The location was great! The employees were extremely helpful. The facilities were immaculate. There were very nice restaurants within the same block. We enjoyed buying food at the nearby market for lunches and snacks.

The lights were very confusing. There were sensors that would turn lights on/off with motions. However, we could never figure out what switches turned them on/off. In theory having a night light come on as you head for the bathroom sounds like a wonderful safety feature. In reality, having the light turn off while using the bathroom and no amount of hand/foot movement would turn them back on, was disturbing. The “coupon” system for getting a discount for breakfast was weird. Some days you needed it, other days they ran out so we just had to tell them. The hotel itself was very beautiful.

A renovated fairly large room. Good wifi. Very quiet at night. The hotel is quite large, there is a lobby bar, restaurant and other facilities. Overall the hotel had all I needed. I was quite happy with my stay and I will probably come back. Breakfast was OK with a decent (not super amazing though) choice of food and good coffee / tea.

The only issue I encountered was at checkout, when it took such a long time to print out an invoice that I had to leave without it, asking the reception staff to send me the invoice by email. In the end, I got the invoice, but I had to email the hotel.

Room was big, comfortable and clean if a little tired. Very quiet inside the room with little noise from corridors etc and considering hotel is in a busy area no noise from outside. Location great. Busy vibrant area with plenty shops, cafes and bars. Close to Metro if you want to use it and a reasonably short walk to the Palace.

Having booked a hotel with a pool for our 10yr old would have appreciated being informed we had to book a timeslot. half hour periods allowed and just a heads up this pool is in the fitness area and is not necessarily a 'fun' swim for kids. Swimming caps must be worn FYI.

Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the entire property felt brand new. The staff was genuinely some of the kindest and most helpful people. When we arrived, our room wasn’t quite ready, but they immediately offered us a voucher to enjoy a drink at the bar while we waited — such a thoughtful touch! The breakfast was delicious and very complete — definitely worth it. Plus, the location is excellent: great area with shops and restaurants and the metro station is just a short walk away, and there’s a El Corte Inglés supermarket just around the corner. I’ll absolutely be staying here again!

Proximity to metros, shops and shopping malls. The hotel is physically connected to a mall but there is an ongoing construction at present. The room was big and the single beds were bigger than most of the single beds I have ever encountered. The gym is okay. A staff named Gabino was exceptional.

The breakfast was unchanged for the entire week that we were there. The lights in the room would turn on in the middle of the night whilst we were sleeping, and would turn off randomly at times we were awake or moving in the room. The floor board also creaked when we walk every time, adjacent to the toilet A fire alarm went off in our floor and no staff personnel ever came to the floor to inform the guests that it was sorted. One or two guests came down to speak to the staff and relay the information to the rest of the occupants of the floor.

The hotel a few meters away from the center and it is very clean and the rooms are very modern and spacious. The bed is very comfortable and the light in the room is very bright and of modern technology. One thing I like most is that the electricity in the room is not activated with a card like in many other hotels and so I could charge my gadgets even when out.

we were given room 311 which is adjacent to the elevator and the continuous noise of the elevator running up and down is very annoying for light sleepers like me. Also the window insulation was not at its best and a cold draft could be felt most of the time. The hotel is undergoing some renovation and I suggest that works do not start as early as 7.30am.

This hotel is close to Gran Via and has a metro station just a minute's walk away. You can easily walk to several of Madrid's main sights like Templo de Debod and Palacio Real, which makes exploring the city really convenient. The location is quite good for food lovers - you're surrounded by highly-rated restaurants and coffee shops. There's a Starbucks and El Corte Inglés in the same building block if you need something quick. 14th floor room has nice city views. Even though it's on a busy street, the room is surprisingly quiet. The room itself is modern and comfortable. The bed is big and cozy, and there's a pleasant sitting area with stylish chairs perfect for relaxing. The bathroom is really well done, has good lighting. They've thought about what travelers need, adding both USB-A and USB-C charging ports in several sockets, also near the bed. The room lighting is great too - there is several options to adjust it to make the room bright for working or softer for relaxing. The room feels fresh and clean with nice wooden floors and a soft rug. Everything feels new and well-maintained. The layout makes good use of space, and room feels very spacious. Overall, this is a great choice whether you're in Madrid for work or vacation. It's in the perfect spot, has all the modern features you need, and is really comfortable.

Very minor, but getting warm water in shower takes quite some time, especially in the mornings (might be due to 14th floor in my case and winter time). Also, the ground floor bar, while stylish, could use of one small improvement - softer lighting in the evening. Currently, it's too bright for comfortable evening drinks or relaxation. Some dimmer, more intimate lighting would really help create that cozy evening atmosphere you want in a hotel bar.

The hotel and staff were brilliant. Location was excellent and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were a short walk from the center, but without the total craziness of the center at this time of year.

I have marked the hotel down slightly for only one thing. It was impossible to contact them by telephone prior to our trip, the phones just rang out. We traveled from 3rd-5th of January so maybe this was a factor. It meant it was hard to get information about parking. It also meant we couldn't check that we definitely had an extra bed in our room (we didn't but the reception staff were amazing and sorted everything for us).

When we decide to rent a room in the countries we will visit, we care if people from our own nation have stayed at that hotel. Frankly, this is what attracted us to this hotel in the first place, and when we arrived in the city and entered the hotel, we realized again how right a decision we had made. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk from places to visit in Madrid. You can find a Carrefour right on the back street and some Inditex stores in front. There is a Starbucks and a great hamburger restaurant on the side. The rooms were very clean and their appearance gave the feeling that you were staying in a real 4-star hotel. We made the first best choice of our Spain vacation thanks to this hotel. We would like to thank all the staff. We will definitely recommend you to our friends who will be in Madrid.

The location was great, and despite there being refurbishment underway, the staff and hotel did everything to make our stay excellent. Everyone from the doorstaff who helped with taxis and our luggage, the cleaners who daily cleaned the room, the receptionists who were always helpful and kind and the bar and kitchen staff who also did there utmost to accommodate us, we had an overall brilliant experience. The room was spacious with sofa, desk and table, comfy beds and ample storage space. Bathroom too- v clean and well laid out with all we needed. It was excellent value for money.

Important that people are aware refurbishment is underway. It didn’t bother us, nor impact our stay at all. But good for guests to know.
