The lobby and rooms are lovely, Breakfast was easy and yummy for our whole family. It is still loud outside at night despite not being on the square and it being overnight into Sunday. All of our Greek rentals were like this. Easy check in, stocked bathrooms, extra pillows and comfortable beds. Walkable a few blocks to the Square in one direction and in the other to the Statue of Leonidas and community track for kids and adults to play and exercise. Check out the mosaic studio on the other side of the street!

I did not like that the heat was still on so when we tried to adjust the room temperature it got hotter (we were there in May). Staff did not tell us this. The parking in front of the hotel has been under construction so know that you will likely be finding street parking and bring in your luggage. Pool is nice but staff asked my children not to jump in (we were only ones there) and you aren't allowed to consume "outside" food or drink in public. They told me this about my coffee at the pool.

Nothing annoying. Works prevent comfortable parking, unloading/loading luggage. Bed structure/built was average quality

Really nice hotel, with excellent staff (Alexandra was great!)! Since we came here by bus, the staff was extremelly helpful with bus tickets reservation and very useful tips, and we had even a late check-out. Breakfast was also good and the location is perfect - right in the centre of Sparti, with a nice walk to the restaurants close-by and the historical sights.

The location and proximity to everything. The room was very nice and we had a small balcony that we weren’t expecting. The staff was very attentive and always greeting us. The breakfast buffet was very convenient. The food and drinks here was good.

One of the days we were there the pool was closed from 12-6 for cleaning and closed at 7 but when we got to the pool it had toilet papa we and gloves in it, not quite sure what they were cleaning because it was still dirty.

Waitress at breakfast and male receptionist (mother and son?) were wonderful. Very professional and friendly. They are fantastic staff.

Breakfast not great. No toaster, too much cheese and cake. Not enough breakfast food like fruit and tomatoes and mushrooms. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Air conditioning was impossible to adjust, so room very stuffy.

I really liked my trip at Sparte and Menelaion hotel was a great place to stay. The breakfast was really good, very nice hotel and bedroom. Next time I come to Sparte, I will definitely book here again and maybe take time to try the swimming pool!

Old bathroom, but clean and does the job.

The staff was wonderful, attentive and friendly, and more than helpful when we were challenged with maps and itineraries hampered by the language barrier. They helped us park on the very busy street, right in front of the hotel. The rooms were so comfortable, quiet, and private; the luxurious hot baths were much appreciated by our traveling crew after our long drive. The breakfast was a feast of local cheeses, breads and meats, sweet and savory, fresh made jams, pastries, yoghurt and cereal…etc. : fabulous!

Unfortunately the lovely outdoor pool (nestled in the garden courtyard) was not heated, so this November travel group couldn’t enjoy this luxury.

The room was spacious, the bathroom was set up nicely. We had a balcony we weren’t expecting which was nice. We also loved the pool, every one that worked here was very nice and were able to answer all of our questions.

The wifi was down the afternoon when we got there which was not a problem but even when it came back up it didn’t work. The tv was also all French, German, and Spanish channels. No Greek or English.

Check in was quick and efficient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious. Location was exceptional.

Unfortunately there is currently street construction in front of the property which makes access and parking a little difficult but still manageable.

Elena!! She was genuinely friendly and accommodating to our needs. Best staff member by far!

Breakfast is of somewhat limited quantity and quality (perhaps because we attended during the low season)
