Pretty much perfect. Old, charming accommodation, modernly redesigned. Communication with the owner went well. Room is clean and lovely overall. Shower was great. Location couldn't have been any better as it's in the middle of the city centre. The owner allowed us to keep our backpacks in the room for a couple of extra hours, for which we're really thankful for.

I hate deducting one grade over this, but if you're a light sleeper, get ear plugs. If the attic room is occupied, you'll hear every movement. We were unfortunate to have a group of teenagers presumably learning Irish tap dancing and Feng Shui (because it felt like they were redesigning the furniture layout) and I had to act like a Karen and text the owner to ask politely to text them to quiet down. They did eventually and it was fine.

Very friendly host! We booked kinda late and in the middle of national holidays, but the host was super responsive and kind! Everything was very good! Super clean and comfy, nice views out of the windows, perfect location, big bed and big bathroom, there was everything you could possibly need. Nice restaurant downstairs which we definitelly would like to try another time. Will definitelly come again!

Good location, waking distance to castle, park and major sights. Traditional building, very nicely renovated and modernized.

Gaining access for check-in was not clear at booking. Although the proprietor left us a message several hours before our arrival, we didn't receive it because we were driving and didn't have wifi. So, we had to telephone the proprietor in order to get access codes. The restaurant was closed due to the season.

Good location for visiting cesis, clean ad comfortable. Good internet service.

Difficulty contacting hotel to check in as there was no answer at the phone number provided at the appointed time, over several tries. Had to eventually ask at a neighboring coffee shop and the store owner contacted someone at the hotel for us. Very hot in our room as the windows did not open. A fan was provided.

Great economy class hotel in a very center of Cesis city. Free street parking nearby. Numerous good restaurants and cafes in a vicinity. Comfortable bed. The room was perfectly tidy and clean.

Noise from the street (it is the main "night life" street in Cesis). As there was no air conditioner in the room, the window had to be kept open. But this may be a problem only for a summer weekend (which was in our case). No elevator to reach the upper floor.

Comfy apartments in authentic building in the midlle of Cesis city. Even coffee machine in room. Everythings was great.

A bit noise place but you can’t expect something else in the middle of the city centre. No air condicioner, light bulb was missing in mirror light.

It was really nice building with history they presented proudly on the corridor walls. Interior was like new and very tastefully decorated. Check in was very easy (over the phone) and early check in was available.

Just 1h parking in the front of the house. Long term and free parking on the streest nearby. Because it was very hot, we missed refrigerator in our room.

A great choice for staying in Cēsis! Vanadzina Maja left the best impressions – everything was impeccably clean, and the location was perfect, right in the city center. The cozy, well-equipped rooms and pleasant atmosphere made me feel at home. Highly recommend!

The location is amazing and the building is nicely renovated. Check-in was very easy and straightforward. We would come back again.

The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner (especially the toilet), and we had some problems with the shower leaking water if we weren't careful, but other than that it was fine.

The rooms are really nicely designed and it’s perfectly located in the nicest street of Cesis. The in House restaurant serves some of the best food in Latvia.

You should know that there is no breakfast with the property, but there are really nice cafès around. Also on hot summer days having no AC in the room is noticeable.
