Everything was just perfect: an amazingly comfortable, mega-sized bed, a fantastic shower with serious water pressure (hallelujah!), and the room had all those little details that personally make me so happy. Great coffee and lovely pampering products both in the room and the bathroom. Extra highlights? • The staff is incredibly friendly. Not that scripted “welcome-madam” kind of politeness, but genuinely warm and kind. • The location is perfect: quiet enough to sleep soundly, but within no time you’re right in the heart of the city. • And the atmosphere: a little bit hip, a little bit zen — exactly the right balance. And then there’s the amazing breakfast, served in a beautiful setting! Honestly, it made me feel like a princess. Honestly, not a single thing let us down — the only downside was having to move on and continue our journey to Tokyo for our next adventure.

Situated in kind of a convention centre/office building in the Bandaijima port area, though not super close to the city centre but it's just 15mins really from JR Niigata Station by car. There's a pier market around the corner underneath and perfect if you plan to visit Sado Island by ferry. Indoor parking very convenient and cost 1000yen/night. There's a 24h sake lounge, an observatory floor with panoramic view of the city, restaurants and shops. The office building the hotel is at actually houses an art museum as well. The quality and room exceeded my expectation for the price I paid compared to many similar city hotels in Japan. Although just a single bed standard room I booked, the big window facing much of the city and the Sea of Japan was quite awesome. Overall cleanliness was great also.

Great location if you’re taking the ferry to Sado or visiting Toki Messe, but not so convenient for walking around town. There is a free observation deck on the 31st floor, and the rooms are all above the 22nd floor and have great views as well. Parking in the underground hotel garage is surprisingly cheap and easy at 1,000 yen a night.

Food options are scarce. The cafe on the observation deck stops food service at 17:00, and the Chinese restaurant on the lobby level is super expensive. You’ll have to drive or walk to eat.

The room was price worth, clean and beautiful view. The check-out staffs were so helpful, especially Bell-girl(?) named Satou-san. She helped me with my luggage. I have this business with the Korean Consulate in the same building in the morning, so I have to deposit(?) my luggage in hotel, and then I need to sent my luggage after because the changing plans and all of these with Satou-san's help. Her work motivations, clearly got me. Will be stay here again in the future.

More a hotel for business/ conference than DIY tourist travellers. Bit of classy feel. Great price. Beautiful view from rooms or better at top floor observation deck. Can park at shared commercial parking below the hotel, allows multiple entry/exit for 1000 yen a day. Spacious room for price. There is a small convenient store on 2nd foor too.

Classy hotel means no microwaves, no washing machines. Rather, restaurants and paid laundry service. Do have to look hard for the hotel name from the car park, but essentially most convenient to just stay at the same level after getting entry ticket from machine i.e. 1st floor car park and you will find a lift to the 3rd floor where hotel lobby is. From there another lift will bring u to rooms. The daily parking vocher allows u to park the car even on checkout day until day ends. No shops other than a couple on 2nd floor and a tourist shop at top floor deck.

The hotel was modern, clean and with amazing views from the top floors of the Befco tower. Breakfast was great, and my kids got up early to maximize their time at the buffet! We had travelled to Sado island and wanted a hotel close to the ferry terminal, this one is great, as it is a 10-15 min walk, all within covered walkways.

There are no food options immediately at the hotel (apart from the hotel's own restaurants). Pia Bandai fish market is a 15 min walk away, all other options require taking a bus or taxi into town.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to get around and explore. The view from my window was stunning – a true highlight of my experience. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, always ready to help with a smile. My room was spotlessly clean, bright, and welcoming, providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

Fatastic location, which holds not only great ocean/ harbor view but also can offer a good walking / jogging course along side with a river / ocean with a quiet neighborhood with very clean air, no fishy smell or diesel smells. Only 2km away from a local beaches with local beach foods and cafes. Also very near, 30 min walk, to the major shopping areas such as Beams and Isetans. Very kind staff.

May be a bit remote from rail way station if you prefer JR or subway transportation. But walking distance less 20mins or taxi, bus options.

Pros: Great view. Excellent breakfast. Early checkin (2:00 pm) and late checkout (11:00 am). Very spacious room, with comfortable lounge chair. A top sheet on the bed, and a huge bathtub. Cons: A long way from the train station (about a 25 min. walk), which is not good if it’s raining. The air in the room is very dry and you can’t open the window, so a humidifier would be helpful.
