Breakfast very beautifully presented. There was a bit of a wait but the effort in presentation made up for that.

Just 2 small points -first coffee fine - when I requested a second coffee (Americano with cold oat milk) the person serving put the milk in , then brought the coffee- would have preferred to do this myself as not a fan of milky coffee and there was too much milk.i didn’t want to say as everything else was lovely. Secondly there were lots of tables free but I was told where to sit- was very close to table of four - impossible not to hear every moment of conversation and it was a bit intrusive. Probably for them too.

An independent hotel with a nice atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, good sized rooms and a good location with sea views. Beds are king size and comfortable. We had a top floor room in the eaves, but plenty of room still and good views along the coast with a good sized en-suite with shower. The bar had a nice atmosphere in the evening, we didn't eat there as visiting relatives.

As next to a main road there is traffic noise until late evening but it wasn't intrusive. Parking is limited and tight for space in a large car, reserve in advance. There is free on road parking around but it's busy so probably a short walk away, or a large paid car park across the road on the green.

Lovely big room with sea view. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We felt like valued customers. Breakfast was really good, we both had the full English which was delicious A+ ! Comfortable and quiet stay, we would happily stay again. Thankyou.

Small things like glasses/water jug in the room would have been expected, really if no bottled water is available ( we totally understand about maybe not wanting to provide single use plastic) Kettle also didn't fit under the tap!

The room was spacious and clean, staff were all lovely and the sea view was great. I was due an operation nearby the morning after my stay and had crutches with me in readiness. I advised the lady that I would be ok with stairs but she still moved me from a third floor room to a first floor room which I thought was a really kind gesture. I had a lovely evening meal during my stay too. Unfortunately I'd not be able to rate breakfasts as I wasn't allowed to eat.

Lovely staff nice room so dog freindly they loved it clean large bed great place to stop yes I would recommend it and if I am in the area again I would 100% stay there loved it

Menu was overpriced food was basic and not varied enough I asked for garlic bread it was 2 rounds of toast with garlic butter spread over it and cost £4 a small bowl off spaghetti bolognese with hardly any sauce and tasteless cost £14 .The second day we asked for coffee sachets milk and sugar as we only had 4 the day before we asked again the 3rd day and none were left so had to go the shop opposite to buy some when we returned to our room at 9pm on the 3rd night

Very friendly polite staff , very welcoming warm hospitality, very clean comfortable property great. Roof terrace I loved every bit of it. I’m 100% coming bk with my wife children , lovely fresh food very nice like to thank young lady went make sofa bed for my friend what a very lovely young lady a credit to your establishment- young man helped me sort out parking and owners and rest of staff everyone was great . I stayed for one night and had one of the cheapest rooms. On arrival, i was booked in and shown to my room right at the top of the property. The room was really nice and comfortable my only complaint was that it was cold. Ps had an absolutely brilliant fish and chips best I have eaten for a long time.

The bar staff were very attentive and helpful. The food was very good as well.

The view in the morning was amazing, sunrise over the water. calm surroundings dispite the main road just outside the door.

The bed was like sleeping on a rock, it could very well just be me, but next time i would have to come up with a solution so i could sleep better stairs was very steep and narrow and not very kids friendly if someone was to stay there with kids

The staff were exceptional, especially the young female manager. Outstanding customer care, attentive, attention to detail and really helpful. Right on the beach front. Food was great too, again exceptional service, despite there being a large function in the main dining room. Garden is large and dogs are welcome. Lots of parking immediately opposite.

A little tired looking in places. Wobbly shower door, slightly wonky velux blind tended to pop open. Very steep stairs (we were right up in the roof, though the room itself was great). A bit noisy due to traffic noise, but was v warm and we slept with all the windows open.

Sunny bright room at the top of the building. Very clean and good quality linen, towels etc. Very helpful staff.

This is a pub with rooms and although the pub, bar restaurant areas are good, the entrance to the "hotel" rooms is dark and shabby. It doesn't give a very favourable first impression.
