I was attending a conference and was happy that the hotel was only a few blocks from the conference center. The staff was always friendly, polite and efficient. I enjoyed the dinner I had in the restaurant, as well as the breakfasts I had each day.

The only minor negatives were about my room. (1) There weren't appropriate drawers for folded clothes. (2) It was difficult to control the temperature in the room, so I left the system off which wasn't ideal. (3) The way that the bathroom door opened up against the bed was inconvenient - especially if I needed to use the bathroom during the night. (4) I felt that more lights were needed in the room.

Hotel is located in a very good location, both in regards to old city and modes of transportation. To me, the hotel is somewhat generic but that makes it predictable. Staff was so lovely and smiling, they took our luggage and we could go and explore. Hotel breakfast was good and one can expect all the ordinary items.

The room was a bit too cold and operating heating/cooling device was a bit tricky. Mattress was great but I wasn't fond of pillows, they were a bit too soft for my personal taste. That doesn't mean that it was really bad thing.

everything was clean and nice. The room was quiet. I could easily sleep at night. The bathroom was also very clean. Bed was nice and comfortable. If I wanted I could even get softer pillows at the reception desk, but the ones I got were already good enough. I feel asleep easily, which is usually not the case, so that is a big positive point for the hotel.

The room was a bit small. I didn't really mind it. For me it was enough space, but this is not the standard I would expect from reputable brand such as Holiday Inn.

Staff was friendly, polite and professional. Breakfast was excellent. I asked for breakfast on the go for my last day because of an early departure and they were very generous. They gave us so much food!

The room and bathroom are on the very small side. I think they should do housekeeping more often, like one day yes and one day no, or at least every 2 days. Every 3 days is too long and you are obliged to go ask for more toilet paper or towels.

room was good, spacious and clean. breakfast was pricey but a wonderful spread. as someone travelling for work, would have appreciated ala carte options for breakfast as i don't have time to sit and enjoy buffet breakfast - so i felt that was lacking, especially when the nearest bakery was about 10 min walk away.

WiFi could have been better, as a business traveller, i had a phone and a laptop, but the free WiFi only allowed 1 device and I couldn't switch devices. that's not good.

From the time we arrived until we left we received excellent service. We had secure parking. Reception was done quickly but time was taken to answer several questions with both staff members. The room was just what was needed and clean. Restaurant food and service was excellent. The breakfast was the best we had on a two week trip. The hotel is reasonably priced for its central location. I will return.

Clean and modern room. Bed was very comfortable. Mini-fridge in the room is a plus. Location is very good, only 5 min to Zwinger and the starting point of the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus. Restaurants and city center only 10 min walking. It is also possible to rent a bike at the hotel. Good and tasty Breakfast with a big variety of different foods. Hotel has an onsite parking, but it is also possible to park on the street for 6€/day.

Room (and bathroom) was slightly small for 2 persons with 2 luggages.

It was clean and in a good location. The night receptionist was very friendly, and the hotel accommodated my request for a higher floor. I appreciated the kettle and coffee, storage space, and Dove products. I did not make use of the TV nor heated towel rack, but it was nice to know that they were available for use.

Since I was in a room facing the street, I could hear the loud trams passing by all night, even with the windows closed. However, closing the bathroom door on my second night helped block the noise. When I arrived late the first night, I noticed that water was available in the lobby - however, it would have been even better if complimentary water in the lobby was available for guests all the time.

We were within walking distance of several grocery stores and very close to many of the attractions we wanted to see in Dresden

The only complaint I have as an American is that there was only a minimal amount of ice available. This was true of almost all of our stays in Europe. Other than that this is a great place to stay.

Great location and friendly stuff. On site restaurant and bar. We had a pet friendly room and got some water bowls and treat for a dog. Cleaning everyday Breakfast was 19€ per person

Bed was really small. 20€ per day for a dog is the most we payed in that part of Germany
