The attendant attempted to mislead us and place us in a standard room after we paid extra for a King room. He then tempted to say that there were no King rooms available We demanded to get what we paid for and he then found a king room This is very unprofessional

Spacious and modern room with large bathroom, modern shower appliances and upmarket soap and body lotion. Reception staff were extremely helpful but the staff serving breakfast less so. Disappointed with the food on offer for breakfast; only two cereals. congealed scrambled egg, and food displayed on hot plate was only lukewarm. It’s a shame there wasn’t more choice of bread. Only full cream and lactose-free milk available. And no orange marmalade!! We were really expecting more from an IHG hotel. Excellent evening meal served by a friendly waiter. Drinks served by pleasant bar staff.

The room was very well decorated. It was cleaned everyday. Once when we returned from our walk, all stuffed animals of my daughter were nicely tucked in the bed :) It was really cute! Also we were with half board and the breakfast and diner were very delicious. The diner wasn’t buffet style as on most places, but you can order whatever you want from the restaurant. As I said very delicious. All the staff that were very nice. The hotel is near metro station with an elevator which was a huge plus for us since we were with a stroller. Also it is on a walking distance to plaza de Espana and other attractions.

Great location, super close to the subway and to the Moncloa station for buses. Lots of shops nearby. Friendly staff and WiFi worked well. Comfy bed. Not far at all from the crowded touristy area of the city.

I wished there was a microwave and cutlery in the room. I had to ask every day for a clean dish and cutlery at the restaurant.

location is great in front of a metro station and bus station ..Aldi and El Corte Ingles supermarket are in front of the hotel too ..many restaurants around for breakfast and for lunch ...many bars around ..walking distance to Downton Gran Via street .. The room is big and comfy ..bathroom is okay..shower is great .. the reception staff is great ..it should be 4 stars really nicer than other 4 stars in madrid

Great location, just near a metro station and lots of places to eat nearby. Room was actually more spacious than I had expected and included all the necessary amenities. I felt that it was very good value for money (given the high prices in Madrid).

Breakfast can be more varied. Room had noise from water flowing down the pipes which can bother people who are sensitive to noise.

Spacious room with great amenities such as clothing iron and espresso machine. Great location - the Arguelles metro station was right next to the hotel, a minute walk. Lots of cute bars and restaurants nearby. It's also a pretty great location if you want to do some shopping without going to the VERY crowded Gran Via. There's a Zara, Mango, el corte ingles, and a bunch of other stores right next to the hotel. The hotel also offers baggage storage which was perfect since we had a 17 o'clock train to catch.

The beds are pretty high - as a 5"2 hobbit that wasn't ideal, but it's a pretty comfy bed. The sofa bed is also spacious and pretty comfortable.

Location was fabulous!!! Its so close to the city center ( walkable distance) and all the shopping you want. The room was a great size too! The staff are great and so are the room amenities. There was a nice Nespresso machine, iron, ironing board and hair dryer. If I had to nit pick- it didn't have a kettle and a exhaust for the bathroom.

There was no kettle in the room, and the bathroom could've used with an exhaust fan. The phone in the room didnt work either.

Great location, fantastic staff, good breakfast, clean and comfortable. The AC works which is a super plus when visiting Madrid in the Summer.

That it was not available for our last night in Madrid... I guess completely sold out, we ended up staying at the RIU hotel and it paled in comparison.

the barman working night treating client very bad , so rude . I have never seen such behavior from the barman , even his colleague barmaid was surprised of his behavior .
