A peaceful location yet only minutes from the sea front and restaurants. Cadaques was charming with many lovely shops and restaurants. The hotel was lovely and clean with friendly helpful staff. Although the pool area was not very big, it seemed adequate for the number of guests. There was a wide range of food at breakfast, a little bit of English,ie toast and cereals, and a huge range of continental food, all delicious. The added bonus was an underground garage which took away the worry of leaving the car in the street. It cost 18 euros per day but was well worth it.

We were a little disappointed at the size of our room. It was more suitable for single occupancy rather than a couple. The bed was pushed against the wall so I had to climb in from the bottom end. The safe didn't work and despite us calling in the receptionist many times, he was unable to repair it and it wasn't replaced during the 2 weeks of our stay.

The staff was very welcoming and this is valid for all the areas. Pool bar, reception, breakfast, night reception. The rooms are big and spacious and the balcony, despite being small, has a great view. The breakfast exceeded the expectations, most of the product were high quality

The pool area is theoretically good, but there is not much space between the water and the beds which makes the experience less relaxing if some of the guests are behaving inappropriate. I would advice an age limit to access the pool, at least certain hours during the day because many tourists have no respect. A whole family was jumping and screaming in the pool and this destroyed the relaxation. Also the sound from the corridor is quite high unfortunately.

The Blaumar is a small friendly hotel ideally situated in a secluded residential area, yet only a few minutes walk to all the facilities in this animated resort. The staff are very friendly and professional. The room was extremely comfortable and whilst the resort was experiencing a severe heatwave, the air-conditioning kept the room at an ideal temperature. The continental breakfast was more than adequate for our needs. The terrace and the pool were ideal for "chilling out".

Everything was excellent.The location, rooms, service, and breakfast were all outstanding. We stayed for four nights in a balcony room with a beautiful view of Cadaqués. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also excellent, especially the fresh croissants. We’re already dreaming of coming back next year.

We had a great time on the balcony. It would have been nice to have a nespresso machine or kettle in the room.

I love the location. Close enough to restaurants, the beach, a boat, a train ride to Cap de Creus or a stroll to Dali’s house, but far enough away from the noise of the town for poolside peace.

Bathrooms are a little dated with showers over the bath, although facilities are good quality and work well. However, the bed was blissful.

Hotel close to centre of Cadaques. An easy stroll down to the seafront. Plenty of sunbeds by the pool. Nice breakfast available each morning. Rooms were clean and enough room for 2. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Hotel were unable to give us rooms together which although not problematic, would have been nicer if it had been possible. Parking garage on site is extremely tight to get in and out of. A kettle in the rooms would have been a nice touch.

Room was stylish, spacious and comfortable. We didn’t book a room with a balcony but wished we had as the views across the terrace, pool and mountains were lovely. Breakfast terrace and pool area were beautiful and breakfast was excellent - coffee was great. Loads of restaurants close by. Would definitely recommend.

Tea/coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice. I know it’s a British thing but it would have made it perfect!

Clean and quiet area close to the beach. Swimming pool área small but very cozy. Bedroom bigger than expected. Breakfast sufficient.

A bit expensive but the location is good. Short in staff, after the whole morning outside, nobody had cleaned the room, around 16:00 h someone called to clean, obviously too late. You must use the bell to call for waiters or receptionist. Parking inside, but difficult to park

Villa Carmelas was in the most perfect location, a very short walk to the water and the main strip of restaurants. The room was SO well kept, and the air conditioning was very welcome in the summer heat. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. I loved the pool, and it was so nice to have it as an option along with the beach. The buffet breakfast was a great option and reasonably priced.

Nothing! I would recommend Villa Carmelas to anyone travelling to Cadaques! I truly would not change a thing.
