The staff are lovely , excellent service always with a smile. The hotel has a nice ambience with live music in the bar area. There is a separate smoking lounge that has good air extraction for cigar smoking, where you can have drinks . This is the only hotel left that has a smoking lounge in Saint Anton. The food was very good , this was the highest quality half board with meat , fish and vegan options , 5 course evening meals. Breakfast is also very good. The rooms are comfortable and clean and a good size. Location is very good , you have the option to leave skis and boots at the ski hire shops by the lifts so can walk the short walk from the hotel in your own shoes.

The only thing that would of been nice would be to have a fridge in the rooms.

Fantastic food. As a vegetarian I was very well catered for and excited for my dinner every day. Staff were always helpful and lovely. Very family friendly.

Unfortunately, there is a taxi rank at the front of the hotel, so a constant level of noise disturbed our sleep. We needed the window open as it was impossible to cool the rooms down. After a few days we asked for a fan and the noise of that helped block the outside shouts and excitement throughout the night.

The Schwarzer Adler was a lovely hotel and provided so much more than we had expected. We ended up staying an extra night as it was such good value. The evening meal was a delicious set 5 course menu with a vegan option. The restaurant staff were brilliant and the restaurant manager really friendly and helpful. The hotel had a lovely family feel to it. There were so many thoughtful and lovely elements to the hotel. This included the outdoor and indoor pool, the collection from the station and the views. Just a great hotel that hopefully we will return to next year!

As it was hot, would try to book a room with a/c next time if possible or a balcony.

The breakfast was as good as any buffet breakfast that I have ever had. The variety was huge and all the ingredients were quality. I am quite particular about my bacon and they cooked it perfectly. The fruits were excellent and the fresh breads were delicious. You would be very satisfied if you were a vegetarian. They also had a massive variety of non-dairy products. The best part of the Hotel was the staff. The reception staff who initially greeted us made us feel welcome. The bar staff were always attentive and the waiting staff in the restaurant were clearly very well trained and seemed to enjoy their work.

We all felt that the hotel was amazing. a negative observation, rather than a complaint was there was a real aesthetic difference between the rooms that have been recently renovated and those that have not. However, the room that had not been renovated was perfectly comfortable (and was reflected in the price)

Every member of staff was so helpful and polite and it seemed like they remembered each of the kids names . Always happy to prepare something different or bring a high chair to the room for us. The facilities for the kids/toddlers aren’t talked about enough or shown on the website. It is so family friendly but not overwhelming amount of kids either. The family rooms were such a good size. We brought a two year old as well as a 1 year old and had the best time! Will definitely be back.

Fabulous location at the start of the main pedestrian zone. Spectacular view of the hills and mountains from our bed. Huge doors that could open right out were awesome. Afternoon sun was perfect. Beautiful authentic Austrian building. Great pools and spa areas. Nice selections for breakfast . Afternoon tea was a lovely treat. Accomodating and friendly staff. Easy parking at hotel. Gorgeous St Anton summer experience.

I loved everything. Highlights - the outdoor pool looking at the mountains, delicious five course dinner which is excellent value, friendly staff, modern but also family alpine feel. Location is perfect as you by town and close to lift, but they have agreement to leave skis in intersport exactly opposite the main lifts

Wonderful staff, very well located. So many things to do in St Anton in the summer! The pool is wonderful, there was a wide variety of food at breakfast. The rooms were clean and spacious. Would stay again.

The bathroom wasn't super modern and the room maybe could have used an extra floorlight, but all in these are very small things,, my stay was very good.

Staff were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. The room was cleaned to a high standard daily. Spa area was so nice and relaxing after a hard day skiing. Great selection of food for breakfast, and afternoon tea, will be back.

Our room was opposite the bar with live music & a nightclub, could hear people leaving, was too loud to have windows open. Take earplugs and keep the windows closed and you'll be fine, or go to the club and join in. Would love to have a kettle in the room to make a cuppa in the morning.

Breakfast was very good. Waiting staff were excellent! The staff in the Hotel Schwarzer Adler are very welcoming and professional. I would particularly like to mention Zoran who was very helpful in organizing ski school, ski passes etc. I would also like to thank Anna for all her assistance and problem solving skills. It is a great hotel and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Didn't enjoy half board dinner. Did not feel it was value for money.
