One suggestion is to alert, in the laundry room, that a wash cycle is about 2 hours +… On my last night, the inside street door was malfunctioning, the buzzer sounded ominous and indeed, wouldn’t allow anyone to open the door to the elevators. There were 7 of us stranded, good news was in about 20-30 minutes someone arrived to use a key. So responsiveness was as good as possible with how close someone lives I guess. Perhaps this was a one-off situation, but definitely a glitch in there last night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob W Chueca. The hotel is incredibly well-located in the Gran Vía area, surrounded by small shops and supermarkets where you can easily pick up water, groceries, and food. Buses and metro stations are just a few minutes' walk away, making it very convenient to get around the city. The room is compact but comfortably spacious for two people. It comes with good air conditioning, a small kitchen island, a fridge, and a wall-mounted TV across from the bed. The bathroom is on the smaller side but perfectly functional, featuring a compact shower cabin, a large sink, and a toilet — all clean and well-maintained. Security at the hotel is excellent. Access from the street is restricted by several layers of entry, starting with a large gate that requires a code, followed by the main entrance, also code-locked. Once inside, guests need to enter another code to access the hallway of their floor, and again to enter their room. Noise from neighboring rooms was minimal; most of the sound comes from the vibrant streets outside, which are lively from morning until late evening. We didn’t find it disturbing — rather, it added to the atmosphere of staying in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly, and we had pleasant interactions with other guests. Overall, Bob W Chueca was a highly satisfying stay thanks to its unbeatable location, great facilities, and strong sense of security. Midway through our stay, the hotel experienced some issues with the AC system. However, they handled it well by stocking the shared kitchen’s fridge with complimentary bottled water and providing fans, which we appreciated

The facilities are very well located. They are also very clean. I loved how accessible the owners are. Getting inside of the building was very easy using the website. After you’re done doing check-in you’re giving the codes for the building the doors and the apartment. The lighting in the room was amazing I loved that it had a big window that that took up almost the entire wall and it opened all the way creating a type of balcony feel. I loved that they provide you with chargers for the type of area you’re in. Will let you use a little instant camera in case you wanna take pictures of your trip. And I loved that the gifted us a tote bag of Madrid, we use that a lot on our little trips to the grocery store to get water and other Supllies. It came in very handy. I had an excellent time here and I can’t wait to come back.

The only thing I could say that I did not like is that I wanted to turn on the AC and when I messaged the owner about it, I was that they do not offer air conditioning during winter season. But the thing is I was there during the spring and March. So it didn’t make a lot of sense but it was OK because the room was very nice and it was only hot during certain times a day because like I Said Before the lighting was very good meaning that the sun hit directly into the room making it hotter. But as soon as the sunset, the room got a lot cooler.

Location is super good, easily walkable to a lot of attractions, from the airport its one metro train for a few stops (which the station is just up the road) then swap to the airport metro. There's restaurants, dessert places, a lot of markets, street markets etc within a 5 minute walk, madrid history museum that's free is up the road, and most things you'd want is 20-30 minutes walk pretty easily. Busy street with shopping + food options etc outside, but I didn't find it loud

I never love the staffless check in, the instructions were okay but its a bit trial and error but it works.

The location is superb. In the heart of commercial area but it is quiet (my room faces the inside courtyard). Although it is not a hotel with reception, the team responds very promptly and the facilities are well-maintained. I can see the dedications put by the team. All the check in and access to the building are via codes, which might be confusing for the first time, but it is convenient once you learned it.

There is no daily room cleaning, but it might be something you can communicate with the team. Room was a bit chilly when I stayed during the winter. Sound proof wasn't great as I can hear neighbours having a great time, but after staying several hotels in Spain, Bob W certainly wasn't the worst.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! Every detail was carefully thought out to make my experience as comfortable and convenient as possible. They didn’t just provide the essentials – there were thoughtful extras like a reusable bag, an instant camera, and other small but appreciated touches that really made the difference. It’s clear that the hotel cares about the environment too, with eco-friendly initiatives that added to the overall experience. Lola and Anna were especially welcoming and warm, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their kindness really enhanced my stay. From start to finish, the level of care and attention to detail was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay!

The location of the hotel was fantastic – it’s close to everything you could need. However, the street can get quite crowded and a little noisy. Personally, it wasn’t uncomfortable for me, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it might be something to consider.

We only had one night here and wish I knew about it befoore as it is in a great neighborhood, one I wished I had stayed at the other days too. We arrived and could drop off our bags in luggage storage and the cleaning ladies were super friendly. I absolutely loved the guest online area which had all the info we need including the door codes. I also love that they joined with some local businesses for breakfast at a great price. The room was cool, even more space than I thought and the poloroid camera was such a neat thing. I only took 3 photos and wish had more time for more. The beds were super comfortable to sleep and loved the shower too. Walking distance to Puerto del Sol and many shops and restaurants around. The kitchentte was great too so this can be a great option for a longer stay. They had a handwritten card with our name on it and some cookies. I would defintely book again.

Very good service in whatsapp and on location. I changed the room and it was very quicly organized. Very neat and modern furniture. Very safe with four different codes to get into the house😆.

The window was two sliding glass-panels, it doesn't block the noise and the wind blew right through. I used the yoga-matt's to block the draft. There's no radiators, so during winter room was cold. It took one day and limited +26C air-conditioner use just to heat up the place. The place was difficult to find, there's no Bob W. -sign outside and the number 45 was hidden deep in the corridor. When the gate to street is closed, you cannot see the number at all. Also taxi doesn't take you there since it is a walking-street.

Excellent location, great kitchen area in room, lots of extra special touches, big and very comfy bed, hassle free check in/check out, great character to the room, quick and easy communication with staff, nice complimentary toiletries.

The downside to such a great location was a lot of noise during the night. This is mostly out of the control of Bob W and earplugs are provided, but the window sealing could be tighter around the lock to stop sound leaking in quite so much. Some of the furnishings were tired and needed replacing and we were told the thermostat could not be put on air con mode despite us desperately needing it the first couple of days, as it was now technically winter.

The entire experience handling the host is very good. Everything very professional and well taken care. Amazing details to make us feel comfortable and have good times in Madrid. The breakfast being in a near coffee shop, adds value, since it has great food. The camera so we can take a picture and leave it for other guests. The organization of the space and bedroom, is very functional.

The room is very small, but good to a couple and 1 kid, tops. Since in the summer the temperature can be very hot and how we were facing outdoors with direct sun, the air conditioning is not enough, since it was in the lower temperature possible, running for hours and even not cooling down the space, what made it uncomfortable some times.
