The room was clean and stylish. Comfortable stay with partner. There was a pleasant courtyard, where you could either enjoy the restaurant or sit on a bench or in comfortable chairs and listen to the sound of water from the fountain. Also the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

They could have warned that the hotel was undergoing renovation (they did it during the day, yes, but still when there are louder sounds and someone wants to take a longer morning nap..). There was also no soap in the room, with which you would have liked to wash your hands.

We stayed here after landing late at Malaga airport on our way to Sevilla. Juan Jesus was welcoming, helpful and friendly when we arrived at midnight. The room was very clean and comfortable and we were surprised to see that they provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo/bodywash and a razor, which was great because it meant we didn’t have to completely empty our suitcases during our short overnight stay. The courtyard was also lovely and looked like the perfect place to sit, unfortunately we didn’t get to enjoy it. The reception staff the next morning were also very pleasant and accommodating by arranging us a taxi so we could collect our rental car. We can be quite fussy about where we stay but we chose this place based on the good reviews and we were very surprised that it’s only 2* because it was extremely clean, with good facilities and friendly staff, we had a very pleasant stay here.

It was a bit noisy with guests passing the room in the early hours of the morning.

Liked the location close to bus stop for city centre ( 30 to 40 minutes). Also noticed that the red Hop on Hop off bus stopped there too. As we were attending the Bryan Adams concert ( noticed many other hotel guests who were along too) at the Cortijo del Torres, there was only a 5 tob10 minute walk. Adjoining restaurant , cafe where you could also have drinks to enjoy in the large terrace area. Our room had a lovely big terrace with table and chairs overlooking the street so we could have had a nice nightcap if needed. Hotel lobby, stairs and hallways were beautifully decorated. The outside square terrace with central fountain and lovely tiled pictures were particularly pleasing to sit in.

Room had basic amenities, no safe or fridge. Not sure if all were the same. We also had a double bed and a single bed even though I had booked a twin, so it was rather cramped, particularly trying to access the wardrobe!

Located only a 12 minute taxi ride to the airport. Rooms and all public spaces were very clean. The restaurant was excellent, good food, reasonable prices and good service. There is little need to go out looking for something better, which you likely won't find anyway. Free wifi that worked well.

We had a room with a balcony, so I can only speak of that. The room was quite small, as it had a double bed and a single bed. Admittedly, we were traveling with a little more luggage than most couples would have, but we were able to put some of the bags on the single bed which made them easier to access. The room would work better for a single person or a couple who are traveling light.

We were very pleasantly surprised. Hotel Romerito has rooms at two levels surrounding a typical Andalusian courtyard. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed with tasteful decor. Definitely more a 3 star, rather than a 2 star. Travel links into central Malaga were fairly easy. We returned our hire car in the afternoon, did a bit of sightseeing around Malaga and found transport links back to the hotel without problems. There are both bus and train stops very close by. The reception desk arranged for a taxi to get us to the airport the next morning. Cost was 20 euro. There is an independent restaurant adjacent to the hotel serving breakfast and dinner.

The hotel is very nice, it very clean and the interior is very modern, rooms are not massive but perfectly comfortable and clean, the bed was comfortable and lovely soft sheets, and pillows, great shower plenty of hot water clean and modern bathrooms with powerful hairdryer nice touches like toothbrush and paste and razors provided. There is a beautiful courtyard with fountain outside seating. There is a restaurant and bar, nice food the receptionists are very nice, friendly and helpful, most of the restaurant/bar staff are also friendly and nice with the exception of one female staff she was one of the most rude!! Unpleasant!!! Miserable!! People I have ever encountered she let’s this hotel down and she would be the I would not return, she made our stay very unpleasant!!

The unpleasant unfriendly, rude, lady in the restaurant/bar! I read the reviews on this hotel and seen a few people had mentioned the same things about this member of staff!! She ruined our stay the hotel need to do something about her!!! The hotel is quite far from anywhere and you will have to have a car or use the bus to get about (easy to do)

The hotel is conveniently located in Los Prados. There is a bus stop opposite the Hotel tha make very easy to commute to the city centre in about 20 minutes. The restaurant/cafe offers a good service from 9am to 11pm and the baristas and waiters are lovely people always ready to help and with a smile. Rooms are kept nice and clean, and having a window to the internal courtyard guarantees a quiet and silent night sleep.

I believe there was an issue with the Aircon, and the room temperature can't be controlled. However, it was a very minor issue as the weather was clement, and we can easily do without.

This hotel really surprised me, it exceeded my expectations. It’s a 2 star hotel that is genuinely way better than many 3 or even 4 star hotels that I’ve ever stayed in. + It’s very clean + The size of the room is sufficient + The bathroom is very clean + The rooms are modern and stylish + There is even a big balcony where you can chill

- The location is not ideal, it’s a bit far from the centre but you can always take the bus which takes 20-25 minutes so it’s not that bad - The staff in general is very nice, there was just one lady in glasses who was quite rude and abrasive

I chose the hotel only because it was close to the airport for my early flight out, and had an in-house restaurant. This hotel ended up being one of my nicer stays while in Spain! Well off the tourist trail, in a sort of industrial/neighborhood area. Actually got to practice my Spanish as no one I met there spoke English. Room was very bright and clean, well-furnished, and had a little balcony looking out at a lovely courtyard. I needed a late dinner and the outdoor courtyard seating was full of folks doing the same - had a nice meal and beer, enjoying the pretty courtyard and the comaraderie of all the Spanish families staying there. Very different from busy tourist spots. Perfect for my last night in Spain.

Nothing I can think of. If someone wanted to eat out nearby, it would be hard to do without a car- I didn't see much close by.

We went to a concert and the venue was 15 mins walk from the hotel. We ate and drank in the courtyard and found it was good value for money and given the location you wouldn’t expect a hotel like this.

We and other guests who went to the concert arrived back at the hotel at 12:30-12:45 am and were told the bar was closed. Most of the residents were there to attend the concert and I think it would have benefited the hotel and guests if the bar was open till 1:30/2am.
