The location to some of the waterfalls we wanted to see was excellent.

Everything was done over email or the phone, and the phone can be a challenge on an esim. It's nice to be able to talk to someone in person if you have any issues. We called from a restaurant and were offered a cabin instead of a room with 3 beds in the guest house, which was nice. However, the cabin hadn't been cleaned yet when we arrived at 6:30 pm. Apparently a big group that was there earlier didn't check out until 4. We could tell the cleaning staff wasn't pleased. And we appreciated the upgrade to the cabin but the bedroom was very tiny. We had wanted 3 separate beds and the bedroom just had one larger bed so my two older sons had to sleep in the same bed, which wasn't ideal. But we did like the location and it was nice to have our own space.

As a stopover on the route it is good. The rooms were clean, warm. The showers worked well. There are kitchen facilities upstairs. There is a Space invaders old video game and the TV works. The coffee machine works. The sofa is comfortable. Its a cheap and cheerful stopover for the night, NOT a hotel. If you want a hotel, go to a hotel. Yes I would stay again. Check your email for the room code.

You need to either eat before you stay or bring food to cook as your in the middle of the countryside. Be careful on the stairs, its steep. The door handles need fixing and don't get locked out with the key inside lol.

We stayed at Welcome Edinborg during our Iceland trip and were impressed by its unique charm! Nestled along the Ring Road, it’s a peaceful retreat with a cozy, authentic vibe—perfect for resting amidst Iceland’s wild beauty. The rooms were comfy, and the mountain views were stunning.

The only downside was that the bathroom was already soaking wet on arrival, and we had to dry the bath mat on the radiator—but it didn’t dampen our overall experience.

The common kitchen is adequately and properly outfitted. There is a coffee machine whereas coffee is free. A toster, microwave, 2 fridges and 2 little stowes. Joint living area is cosy and comfortable . Rooms are a bit small but clean and warm.

Before our arrival I've send , day upon day , 2 questions. No answer. There is a phone for contact when you enter the building but we didn't need to use it bec our key code worked .

We expected something dirty and very loud, but it was different. The key for access was provided 2 days upfront, so access to our room was easy. The room itself has limited space, but was suffcient for all our laguage, The bed was okay and using ear protection I could really sleep well. Having a private bathroom was also what we wanted and we could use. The nearby hot pool was also a nice addition, which we liked

The shower has very limited space, which was inconvinient, my wife moaned a lot more about this, so it is dependent from your needs.

Not fancy at all. Tiny little room and bathroom, but clean, comfortable, and very quiet. They also had an upstairs that had a kitchen where you could get coffee, refill your water, or do some light cooking or reheat a meal.

It was perfect for what we needed.

It is great to have bathroom in your room for this price in Iceland. Very clean hostel under glacier. Not far away from Skogafoss

Bathrom is very small and room is no big but I have no problem with it. It can be much worse in Iceland

The rooms were comfy and cozy. The kitchen/common area totally exceeded our expectations - we didn’t realize this space was part of the property at all, so that was a welcome surprise. The location was amazing, we were able to see the northern lights from right behind the building, and it was in close proximity to other beautiful sights.

Great localization, very comfortable beds, coffee machine and kitchen available. Spacious living room with TV set and pooltable

The bathroom was really claustrophobic and you had to be really careful not to hit your head to the ceiling. Check in only available till 9pm although there is no-one present on the facility- you have to make a call on the arrival and you get the code to the door on the phone.
