The breakfast had a lot of variety. The Hotel is centrally located and all tours start from nearby places, within 500 meters radius. The rooms were very clean. There was no electric kettle in my room and i am used to having warm water. I had to request it in the reception. One lady denied it. Later a gentleman at reception took down my request and helped me with a kettle the very next morning.

The lady at reception who denied my request for the kettle was very rude. She said we dont provide electric kettle in the room. I had few other family members occupying a different room, but they had a kettle and tea/coffee set up in their room.

the central location of the hotel was a perfect starting point for alle places of interest with the optimal connection to the bus network and airport transfer. The breakfast offers good variety. The staff was friendly and ready to help.

The room was not cleaned well-enough with dust flying around. The coffee maker in the breakfast area was broken and you could get only filter coffee. There is only one elevator, which was constantly busy. I had a room at the third floor, it was no issue to use the stairs, otherwise it could be a handicap. These are still minor things, which partially can be improved. The advantages overweight and I would book this hotel again.

Room was good, as expected and described when we booked it. Breakfast was also good with a lot of options to chose. Friendly staff, all of them. The location is very good, super close to the main street and to all meeting points for the activities. Room heating working properly and easy to manage.

They do not clean the room unless you request them to do so in advance and specifically. We were aware the second day when we realized there was a note in the room informing about this hotel policy (we didn´t read earlier as we though it was the usual note for pillow selection or similar). They should inform you about this policy when doing the check-in and not informing via note, that way you can decide what you prefer from the first day. The entrance had usually snow and ice which didn´t happen in other shops/hotels. It is risky for hotel guests and also for other people walking down the street.

The hotel was located in the centre of Tromso and is in close walking distance to all local amenities. The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. Our room was on one of the higher levels, so we had beautiful views overlooking the Fjord. As part of our booking we had breakfast included, which featured a vast display of different foods including cereals, cheese, meats, bread, eggs, fruit etc. and a number of juices you could choose from. The breakfast was ok, it probably wasn’t the tastiest I’ve had but good nonetheless. The hotel also had a baggage room located downstairs which had CCTV cameras (I believe) however it wasn’t a secure room so to say - you didn’t have to insert a code to get in, pretty much anyone could walk down there and place their bags. Nonetheless, it was a great hotel and I’d definitely recommend!

Very pretty views of the city! The staff was also very accomodating to providing us an early breakfast so we could eat before our flight- which was super helpful!

The rooms were a bit loud from the noise of the streets (we were there on a saturday evening). ALSO we had requested a taxi for 6:30 the next morning, and the hotel staff insisted we just come down in the morning and call one then (they should only take 5 minutes was stated). We ended up having to flag one down on the street that was randomly driving by, and the taxi I had ordered called me stating their arrival at the hotel once we were already sitting at our gate at the airport (aka if we had waited for that taxi we would have missed our flight). Thinking the taxi assurance/process could be a bit better.

The location was perfect. Next to a Hard Rock Cafe, 3 minutes walk to supermarket, 5 minutes walk to tourist information for booking and meeting point to different tours, 5 minutes walk to city center and lits of restaurants and cafes. Shuttle bus to airport in front of the hotel. Same for the city bus station network. The room was large, the beds were comfortable. It was always warm, floor heating system. We didn’t want to pay extra for the view, and I regretted after, because we spent some time inside due to a lot of snowing. The breakfast was vey good. Many variants. I really liked the interior of the place. You can choose to have your room cleaned evey day or every other day.

I do not have complaints.

Great variety of options for breakfast; even the option to prepare some breakfast-to-go in case you had to leave early in the morning while the restaurant was not serving breakfast yet. Great location and easily accessible from the airport by bus or by taxi (15 min). The bus stop is right outside of the hotel entrance. The stuff was very kind and helpful. Our hotel room was very spacious. I liked the fact that there was a sofa and a mini fridge as well in the room.

On arrival, we were asked by the receptionist whether we would like to have our room cleaned every other day or every day. We chose every other day. However, the rubbish from our room were picked up 3/4 days (no idea why it was not picked the day before we left) and the towels were not changed at all. We also found the room very hot, especially during the night. The duvet didn't help. We had switched off the radiator of the room but we think some heat was definitely coming out in the room somehow. The thermostat of the room was set at 27C but we could not control that.

Good warm comfortable room and cozy beds. Was given a room with good view on 6th floor. I was lucky to be able to get some northern lights view from the window. Hotel is located nicely at the end of the main street. Surrounded by restaurants and an asian grocery store is just a stone throw away. If you are keen to save a little bit of airport transfer money, the bus number 42, less than 100m away from the hotel brings you to the airport.

Surprised to see that there was no water boiler in the room. But there are complimentary free coffee/tea/hot water beside the reception counter.

Lovely new, clean room suitable for our family of four. Beds were so comfortable and the showers were hot with great pressure. Staff were super friendly and helpful and the breakfast was amazing, one of the best I’ve had at any hotel. Breakfast runs late too, to accommodate guests who have been out late seeking the northern lights. We had an early flight out and there was a mini buffet with items that you could eat in the foyer or take to-go, which was greatly appreciated.

The room was quite warm and you couldn’t seem to adjust the temperature but you could open the window to let fresh air in so it was ok. Very hot when you woke in the morning though.

Staff were incredibly friendly, unbeatable location in town, and the room was huge! Felt like an apartment. Loved my stay here.

Bathrooms are a little old-school. And having to opt-in for room cleaning is just a really sad way for this hotel chain to save costs under the guise of pushing an environmental agenda (fun fact: they first invented the whole, 'reuse your towels or put them on the floor' that they do in all hotels now).
