We were in apartment 101 - seemed newly refurbished, well-appointed. Furnishings, rooms and bed were comfortable and we slept well both nights of our stay. The bathroom was large, clean and well-equipped. Used the towel warmer to dry our rain-soaked gear. We used the kitchen extensively (induction cooktop, kettle, refrigerator, cutlery, utensils, pots and pans) to prepare simple dinners both nights. Easy walk from the ferry, to town and to most attractions on the island. No need for a car even though free parking was included.

Not much. The kitchen hot water took a long time to heat up, it never got hot enough for typical kitchen use. Not within the lodging's control, but someone in a neighboring building was yelling angrily at someone else for 10 minutes when we got into the apartment. It was very unnerving. We were glad it didn't happen again during our 2-night stay.

The layout of the apartment is good, the common lounge-area downstairs is a great bonus, the location is very central. The access to the huge patio was a nice feature, especially since the weather was very nice. Super cleanliness, good blackout curtains, efficient noise insulation between apartments.

The check-in intructions were imprecise, Booking.com gave me a code which I assumed was for a key-box but in reality I needed to go to the reception at Hotel Vestmannaeyjar. The central location can mean disturbing noise coming from passersbys at night, which was the case during our stay (Saturday night). The house manual could list where to find the coffee machine, kettle and toaster. At first I thougt these items were missing, but at last I found them in an obscure location, in a high-up cabinet in the kitchen.

Perfect stay for our family of 3 while enjoying the Westman island. The beds were comfortable and blackout blinds worked great during the summer sun. Check in is next door at the hotel. It is within walking distance of all the major attractions shopping and dining. Also has good kitchen if wanting to prepare meals. Parking was provided onsite. It also included laundry you could use free of charge and a sitting area with coffee and ice. This facility seems very new and was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again and missed having to leave.

Really thoughtfully put together little apartment with everything you could need. We especially loved the areas downstairs with all the extra supplies and laundry facilities. Also in a great location and the parking onsite was useful. Was a pleasure to stay here and would’ve been very comfortable for a longer stay.

Not a big deal but the apartment didn’t seem to have been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. There was trash out on the balcony and a large number of empty beer cans in the cupboard above the stove. Everything else was lovely though!

The location is perfect - it is right in the center of the town and you can walk to anything/everything that is going on there or that you might need (groceries, petrol station, book store, cafe/coffee, restaurants, etc.). The room was impeccable and clean, super easy parking, and felt like my own little studio apartment.

The ONLY downside was that the water pressure wasn't super hard and the temperature never got very, very hot - both those are both just personal preferences and didn't affect the overall stay much at all.

The New Post Office is clean, is in a nice location on the island, and has a fully furnished kitchen. The beds were the most comfortable we have stayed in this trip.

The cost was high. The attached PDF file of check in location instructions were wrong and when they sent instructions on the map, the location was poorly marked. Other guests were wandering around trying to find the door as well to the area of check-in. We found it together after asking a local person.

The location in the center is okay. Walking distance from shops and bars / nightlife. Although in the center and there were many guests staying this weekend it was quiet during the night.

The check in information as provided is not up to date. Instead of getting as code to open the door and get the key at the premises, literally written in their messages, there is a sign on the door you have to check in at the next hotel. The kitchen facilities lack logic. A french coffee press without coffee does not make sense. Also no oil to cook. The tap in the sink was loose. We have stayed before in a similar room and have to conclude the price is too high for the quality and services provided.

Location was excellent, but what wouldn't be in town? Rooms were very clean and modern. Good parking. There was a lounge where we could gather and eat takeout. There was a kitchen, fridge, but no microwave. All in all a great value and I'd definitely stay there again. We wish we would have stayed another night!

We had to go next door to the Hotel Vestmannaeyjar to check in, which was fine, but the sign didn't say where it was so we had to look it up. Rooms were tight for four, but we appreciated that it was an option so we could keep our costs down. They didn't have enough bedding and towels so we had to ask reception for more, but it was easy to get more from the supply room. Lounge could have better lighting. All nitpicks for a great stay.

The flat was new and fully furnished. The position was perfect for the trakking on the 2 volcanos of the island. At the same time, in less than 5 minutes you can reach the supermarket.

There is a super tv with disney plus too, but we have not been able to decrease the volume of the same. Maybe some instructions could help people not used to technology. Same for the fun above the kitchen to eliminate the cooking vapours.

Location was excellent! Easy walk to some great restaurants and pubs. Short drive to all the beautiful sights of the island. The apartment was very well appointed and clean. The only issue may be the size of the bedroom. Very little room on each side of the bed, but we managed. Even though there was little room, they managed to have a side table for phone, etc and and outlet on both sides of the bed. Don't hesitate to book!
