I liked that it was affordable and that you still had the option of your own space. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially me being a non Spanish speaker in a city where most only speak Spanish. I want to thank the reception staff also who went out of her way to help me secure a room for an additional night after being in a difficult situation (non related to the accomidation). Her support and kind approach really made the situation alot easier for me being alone in the city travelling.

No issues very clean and safe with a central location. Genuinely ideal for solo travellers or couples looking for a place that is central.

The location is really very good. Walking distance 20 min to the palace and located in a nice and safe neighborhood. The staff amazing gentle and helpful. The cleaness also great. Bed and pillows were the best. I slept wonderful although the noise was too much.

The rooms are really very small comparing to the price. Internet malfunction.After 22.00 didn't work and i couldn't watch on tv movies,plus i used my data and some days i had no Internet at all. The noise is too much. Although my room supposed to be soundproof, i could hear the breath from next room. I slept wit my earplugs.

The room was exceptionally clean, with a comfortable bed that made for a great stay. While the bathroom was a bit small, it was spotless and well-equipped with plenty of towels and toilet paper. The room had a lovely, fresh scent and featured a small balcony overlooking the street, which added to its charm. I felt very comfortable throughout my stay—it had everything a solo traveler needs for a few days in Madrid. The location was excellent, just a short distance from the main central areas, making it convenient to explore the city.

I had a bit of trouble opening the door upon arrival, as the access instructions weren’t very clear. I ended up waiting for someone to open it so I could slip in. Clearer signage on the door would definitely help make the entry process smoother. However, once I got the keys, everything was straightforward and hassle-free. Overall, a good experience!

The Hostel is really near to the centre of the city you can walk a little to the metro and to Gran Via really convinent if you want to stay there and also the staff are very kind anything that I asked they answer me very well even if I don’t speak in Spanish thank you for welcoming us 😊

The room is good but you can hear the noise outside the hall and the other rooms beside, you can not speak loud and then unfortunately they don’t have bidet and when we ask to clean the room yes they change the towels but they didn’t clean the room maybe a little bit vaccum just that in all no problem 😊

The location is absolutely perfect - very centric but the neighborhood is not the noisiest. I slept very well the whole time. The room was actually pretty spacious for a single room. The bed was quite big, there was a foldable desk/table that was really useful, big TV. There were enough toiletries and toilet paper left in the bathroom before I arrived so I didn't have to ask for more during my 5 night stay.

A couple of super minor things but they don't really matter. I had a great time and I am very happy for choosing this hostel. I would choose it again for future visits.

Exceptional location. Right in the city centre and most of the attractions are within 1 kilometres walking radius. Metro station (Line 2) is also literally next door. Lots of restaurants nearby. Comfortable room with AC. Also, a large number of shared bathrooms, so not an issue at all. Very clean.

The Wi-Fi was patchy and did not work properly half the time. Shared fridge & microwave facility can also be made available to the guests given the price.

The hostel is in a great location (almost in the city center). ☺️ Wherever you go, on average, you mostly need 10-30 minutes by foot. If you like to walk instead of using public transport, this hostel is a great choice. Also, nearby, there are a lot of shops and bakeries (some of them work 24 hours), good restaurants and cafes (from cheap to expensive), metro station, etc. Also, the check-in was super fast, and the staff was very polite. ☺️

WiFi connection could be better. 🫤 It was often broken and didn't work, especially in the evenings. We were lucky to have our card with the internet, so it wasn't a problem for us. But for someone else, it may be.

- The receptionist was friendly and willing to help with my questions. - Despite the small size of the room, it has TV, AC and nice toilet with shower. - Location is awesome.

- As room is small and for sleep I would except to have a shared kitchen with basic kitchen needs (SA water kettle). - Before coming I asked about the parking and they recommended a nearby garage (Garaje Santana on Calle Andrés Borrego) ( do not go for it because of the following ) - It's expensive ( even with the discount card that the hotel provides ) you can find better options and still nearby walking distance. - It wasn't mentioned that this garage is not 24 hours . so I needed to move my car again to another garage and costed me 7 euros for less than couple of hours in that one.

The facility was tidy and comfortable when you get to Abel Victoriano reception going in. The staff was super friendly and we agreed with my partner that when we visit Madrid again,that will be our home. AC and TV are working perfectly. We had the right to choose if we get our room cleaned or maintain our privacy throughout our stay

Considering the Spanish hot temperatures, we expected a fridge, even i small bar fridgein the room, but it was not there yet

I’m gonna give them 10 points. This place is one of best city hotels I’ve stayed in. Room was very spacious, I almost felt like I rented an apartment. Everything was very clean and comfortable. They also give you these small sweet treats every day, I thought it was a nice gesture. And it’s right in the middle of Alicante. Just 5-10min walking distance is to all the major attractions. Plenty of restaurants nearby. I didn’t see the owners as we only spoke through the phone, but they seem very friendly and welcoming.
