Lovely rooms in a serene setting. The Host took into our request to have our two family rooms together. The breakfast was amazing and the Chef was able to accommodate my daughter’s vegetarian diet. As well as being able to see the horses, we had access to a lovely lounge with telescope.

There are no shops or restaurants nearby - so you need to eat dinner before arriving. However, the remoteness does make it very quiet and removes light pollution!

We stayed in one of the cottages. It had everything we needed to prep meals and complementary coffee and tea. You get a lot of privacy and can watch the horses from your window! Even when you get the peaceful feeling of being "in the middle of nowhere," you are actually 10 minutes away from a well-provided supermarket and other shops. Perfect location to explore the South Coast! You can access the lounge in the guest house which is a really nice place with beautiful views! We only interacted with the two Spanish ladies that prepare the breakfast, they were super nice and made my daughter a delicious waffle even when we did not have breakfast included :) 100% recommend.

Just to say something: the pillows were a little soft and there was only one per bed. More than one would have been nice.

Everything was lovely — the room was spacious, cosy, and the bed very comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was abundant and varied. The location on a ranch with Icelandic horses made the stay even more special. Exceeded expectations.

The only downside was that we mistakenly thought our room had access to a kitchen; there’s no common kitchen or microwave, so you need to drive to the nearby town for dinner — but it wasn’t a big issue.

Even greater than expected, everything was of very high construction quality, very spacious room, also a spacious shower in the private bathroom, giant bed, very practical arrangement of all the things. Felt like a 4 star hotel, except that this place is in the middle of nowhere (which is a very positive thing, everything super quiet and you're close to nature). Good variety of breakfast, flexible check in and check out. Good self adjustable heating.

Lovely, modern, well-equipped cottage - the dishwasher and washing machine were a bonus! Beautiful, quiet location, with horses in the surrounding fields. The cottage was spotlessly clean. Beds were very comfortable too. Very easy self check in. Would definitely stay here again

Nothing really, although would recommend taking the 266 road (to Oddi) from the ring road as the other road is mainly gravel and can be a bit slow

The two staff from Malaga were exceptional. They showed us the stable and around the property. The lounge was beautiful.

There were no outlets by the bed and it was stuffy. Window in bedroom didn’t open. Mirror in bathroom jutted out over sink so it was almost unusable. Baby high chair and broom are out in open in kitchen and not in a closet making eating area unsightly.

Communication before our arrival was excellent. We were checking out early the next morning, before breakfast was served so they prepared a breakfast for us to go, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated! The self check in very useful because it doesnt put a time pressure on when you have to arrive. The communal lounge area is rustic and tasteful. Loved that they provide a proper coffee machine! The shared bathroom was perfectly clean.

Just an observation, they provide bathrobes but no towels. It was fine because we had our own, but just something for other travellers to be aware of. Beautiful rural location but just again for awareness, access is via a grit road. If I was going to make a suggestion, I'd ask for a heated towel rail in the bathroom :)

We stayed in the junior suite and absolutely loved it. The property was conveniently situated with beautiful views all around. It was exceptionally clean with comfortable bed. Breakfast had a good selection to fit all tastes and staff were very friendly and helpful. Being able to visit horses at the stables was an additional charm to the place.

The host (Stella) was very friendly, informative, approachable The room was a good size. The facilities were very well appointed./ decorated. The upstairs lounge room was huge, with very comfortable lounges and a lovely outlook. Breakfast was good, a great way to start the day.. The facility is on a working horse stud, a fantastic bonus to see the horses.

It is a distance from restaurants, when there are no cooking facilities available. The bathroom, while spacious and lovely, could do with more light.

We booked the 2 cottages which are basically containers. However, once inside you forget about it as it seems cozy and modern. It was very cleaned and there was a lot of heaters so it quickly became warm. Kitchen has basic equipment enough to prepare simple things, I particularly appreciated that there was a dishwasher. The stables were the best part of the experience, so many horses, some of them let you get close to them, loved it!

Some small maintenance is maybe needed in cottage 2, nothing major. Mattresses could be improved. Although it is written that stables can be visited anytime, it is really hard to find the entrance. I would have appreciated more instructions and also maybe some guidelines on how to behave with the horses as some people might be bothering the animals. Feels a bit hard to reach out to someone as we didn't see any of the staff. They still quickly get back to you via message though.
