy checkin-checkout. Convenient location. Next time we might book a slight larger room for our family of 3. For a couple the room was extremely spacious! Nothing we would propose for improvement overall! The management just needs to keep up the effort to maintain this high quality.

The Lazar Lux is truly exceptional. This is our second year, having first stayed in 2023 when they first opened. We were blown away then and were again as the place is spectacular with beautiful rooms fantastic service, and excellently located as it is right across the street from the most stunning beach which offers free sun beds and great food options. We stayed for two nights in a 1 bedroom suite with Jetted Tub on the biggest wraparound Terrace with both sea and pool views. Our 15 and 11 year olds were stunned and sent several videos and photos to their friends- a sign that you’ve won as a parent, apparently with tweens/teenagers. You’d expect to pay premium for this property except it’s one of the few in the area that is truly valid for money. Do yourself a favour and book this property. You won’t regret it.

It’s a shame they’ve closed their restaurant as TWI years ago it offered some of the best breakfast we’d ever tasted in the area.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Lazar Lux Suites. The biggest highlight was definitely the spacious terrace with the private hot tub – an amazing spot to relax! While the apartment itself is compact (might feel a bit tight for more than two people), it was cozy, clean, and comfortable. We especially appreciated the mid-stay towel and linen change, the restocked toiletries, and the thoughtful extras like bathrobes and slippers, even a complimentary bottle of wine – such a lovely touch! Initially, a few kitchen items were missing (like a pan and kitchen towel), but housekeeping quickly noticed and provided what we needed. Small downside was that the sea view was partly blocked by nearby buildings – but honestly, the hot tub made up for it completely. Communication with the hotel was smooth and welcoming – special thanks to Liene at reception for her kind and respectful presence. We felt warmly received but also had the space to relax without interruption, which we really value. The pool area was lovely, though sadly still too cold to swim in during our stay.

The only small issue was that the shower door didn’t close fully, so water spilled a bit onto the floor – not a big problem, but worth mentioning.

The apartments are in a lovely, quiet spot but so close to the beach and restaurants. Reception staff were really helpful and friendly. The apartment was spotlessly clean! The cleaners went above and beyond every day, making sure that everything was perfect in the apartment. The pool is lovely. Good size. Would definitely recommend!

The only thing to mention is that the floor in the shower is very slippery so I think shower mats are needed.

Very modern, comfortable room with excellent beds. Nice pool area and quite close to the beach. The room was cleaned to a high standard daily. The room had a good balcony with plenty of space, comfortable chairs and a spot to dry some clothes. The kitchen although compact was functional. The coffee maker was good. Excellent air conditioning.

Room is only supplied with two coffee pods on arrival and no milk. When I requested more coffee pods the next day the staff were very reluctant to supply them and I needed to threaten a bad review to get a couple more coffee pods. There is no restaurant on site + no way to buy drinks or refreshments except to walk to the shop (quite close)

Ideally situated to visit Agios Nikolaos (5 minutes drive) and east side of Crete, easy access and calm surroundings. It makes for a perfect return point to explore the area without having to travel by car for too long; but still expect a 30minute to 1 hour depending on where you want to go. The junior suite was impeccable, i didn't have time to enjoy the pool but it looked very nice.

Excellent facilities, super clean and tidy, modern apartment. Convenient location for a swim, next to the sea. A couple of taverns and a small store next door. Close by to Agios Nikolaos 5 min drive. The staff is really helpful, friendly and the ones who make it all look so good. We had the suite with the jacuzzi, it had 2 balconies with a sea view.

Nothing really, it would be nice to have a couple of drinks and a pool bar or something, but it’s a detail.

Beautiful place, fab location right across from beach and a few restaurants. The apt was really spacious and lovely, you could open the balcony doors right back so it was like being inside but outside on the comfiest armchairs! The aircon worked great, gorgeous relaxing pool area, great staff, and a beautiful gift on departure. We stayed an extra night so it must have been good! Thank you we will be back!

it’s just a little bit far from Agios and quiet. to be fair we knew this before we booked. I would stay again though as it was 5*

Kitchen was spacious, but not enough equipment. We had an apartment for 4 people, but only 3 bowls, 2 small pots, no cutting knife,... We were constantly washing dishes 😉 A clothing rack to hang up wet clothes would have been useful as well. Laundry was very expensive (we went to a laundry service in Elounda instead).
