Good, quiet, central location. Fairly large room. Comfy beds and comforters. Good Icelandic breakfast. Friendly staff. It's good to spend the night on the island since most other tourists leave on the last ferry.

The couch in the room was rather uncomfortable. The room could use more horizontal surface for misc things. No luggage rack. Furnishings were a bit dated and spartan. They are updating the rooms and halls.

The hostel is located in the near of the harbor with just a few minutes of walk which makes it super convenient to reach all kinds of living facilities. The room is quite spacious and extremely clean. The neighborhood is also very quiet and peaceful. Although there are not too many staffs, but all of our requests were fulfilled perfectly in time.

We were so tired from our journey, and everyone was very patient with us as we took some time to walk from the ferryport where we had taken a puffin tour and had to bring our bags with us! We would stay there again next time we would come to your beautiful island. We pray that your winter is better this year, although we have had some weather changes, too? Great location with a decent breakfast. Supermarket located next door and super easy to jump over and grab something you need. The main street is also just around the corner so the location is great. The ferry stops really close so you basically don't need to take the car with you.

The soundproofing between rooms are almost none existing. I could hear almost everything people was saying and doing all around me. The TV didn't have any channels, not even the local TV stations.

The staff were very friendly and incredibly helpful. The location was perfect - steps away from the ferry and close to food, tours, and most sites. We didn't take a car and didn't need one. The room was spotless, a good size, and had all amenities we needed. The breakfast was delicious; lots of fruit, pancakes, breads, jellies, meats, etc. Visiting the island was one of the best parts of our visit to Iceland, and staying in this hotel made it an even better choice!

I stayed at the guesthouse with my son, we had a special request for the room due to health issues, and the guesthouse met our request. The location is super, very central. The rooms are big, clean and really comfortable. Definitely staying there again when we visit again.

Fantastic location. You can actually see it from the port. Breakfast was very good. Was not supposed to be available during the time of our stay, but was included since they were full at their sister hostel. Parking was right outside the hotel. Very convenient.

Nothing that I didn't like.

The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was quite comfortable. The location was great - close to the ferry and right in town. The internet worked well. Breakfast was average.

It would have been nice to have some hot options at breakfast - beans, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. There were some pancakes at the start, but they were already cold and no one made more while we were there.

The location is super close to the harbor, making the guesthouse an easy access to the ferry service. The room is simple with few furniture so more spaces for luggage. The hostess suggested me postpone the return ferry to have good breakfast at the guesthouse—it was a right decision.

There are only four parking places in front of the hotel, so I had to park my car far from the hotel due to many parked cars around it. There is no elevator in the guesthouse and the rooms are in second floor or higher, therefore it is not so convenient for travelers with heavy luggage to carry on.

Fabulous location! As soon as we arrived, keys were laid out and rooms were ready for us (even a little before check in time). Rooms were pretty basic, but clean and comfortable. There was a shared refrigerator on our floor which was a nice perk. All in all, if you want a convenient and comfortable place to stay on Heimaey, this is a great choice.
