We are a travelling group and availed two rooms and their tour package. From the time booking was made, the response time was fast. Every query is answered. Upon arrival, the staff will welcome you with a smile. They are very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with complete amenities, including toiletries, a blower, a fridge, duvets, hot and cold showers, towels, and complimentary coffee. You can say it’s well thought out. The bar and restaurant food are great, paired with music from live band at night. Love the vibes, the view, and the aesthetic of the place both morning and night. Moreover, the place has its generator. Power interruption is not an issue! We also suggest booking their tours. Kuya Albert, our driver and guide, is very friendly and has lots of suggestions, which was very helpful. We've been availing group tours offered by our accommodations in the past, but this is the first time the tour has provided us with beach towels. It’s very thoughtful of them, given that we will get wet with all the water-related activities. I was excited for the beach, but we arrived right at high tide, so no sand in sight! Guess it's a perfect excuse to come back and see it at low tide. 😉 Lastly, if you want to explore restaurants, the location is very walkable or near other food options too! Highly recommended place! -------------------------------- P.S. Their post-stay customer service deserves a shoutout too! I was pleasantly surprised when they messaged me with a photo of something we left behind in the room. Such a thoughtful gesture!

The bathroom door needs repair, it is made of wood and has cracks. Other than that it's all good. Although this is not related to the accommodation, be aware that phone signals may be unavailable during a power interruption.

Love the location, the restaurant, and the staff! - Location is close to a lot of restaurants, spas, and convenience stores. - The restaurant serves really great food and the view is superb, which was further emphasized by how they designed their seating areas. - What we love most about Swakihan are their amazing staff. We rented a car for two days to get around Siquijor and kuya Joseph was helpful, friendly, and super chill. The concierge staff also helped us go to other locations via tuktuk and took us back to the port. We’re also really grateful that they accommodated us for late dinner after we got our massages from a spa which they also recommended. Thank you so much for accommodating us with our requests ♥️

Perfect location. The host Ms. Cyril and Mr. JetWin were very friendly and took care of our needs. Check in and checkout was very smooth. The restaurant in Swakihan is very good with beachside view. Beach is easily accessible. Staffs are friendly and always with a smile. It is near dive centers and tricycles are easy to find. It is only 10 to 15 minutes from Port area. Family room is large enough. Room is equipped with Smart Tv which is great for Youtube. We went to Tubod Santuary and Tulapos. I must say Tubod has better marine life.

Brownouts in Siquijor

Our family had a wonderful stay at Swakihan. The room was spotless and spacious, perfect for our family of three. The staff was always accommodating and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The manager was very hands-on and had an amazing imagination, especially when it comes to the decoration. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, creating a chill and beautiful vibe throughout the place. The outdoor amenities were stunning, with a beachfront view that was incredible from every spot, whether at a regular table, on a sunbed, or up in the treehouse. My favorite part was watching the sunset while listening to live band music, such a perfect way to end the day.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location, the staff and the environment was perfect. Also the food and drinks are very nice and affordable. They do live music on the eveing wich suits perfect with the sunset timing. There's also a little beach in the hotel and it's perfect for a quick deep or just for lay there, relax and enjoy a good book. I would deffinetely recommend Swakihan Guest House if you are staying in Siquijor. We regret not extending our stay. Thank you so much for having us!! If we come back to the Philippines we will deffinetely stay here again! :)

they were very accomodating with our requests. i asked for more pilllows and they willingly provided us with more. i asked if we can still use the motorbike that we rented the next day to buy boat tickets in siquijor and they let us use it for free. most importantly, my 1 year old had fever and cough and was having an asthma attack and he needed to be nebulized, and they had a nebulizer which they had us use for free! overall, staff were great, friendly, and accomodating. the ambience was nice, and gold was great too! big servings!

A lot! Its strategic location in the island and how it's situated at the beach front. The ambience which is very calming and relaxing. The staff including the owner themselves are very helpful and made our stay a little bit more special with how they connect with their guests. These on top of what the island can offer. 🙂

Not with the property but how transport to the island can be a bit of pain. Otherwise, our stay was lovely despite it being cut short due to unforeseen circumstances.

Where to begin… Location - on the beach. During the day (low tide) can walk down the beach to the main town / market very easily. At night, location ideal to venture to the restaurant/ bars. But… I ended up staying in the hotel restaurant on 2 nights as the food was great, drinks were amazing, sunset view was out of this world. And the staff… were absolutely incredible. Room - just what was needed for a guest house in Siquijor. Ticked all the boxes that i needed for my stay. Clean and modern and totally spacious. Amazing big room. With a fridge too which always is handy Facilities - asked for extra coffee / water / towels and the front desk staff organised it within seconds. Restaurant/ bar - great drinks and food all very well priced. Strongly suggest having the shakes - mango and cucumber shakes were highly recommended! As well as the squid balls or french fries as a snack through the day. Likewise the breakfasts were great too, either traditional Filipino style (I recommend this highly!) or more European options if you don’t fancy the local cuisine. Services - the management team organised a day trip at very short notice. Great day. And would recommend this, all you need to do is list the areas / location to visit and then turn up on the day. Similarly the team helped me understand the ferry schedule, as some tourist sites say that there are only 2 ferries a day. There’s a sign in reception which reads ‘leave as family’ I truly believe all staff believe in this motto. And as a solo traveller was made to feel completely at home here. When can I come back! :)

Loved this stay. Everyone is super nice, in particular Kenny. We also loved the small kittens they had during the stay and the lovely dog. Even came back after visiting another Island. And will come back for sure again:)

The room was spacious and clean, with good AC. They have just nicely renovated the common area, and it overlooks a small private beach, from which you can watch the sunset. It is beautiful! The staff is very polite and helpful. We rented a motorcycle directly from the hotel for a good price.

The only issue was that the rooms are poorly isolated. The area is pretty quiet so it is not too much of an issue, but you can hear your neighbours !
