Our arrival in France was delayed by French boarder control shutting half the passport control booths at Folkestone LeShuttle (on bank holiday Friday evening!?!) so we were going to be 45 minutes late for the last check in time. The reception monsieur stayed open for us though. Great service. We had no way of contacting the hotel so went on the off-chance it might be possible to get in, otherwise…well we had no options. As I say, great service!

Nothing. All great. Not somewhere you’d stay for a week but as a stopover it’s perfect. Far enough from Calais to be a bit French. But near enough to make it possible for a late ferry/shuttle stopover.

I stayed in the hotel to watch the Grand Depart of the TDF. It was a perfect base for the 4days. The hotel was located on a busy commercial area next to a range of restaurants and retail outlets and had its own private car park. The room was quite large with a separate bath/shower/wc. Whilst it was a bit dated it was perfectly fine for my stay. With a good buffet style breakfast included in the price, overall it was extremely good value.

The bathroom was a bit dated and was in need of a refresh.

Suite was set up fantastically with separate sleeping areas for us and teenage son. Bathroom and toilet were separate and water pressure was fantastic with both bath and shower. Full fridge in room was an added bonus. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Breakfast had variety of pastries, cereal, boiled eggs and cold meats, teas, coffee and fruit juices. Plenty of parking onsite. Checked in online before hand and quick key drop for checkout.

No kettle in the room (only in lobby) and air con in room wasn’t working so we’d left the windows open as it was hot and were woken by a football match going on at 1am outside the bowling alley next door.

Very close to several good restaurants, secure and ample parking, close to A26 good distance from Calais if you wish to stay soon after entering france or close before leaving. Very good value as it included breakfast. Staff helpful polite and very friendly. Rooms not the biggest but more than adequate for an overnight stay. We would definitely stay again

It was very hot outside and the ventilation system was not up to the task of keeping the room cool but with the window open it did get cooler during the night

On an industrial estate close by to multiple restaurants and no drama driving through busy towns. Free car park. Free cold water and tea/coffee making facilities in the reception area. Plentiful free breakfast, including freshly squeezed orange. The bed was very comfortable and the lift worked. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly

Nothing major and to be fair, for the price was an absolute value for money option

Around 55 minutes from car ferry in Calais, convenient for a night if your ferry is in the morning. Rooms are small but comfortable. Bedsheets were clean and fresh, and the bed was super comfy. Bar was open until late and had a good selection of drinks. Staff was friendly. Free tea, coffee and filtered water. Free parking. Dog friendly.

It would be nice to have some tomatoes or cucumbers with breakfast.

It's a great location, we used it often as have family in the area and it's close to main road network. We also like the Italian restaurant close by so after a day of driving etc we can park up and just walk somewhere for a really nice meal. The facilities are very good, always clean and well maintained, the beds are very comfortable and there's a good choice at breakfast.

Nothing to dislike

Great value for money. Handy over night on long drive with secure parking. Breakfast included a nice range of items and again amazing to be included in the price. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms weren’t anything special but for the price we didn’t expect anything different. Comfortable and clean. Just looked a little like halls/student accom.

Great location for what we needed, clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and breakfast was very good. Great fresh selection and plenty of variety.

Stupid stand out piece of wall where headboard should be, which you keep hitting your head on. Bathroom small and ridiculous place to put the toilet roll holder, break your neck to get to it. Awful views from side windows, some hooks to hang your coat would be nice. Not one of the so called Ibis style around.

excellent value for money, secure private parking (with gate closing at 10PM), nearby restaurants within walking distance, clean and comfortable rooms, elevator, decent, very good quality & fresh breakfast choices (included), helpful staff, bar for drinks
