The owners are lovely. It's a small hotel and really personal service. The view from the bedroom balcony is beautiful. It is incredibly peaceful. The food in the restaurant is lovely.

The taxi from the train station was expensive in AUD but everything in Switzerland is expensive. If you have your own car it's a stunning location to stay at, high above the the valley.

Location high above the valley was stunning. Hotel situated in a very attractive rural village. Hotel Alpenblick is a family run business. This gave it a personal touch which was a delight to experience. Rooms are compact but modern and attractive.

We only stayed one night and were not able to assess what activities were available in the area. There may be more than was immediately apparent. The stay was relatively expensive, but the sense of exclusivity and the friendliness of the family owners made it a very good deal

A typical small Swiss style countryside hotel. Our room was a large room with minimal yet enough furnitures, completely decorated with lots of wood style and with Perfect balcony watching the surrounding mountains and the valley below. This is a family owned hotel run by the third generation, and has quite a lot of history. Kristof, The hotel manager which is a charming and a very pleasant person, is also the Restaurant Chef, which was a big advantage as and we’ve enjoyed two wonderful and tasteful dinners together with his warm and welcoming hospitality which made us feel at home.

Shower is a bit small. breakfast was very basic and could be improved.. They served fresh tasty bread with local cheeses, some Yogurt and home made jams.. no vegetables and no eggs.

Beds were really comfortable. Views were amazing. Chrisdolph and team were very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there and the-menu was well thought out, delicious and plentiful.

I can’t think of any negatives, only problem we had was we didn’t stay there long enough 😫

Amazing Time!!! One of the most charming hotels I've ever been to! Christoph is a wonderful and very friendly host! He upgraded my room to a double, which was in the front corner and had fabulous views from all the windows! Also, He will let you know about some nice hikes around the quaint little village of Zeneggen! When it's time for dinner, Bernadette will serve you with a smile! 😊 All the staff are kind and helpful! The room was really nice, with plenty of room to stretch out and relax! The balcony was my favorite! Beautiful panoramas of the Alps and village in every direction! You can't get much better than this hotel! Charming in every way!!! Thanks again! 🙂

Cozy place with beautiful panorama on Alps. Room was clean and super comfortable. Breakfast was full of tasty local products ( especially regional cheeses- La gruyere and Raclette or milky yogurt ). Hotel provides also restaurant with local cusine and home made wine ( my favourite - Pinot Noir ). The area around has a lot to offer - my choice was to see Matterhorn from Zermatt. I strongly recommend the hotel.

Gorgeous elevated setting. Quiet. Great value. 3rd generation family business. Home cooked food and home grown/made wine!! Very friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough.

Dated bathrooms

The hotel is wonderfully remote- up a mountain reached by a road of Swiss hairpin bends- which my other half loved. the views of the valley are stunning and the only sounds are cow bells and birdsong. The owners were splendid and patient hosts. we enjoyed their local wine and delicious home cooked food from their restaurant. nothing was too much trouble

A very quiet place a little off the beaten path. Great view. Sometimes hotels do not have swimming pools or elevators or other modern facilities but you can clearly feel the owners are doing their best to make you feel cared for and comfortable
