We had a big room and the property has a lot of space all around to walk with kids. Sauna and pool were well kept. The 2 restauranrts on site well compensate the fact that there is nothing around form miles. Free parking on site Overall good choice for anyone travelling to Calais from the south.

- The property park,farm and greeneriers are not very well kept to be considered an attraction of a 5 star hotel - We expected more from a 5 stsrs hotel than a cappuccino made with an automated machine. Also breakfast choices and the way it was organised was not great. -some of the staff either struggles with english or they are not very inclined in serving non english speaker guests. and you can clearly see the differnece of treatment compared to the french speaking guests -in the spa there were no towels. only one layed on esch deckchair. after that no one around to ask for more. only water served in the spa. -Minibar was basically empty.

Great location, not far from the Autoroute. Lovely buildings, original house and the beautifully designed modern wing and Pool areas. Great indoor pool . Good grounds with separate section for Donkeys, goats and etc. Great room and en suite, fabulous dinner in the Brasserie…really delicious! We’ve eaten in some good places over the years…the food and flavours here were fabulous! Worth return for…and that the Brasserie…not tried the Restaurant as closed during our visit.

We arrived too early…driving from the middle to the North of France…our room understandably wasn’t ready, hotel was very quiet and as it was an intermittently rainy day, so we couldn’t relax in the grounds. With hindsight we should have used the Spa pool complex sooner! Will remember next time to not arrive too early.

The ambience of the hotel and partucularly the grounds were first class, as were the meals we took, if somewhat overpriced. The staff were all friendly

The room was rather dark and the decoration bland. The view from the small window could only be seen up close to it. The large, metal and ugly chandelier was fixed in a relatively low ceiling which had to be avoided by stepping around it by an only moderately tall person. I managed to do this all but once and receibed a nasty gash in the top of my head. Reception was told about this and they seemed only moderately interested. There were no slippers to go with the swimming robe and this was also pointed out, but with no result.

The location was perfect, easy to get to from the motorway and a great stop off point close to calais. The Bedrooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. The food was outstanding in particular their knowledge and understanding of allergies. Travelling in France as a celiac isn't easy, but the staff were helpful and the homemade gluten free bread was delicious. The breakfast selection was the best we had in our 9 days of travelling. We will definitely be returning.

After a long journey travelling across Europe, we wanted to stay within an hour of LeShuttle to cross to the UK, but needed somewhere to relax, walk around, and eat well, and wanted to make our last night in Europe really special. Le Château De Beaulieu was a perfect choice. A very good example of a Relais & Chateaux hotel, luxury bedrooms and facilities, great locally sourced food perfectly cooked, excellent breakfast, underlined with great service. We slept exceptionally well, and enojoyed a lazy morning over breakfast. Superb location, brilliant hotel, lots of nice touches, beautifully designed. What more can I say, we loved every minute.

We arrived early evening, I would have preferred longer opening hours at the spa/pool and missed out becaise of the 8pm closing time. Next time we will try to arrive a bit earlier.

Hotel grounds were nice with well landscaped gardens, a small animal farm and ponds, has two great restaurants, a good swimming pook and sauna facilities. The breakfast pastries, cold cuts and fresh juices were great.

Rooms could be better decorated and more serene, air con could be more effective, there's no body lotion?!, breakfast was charged to our room despite it being included in the room rate (which was had to get rectified after we got home), breakfast could have better hot meal options for the restaurant of this level. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere so driving is a must.

It was beautifully and very tastefully restored. The restaurant food and ambiance superb. Very good quality bedrooms, linens, bathrooms etc. Lovely, peaceful grounds. A great find in that part of France where accommodations of this high quality are a rarity. Easy access from motorway

The breakfast was underwhelming and the breakfast room a bit soulless . It lets down the rest of the high standards

The staff and service is exceptional, very attentive to details. The property is beautiful outside (fermette, park, vegetable and fruit gardens) as well as inside (spa restaurants, rooms...)

There should be a better cocktail offering. The choice is quite limited if you'd like to have a drink at the bar, and I was told they could not arrange custom (simple, like a whiskey sour) requests

Everything about the hotel was exceptional, location, reception staff, food, wine, extensive grounds that are very well designed for exploring.

We were travelling with our pet dog who is nervous of new places so cannot be left alone and as the hotel does not allow pets in the restaurants we elected to have room service, which was delightful and a good option as we had travelled over 400 miles and needed an early night!

Staff is very friendly and nice. Also very dog friendly.

We have stayed many times and the staff are very nice. They have changed to breakfast and I feel 35 is too expensive for what was on offer. There were small portions of ready made scrambled eggs that were dry. A few pieces of fish but no smoked salmon for example. Compared to other hotel breakfasts in this range I felt it wasn’t very good. I felt the cappuccino came from a machine and not hand made. The shower gel was empty and the tap in the shower didn’t work properly. It only ran hot water and it couldn’t be turned down. They have a new spa which unfortunately I couldn’t try as I didn’t have a bathing suit. Unfortunately they don’t have any for sale which I think would be a good idea.
