Diane and John were the most professional front staff employees I have encountered in a long time! Cudos to them both!!

Camera in the parking lot, someone hit my brand new truck that I bought the week before my trip. Just wanted to know who did it.

Very quiet with clean rooms and very comfortable beds.

The low-maintenance breakfast could be improved. Pre-packaged Velveeta "omelettes" were so-so. Pancake machine made odd pancakes. They desperately need a waffle machine instead. Bisquits and juices were good. Liked that there were yogurt selections.

During the evening, the smoke alarm started to beep every so often. I called the front desk, and the young gentlemen who checked me in came immediately and put in new batteries which solved the problem for the night. After I was awake in the morning, it started up again. This was not a big problem and I alerted the front desk up an early check out. I also appreciated the receipt under my door overnight. My previous stay in College Station (last month) was at the Hampton Inn and they refused to provide a receipt. My wife, a CPA contacted the hotel subsequently and they promised to send one which they never did. I had to print out part of the credit card statement so I could get reimbursed. So I won't stay there again which is how I came to stay at this Holiday Inn Express instead.

The lack of hot fresh cookies during afternoon check in,

I tried to book a room for $99 but after all the taxes it run the room up to $158 . I told the agent no way. Three weeks before our room was only$123. I ask my daughter if she could find me a room more reasonable.

The bed was comfortable and area was quite.

Breakfast wasn’t the best; could’ve had regular eggs instead of veggie omelets and some bacon instead of the pork links.

Stayed three extra days since we had a great stay with staff and the pool and hot tub snacks also was a plus
