Pretty much everything I demand in a good hotel room, regardless of price: -clean -comfortable beds, with ample space on both sides for getting in and out - ample floor space for placing luggage - two comfortable room chairs - large flat screen TV, with streaming service capabilities (Netflix, etc. - large dressing mirror in main room (in addition to bathroom mirror) - hair dryer -well-designed bathroom with several towel racks (many places don't have ANY!), plenty of "put space" (countertop space for amenities), good shower, good lighting, toilet paper roll easily accessible when on the toilet (many hotels have it in odd or inconvenient places) - there was a long desk (some places don't have any desk!) with outlets/plugs centrally located on the desk - hot water maker with tea but unfortunately no coffee maker such as a Nespresso machine -refrigerator The hotel had a decent breakfast buffet.
Coffee. The coffee in the buffet was so-so and there was no coffee maker in the room. Only "instant" coffee, which isn't really coffee. No in-room safe.

A very nice hotel in central location – it was easy to get to everything. I was lucky enough to have a great view from the window of both volcanoes. It was great to have the spa area with hot tubs. Breakfast was great and the service was very friendly throughout my stay. Would happily stay here again.
I don’t think there was anything that I didn’t like. As we were lucky enough to have fantastic weather, I did find that going into my room. It felt like a sauna with the sun beating through the window so I had to keep the curtains closed during the day, but that was the only slight negative – and in Iceland you can never count having too much sunshine as a negative!!

The hotel was located in the center of this quaint small town and walkability was great. Facility and room was modern and clean. Staff was very nice and helpful. Parking was available across the street.
Just a very minor point here. Breakfast could have been better. Coffee was warm. The food warmer was also broke and eggs and bacon were left out to get cold and not good to eat. There were lots of other light options available so we did not starve or anything.

About this hotel I can tell a story, When I made the reservation I didn't realize that it is not located on the main island. Then it was necessary to arrange transportation by Ferry. If I was asked if it was worth visiting, I would say yes, 100%. The whole location is wonderful. The history of the island, the locals, the puffin sanctuary, the rituals of the locals with the puffin chicks, everything is worth it!
I don't know if there was anything I didn't like. Maybe the Ferry was full?

Modern and clean rooms with nice little extras such as shampoo and shower gel. The self serve breakfast had a good selection. Use of sauna and hot tubs was welcome. Whilst the town isnt very big the location to all the amenities of the hotel was great literally minutes away. Ample Free parking opposite the hotel.
Nothing everything was great

The small room was tidy, the staff was friendly, and the location was excellent for us to come and go either in our rental car or by foot around town. Having breakfast included was an unexpected bonus that made mornings easier.
The only thing that wasn’t great - and we found this all around Iceland - was the lack of blackout curtains for when the sun is up so many hours of the day and night. Curtains were okay, they just didn’t cover everything fully.

Located in central Vestmannaeyjar, just a short distance from the Ferry terminal. They had a very nice breakfast with lots of hot options. Elevators made getting to rooms on 4th floor a breeze.
Hotel name signage could have been a little lower on the building, as we missed seeing it the first time around. Otherwise, all was fine.

The Vestmannaeyja hotel is just lovely. Very well organised, everything you need for a short or longer stay is available in the room and they offer some breathtaking views to the main attractions of the island from most hotel rooms. Very polite and laid back staff too!
Nothing, it is one of my favourite hotels in Iceland.

Great location with an awesome view of the Volcanic landscape from our hotel window. Staff was super nice and the hot tubs wonderful. The restaurant has probably seen better days, the decor and menus were all a bit tired - maybe a case for Gordon Ramsay's kitchen makeover program. But we really loved it overall.
See above.

The hotel was very modern and comfortable. We only stayed 1 day, and did not use the spa facilities, although they were part of the offer. The breakfast was the normal continental and well done. We enjoyed our stay. Staff were helpful when we had a question. Bathroom was lovely. Even had bathrobes for the spa use.
Nothing.
