This stay was above and beyond our expectations. The apartment was very spacious, well equipped, clean, and comfortable. We loved seeing the horses and cows and the rural setting was exactly what we wanted. Being fairly near to a town also made it very easy to stock up or eat out as we preferred. The host was very responsive and access was extremely easy for check in and check out. We didn't see many people around and anyone we passed was very friendly and courteous. We also got a nice visit from a resident dog whom we really enjoyed petting! I loved everything about my visit to Iceland and this place still managed to be a highlight. I plan to return to this beautiful country as soon as possible and will absolutely be staying here when the time comes!

I understand being a farm that flies are going to be very present, having a fly swatter or similar would be nice but slippers worked well in their absence!

The best stay of our Iceland trip. I came back here after 8 years yet again. I love the farm life around this property, which has a super friendly dog as well. You get to enjoy the sheep and the horses around and can even buy farm products like milk and meat The place is away from any major city and slightly off the ring road but still very well connected by a well-maintained road. This is not very far from Reykjavik, so makes for a perfect stay on your first or the last day of a roadtrip. Just rent a car in Reykjavik and head here in 2 hours. This is also located very close to Seljalandsfoss. Also, a perfect place to enjoy northern lights. Don’t even need to go out anywhere, just enjoy from the property without any light pollution. We got the best view

Lovely staff who were responsive via the app and one of the workers, Kristin, gave us a tour of the farm when we left, so nice! Good location for exploring the south coast and further East. I enjoyed seeing the horses when I drove in and out of the property. Netflix on the TV is always fantastic. Sufficiently equipped kitchen. Coffee and tea provided.

The garbage system is extremely confusing! Water goes everywhere in the shower due to no cubicle. Noise from upstairs is noticeable.

The location was perfect for me because I was heading to the Westman Islands for a day trip. I so appreciated that Oliver, one of the farmhands, was able to tell me more about the farm and the cows, even showing me the milking area. I did not ask to partake in milking, and my travels didn't allow for the milk/meat that's for sale), but those are apparently options too. My expectations were for a working farm, and with a washer/dryer available, it had everything I wanted/needed. If you set your expectations as Four Seasons, with nary a bug, only then would you be disappointed. I can't think of anything better than watching the midnight sun with horses and sheep out back.

Location was central for south coast towns of Vik, Hvolsvöllur and Selfoss. Apartment was invitingly warm, which was most welcome in the middle of winter. Lovely and peaceful area, ideally located for exploring the nearby beach, which we had to ourselves. Owners were very helpful and easily contactable. They gave us an alert when the aurora happened to be visible too! The ground floor apartment has been setup for wheelchair use, with everything in reach. We were invited to to visit the horses and other farm animals which was lovely. Would certainly stay here again.

This is actually a nice farm which has a guest house. Really, really spacious apartment. Big bedroom, good size dining room and kitchen, big bathroom and a big hallway with space to leave your luggage. Free parking at the facility. Very pleasant and peaceful surroundings. Pet friendly - a cute dog met us upon arrival. Lots of horses and cows around. Very nice.

We couldn't lock the door, and later we found out that we had to turn the handle up first to lock it, and because the check-in time was a bit short, we arrived late, but we couldn't contact the landlord immediately. Later, we directly asked the person living next door and he told us which room it was.

Clean,well equipped,very great spot outside the cities,could see northern lights from the farm.Staff very friendly,had to cancel plans due to extreme weather,they showed us around the farm,let us feed and pet the animals,made our time interesting. If you’re looking for a quiet place away from cities this is your spot.Beach is 10 minute drive away.Very strongly recommend.

Our friendly. host,and her dog, and her Intro to the farm's cattle milking process. We chose her farm stay specifically because we grew up on a 200 year-old farm in Central Canada. The kitchen she provided was so well equipped too and we enjoyed stir frying some of the farm's beef we purchased.

A sign at the entrance to the farm would be helpful in finding our way there. No need to change anything else.

Authentic farm experience which is what we wanted. Watched them milk cows (and sampled) and saw a brand new baby calf. Enjoyed all the lessons learned. 2 bedroom apartment has very small couch and is dated. Had to sit in kichen mainly. Farm off beaten path. Go after check in and enjoy the secluded black beach about 15 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay.
