The property was amazing. I was a little sceptical reading some of the negative reviews, but I honestly couldn’t fault it. Yes, the hot water runs out if you take a long shower, but you are on an under developed island, that’s the whole point of the location. The view from the room was incredible, photos don’t even do it justice. Staff were extremely helpful, especially Putu - she went above and beyond. We had to leave prior to breakfast starting, and Putu arranged for our breakfast to be prepared and packed as take away for us - we didn’t even have to ask. The location is a little bit further from the handful of shops on the East side of the island, probably around a 15 min walk. With that said, we found the locals and staff were all too happy to give us lifts on their bikes here and there. Overall, highly recommend this accommodation.

There is no door separating the toilet from the room, which I guess could be somewhat uncomfortable for a new couple :)

Great air conditioning, which is always a big plus. The staff went above and beyond to help me coordinate some fun birthday surprises including decorating the whole pool downstairs! There are two pools as well, which is always a plus. The location on the island is closer to the dive shops, which is great for dive-lovers. This is located right off the main road and the included breakfast is great to be able to have before heading out each day. The restaurant is good and the staff is so friendly and attentive.

The room I had did not have a separation between the toilet and the rest of the room, which made for a little bit of an awkward situation with the person I was staying with, however, there is a closed toilet in the main area of the lobby upstairs for emergencies. The infinity pool downstairs is nice but it is located right off a seaweed farm, so the low tides make it look a bit less sightly in certain times of the day or evening (not just ocean water).

Not really a con, but water pressure was low, hot water was extremely hot, and it had to be turned down manually at the heater. Exterior of the place could use some maintenance / repairs due to age and neglect. Decking of pool was lifting up and unstable.

Beautiful view from the waterfront. Pool is in a great location. It’s so nice to hear the ocean and have the water right at your doorstep.

If we weren’t capable of driving a scooter, the location is limiting. Breakfast is average. There is an air conditioning vent in the stairwell as you’re coming up the stairs on the left hand side. Being tall, I hit my head on this VERY hard causing a cut, lump and bleeding. Please cover the sharp cover of this with some foam so anyone that is tall does not have this injury.

Property is beautiful and overlooks the ocean. There is a restaurant and bar that connects with the hotel that makes it really easy to enjoy a meal or a drink. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. The rooms are in a perfect position to enjoy the sunrise over the ocean.

The check in process was not good. On booking.com the check in time said it was 12pm. We were under the impression we could check in once we arrived. We arrived at about 1:15pm, but we’re told that our rooms were not ready, which was fine because we enjoyed a meal at the restaurant, we didn’t enter our rooms until 2:30pm. A more updated time on the website would have made things easier for us as we planned an earlier trip due to the information we had. Also the only way to access your rooms is via stairs. This may be a concern for those that mobility and accessibility issues.

I liked the location. our villas were facing towards the East and we were blessed with a spectacular sunrise every morning. I’ve seen sunrises over the horizon but from behind a mountain range is another story. I would like to highlight one staff, Ditak from reception made our stay and trip so much easier for us. we needed to go to Kelingkling beach and he got us a motorbike for rent and also got some locals to take my girlfriends friend with us. The local boys were nice and made the trip to the beach fun. Furthermore, Ditak was very helpful with advice on best places to visit and he was always attentive and initiative. Overall, all staff were very nice. Even the waitresses at the restaurant. They were very respectful towards me and addressed me in a very polite manner. I work at a luxury hotel in the maldives and being on the receiving end of great service changes your perspective. Speaking of the restaurant, the vanilla milkshake is to die for. I don’t know what they put in it but we loved it haha. For the departure back to Bali, the hotel took care of everything. so I did not need to worry about ferry seats or or a getting an expensive taxi back to the harbor.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. I was happy with the hotel.

Great location in Nusa Penida, the rooms were clean and the service was great throughout our stay. Perfect for a day or two while you're travelling. Our room was next to the pool which was amazing and waking up with an ocean view is breathtaking.

Sadly there was a problem with our booking and we received a different room as booked, not entirely their fault but more so of the person placing the information on Booking.com. We didnt really receive a compensation or apologies, it felt like they put the blame on us for booking the wrong thing. There is no hot water in the room by default, having a huge bath is great but having to order water from downstairs that they'll boil for you beats the purpose of a relaxing bath as it gets cold pretty quickly.

The view from the room was mesmerising and everything was clean and good facilities were given

The only thing that bothered me was the toilet seat in the room. There was no privacy for the toilet as it was in the open right there in the kitchen area!! This is not something very usual !

The restaurant and bar were great and all the food + drinks were very nice and affordable, the pool and poolside view were amazing, and the staff were very helpful and friendly!

The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak, and the hot water didn’t last very long

The property itself was fantastic. Nice spacious rooms. Absolute steal for the price we got them for (we had 3 rooms all up)

The wifi was absolutely terrible. The tv did not work and when we asked staff about it the would brush us off or say they will get someone to come out to the property to fix it (no one ever came)
