We stayed in a Double Superior street-facing room with balcony on the first floor of the building. It is very well located and with the good double glass balcony windows, which is important during weekend nights, the room was quiet to sleep. The personnel is very attentive and even if the reception is only open until 15:00, anything can be easily asked/arranged via whatsapp. Easy access to the room with keypad door lock and/or card to open the door, both provided. Having wifi access proved to be inportant as the old thick walls barely let pass any 4G signal to the room.

No mini fridge in the room. But being a hostal, not a hotel, I guess is normal. Could be a nice upgrade though, at least on the superior rooms.

The staff member who we interacted with went above and beyond to make our stay great. We were only there for one night, but it was all we needed - really enjoyed having our own bathroom. We got breakfast included (they make it for you fresh, you have 2 options to choose from). Lots to walk to right outside the Hostel. Beds were very comfortable. Shower pressure was great.

We had 2 rooms and couldn't figure out how to adjust the temperature in either room. The rooms are small, but we were expecting this. There is a bit of street noise you can hear but it wasn't a big deal when we were there.

Excellent location and great value for money. My room was small but very clean and comfortable. There is a small safe and air-conditioning unit in the room. The bathroom is very clean with nice organic washing supplies and all equipment in a great state. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. All my enquiries were answered very quick - the personal seems to be working around the clock. Thank you very much for your service!

Lift would be helpful but it seems going to be fixed soon. A little fridge in the room would be helpful if I stayed longer.

Convenient location, quiet, comfortable, and very kind and helpful staff! Very happy with my stay, and would happily return. Check-in and check-out were smooth and convenient

The reception is only open for a limited period, and it would be nice if there was a fridge in the room, and the bag storage is a bit expensive, but otherwise it was very good

Staff was very kind and helpful. I’m a female solo traveler so location is really important for me, and I felt safe around hotel neighborhood even at the night. Close to metro station, easy to get to center and to airport. The room was generally clean. There was enough space.

Room temperature was a bit cold for me, when I tried to increase the temperature, the air conditioner screen automatically returned to the initial temperature. There were some hairs in the bathroom that wasn’t mine.

Simple hotel/hostel in an excellent location. The staff are the most pleasant aspect of CC Malasaña, very helpful and friendly every time you see them and as a solo traveller it really helps to make you feel comfortable. Everything worked perfectly and plenty of sockets available for any devices you need to plug in. Extremely clean. There is some simple food and drink available at the hotel but I didn't try any of it as you are surrounded by every kind of restaurant and cafe, bar grill or fast food you can imagine. All within from a few seconds to a few minutes walk.

The fumigation or cleaning substance used on premises had a weird smell for me. Not unpleasant, just strange. It wouldn't prevent me from returning but I noticed it for sure.

Nice location. Lots of restaurants that aren't expensive and fruits shop which I love. The staff is very accommodating and helpful, attentive on WhatsApp. The room is nice also. Small but you have everything you need.

The room was small but it matched all my needs. The room was clean and quiet as it faces the courtyard. The location was near shops and cafes but the room was not noisy. Check in was done ahead online and I received codes for electronic locks so didn't really meet the staff, but upon check out they let me store my luggage at the counter for the day and staff was helpful. I only stayed for one night but it was a really good experience!

Staff was really helpful. The area is great. Everything is well organized and clean. I would definitely use this accomodation again.

One gets a numer of emails after booking, asking for confirmation by payment, including emails with titles like "your credit card doesn't work" even though I had not even used it or entered my credit card information anywhere etc. ... I thought that was a bit weird. Hoever, after emailing the hotel, direct bank transfer was also possible ... the fact that you don't meet anyone during your stay, checking in or out makes the whole experience a bit unpersonal ... however, if you phone the telefone number that is given or go and find the people at the hotel desk in the moring, the are very helpful and super friendly.
