Wonderful front desk and cleaning staff! The luggage carts in the lobby were incredibly helpful. The room was much larger than expected and had everything I needed for my stay. The location is conveniently located above Wakoshi station with many shops and restaurants in and around the hotel building. Onsite laundry and the ability to check the availability of the machines via the in-room TV were a major plus. The front desk staff assisted me with forwarding my luggage via Takkyubin.

The bed was terribly uncomfortable as a side sleeper. The mattress was very firm, and fine when sleeping on my back, but I woke up with hip pain if I slept on my side. The pillows could be better.

- The hotel was very clean - The WiFi speed was good - The rooms are cleaned everyday. - The hotel is located right above the Wakoshi station. - Despite being above a train station, it is very quiet. - The area is quite nice with many convenience stores, shops and restaurants around. - Free coffee is available near the reception. - In each floor, there is a small room where you can find a microwave, an ice machine and drinks distributor.

- The hotel is a bit far from Tokyo, it takes over 50 min to go to the main tourist attractions. Subway is almost always crowded so you'll most likely have to stand for over an hour, which can be tough. - The room size is quite small, if you have a large bag you can only open it in the hall. If your bag is larger than the standard size, that might even be difficult. I personally didn't like breakfast. You'll be given tickets for the café on the third floor, which only serves 4 pre-set traditional Japanese menus. There are no continental or sweet options available. Only a main dish, rice, pickled vegetables ..

Very helpful staff. Comfortable and clean hotel. Great Japanese breakfast and good supermarkets and shops nearby. Wakoshi is a pleasant area and is good to have a quiet day there as a break from busy Tokyo CBD. Hotel is above Wakoshi station so easy to find and is a three minute walk from the busy stop to Haneda airport. Umbrellas provided and washing machines, microwaves and free coffee machine 😄

Wakoshi is far from the centre of Tokyo and if you don't speak Japanese it can be hard to navigate the train system. Definitely need an esim or Sim card to find the way around, particularly in Tokyo. The phone shops only sell 12 month Sim cards but the electronics shop above the main Supermarket in Wakoshi sells one month Sim cards. A must have.

Honestly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at! The staff is amazing, so friendly and nice, really helpful, the hotel is situated right above Wakoshi Train Station, which has access to all major Tokyo stations. The housekeeping team is amazing, they have made our room sparkle every single day, replaced all towels and changed the bed, new bottles of water every day. The hotel is placed also on top of Uniqlo and various other restaurants, there is also an incredible bakery on the ground floor, which also has a mini market. There is another non-stop supermarket SEYIU right across the road and a non-stop Lawson. No parking spaces available at the hotel, but right to its left there are 2 parking places, really cheap both of them. The area is very secure and clean, there is also a bus station right in front of the hotel, a police station to the right, a Starbucks underneath, 3 pharmacies and much much more! I cannot honestly recommend this hotel more, it has everything you need!

There is nothing that i disliked

Clean and comfortable room. Excellent shower. Queen size bed was wonderful and much appreciated. Pajamas were perfect. There’s a grocery store across the station that had more selection than the one in the station. Bakery below has delicious coffee and pastries. The salad looked good too. The Uniqlo below the hotel was a nice surprise. Short ride to visit Kawagoe. Be sure to get the all day bus ticket from the information booth in the station for 400¥.

Large bed, large bathroom, largest hotel bathtub I’ve seen. They have a tablet to control lights, the A/C, and an alarm. Everything is new and clean. Great customer service. Free coffee provided in the lobby. It was very affordable - $67 USD or 10,000円 for two people per night including breakfast. So worth it and I miss it. I would stay again if I could.

Breakfast might get a bit redundant if you stay several days. The elevator connecting the hotel to the ground floor can be slow. The toilet paper is probably one nanometer thick. The dryer in the washing machine took three separate runs to fully dry my clothing, requiring me to go to the dryer three times. I wish they had an extended dry option so I could just let it dry completely without restarting it.

The property was clean and easy to find. It’s attached to the subway, which is convenient, as well as a supermarket and bakery, which are both delicious options. There’s a pharmacy across the path and a Family Mart on the way to the subway. The room itself was small, as standard in Japan; however, the pressure in the shower is probably some of the best pressure I’ve ever had in any hotel. I felt safe and the hotel staff was friendly.

I personally didn’t dislike anything about this property; however, if you’re someone that wants to be very close to central Tokyo, this hotel is about a 40 minute subway ride to the city. I chose it because I wanted to stay somewhere a little quieter. This of course is a personal choice and nothing against the hotel in the slightest.

The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the train station, yet remains quiet and very convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores right below the hotel. The staff were truly outstanding — always welcoming and friendly, especially the breakfast team, and they even contacted us after checkout about some important items we had left behind. While the rooms are small with limited storage, the excellent service and location more than make up for it.

Good hotel, it's located on the 4th floor of the Equia Premie building so for those confused at first when leaving the station and following the signs, you need to use the elevator. Equia Premie has a few nice places to do some shopping and eat. You could go to the 2nd floor through the very same elevator connected to the Tobu hotel and go shopping inside uniqlo and immediately get back to drop it off for example. There is a nice bakery on the ground floor if you miss eating bread, it probably gets the craving done. The coin laundry as well as the vending machines inside the hotels can all be paid with IC cards so if you made the good decision to buy a suica/pasmo etc. you do not need to bring 100 yen coins, big plus as this is absolutely not the standard in most hotelsI have been in so far. Be sure to bring a power socket converter though, this hotel only has japan power outlets. Wifi speeds are pretty decent. I capped at around 90Mbps. The area itself isn't that exciting for most people, but Wakoshi is fairly well connected and you could get back to Ikebukuro in about 20-30 minutes, so if you plan to stick around that part of Tokyo this hotel isn't a bad option at all. Small warning to those interested to see the shibazakura in Chichibu also located in Saitama: you will in fact be told to go through Ikebukuro to get there despite both Chichibu and Wako being both in Saitama prefecture.

All I can say is that you need to understand the noise that comes with being located next to a station. Especially do not come during voting election campaign days because those people will be screaming through a megaphone very early in the morning until evening and being on the higher floors will not reduce the noise pollution by much. Bring ear plugs if you plan on sleeping well.

I always choose this hotel when visiting my family in Japan, and it never disappoints. After living abroad for a decade, I'm still amazed by the impeccable Japanese hospitality. The value you get here is unbeatable—spotless rooms, thoughtful touches like complimentary tea and coffee, air purifiers, tablet-controlled lighting, and air conditioning. Plus, it's right above the station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The staff is always polite and welcoming, adding to the overall comfort. I highly recommend it!
