Bob W Chueca apartments are exceptional. Ultra modern, clean and in an excellent location. Even though located on the shopping street, the apartment is very well insulated and quiet. This was an amazing find. Few minutes walk from the centre, close to all the tourist must see places, with shops and cafes straight outside the front entrance. Just brilliant. Would definitely stay again. Also loved the personal touches. They left a hand written welcome card on the table with contact number, should any problem occur. Great communication whenever we needed anything. Absolutely loved our stay. Thank you

This accommodation was absolutely great—right in the centre of Madrid, in one of the city’s most lively and creative neighbourhoods. What makes it unique is the absence of physical staff, yet everything was so well organised by the Bob team via WhatsApp. They were punctual, attentive, and caring both before my arrival and throughout my stay—I honestly felt looked after and “cuddled.” The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the place was spotless and nicely appointed. The bathroom and shower were excellent, and the bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. I can’t wait to stay at Bob’s again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a modern, stress-free stay right in the heart of the big city.

We appreciated the fact that the owners seem to have thought of everything in providing excellent service to guests. We did not want for anything. All information and facilities were considered, and our stay was most enjoyable, comfortable and memorable. Laundry arrangements were excellent, and how sensible to provide a clothes airer for us to use in our room - just like at home!! :)

Bob W goes to great lengths to provide information for guests. This is fine, but we became tired and somewhat frustrated with the barrage of daily email and WhatsApp messages about access, facilities and joining the Bob W ‘family’ (the Inner Circle etc). This became tedious, when all we wanted was a good place to stay on our European holiday :). These communications could be streamlined.

One suggestion is to alert, in the laundry room, that a wash cycle is about 2 hours +… On my last night, the inside street door was malfunctioning, the buzzer sounded ominous and indeed, wouldn’t allow anyone to open the door to the elevators. There were 7 of us stranded, good news was in about 20-30 minutes someone arrived to use a key. So responsiveness was as good as possible with how close someone lives I guess. Perhaps this was a one-off situation, but definitely a glitch in there last night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bob W Chueca. The hotel is incredibly well-located in the Gran Vía area, surrounded by small shops and supermarkets where you can easily pick up water, groceries, and food. Buses and metro stations are just a few minutes' walk away, making it very convenient to get around the city. The room is compact but comfortably spacious for two people. It comes with good air conditioning, a small kitchen island, a fridge, and a wall-mounted TV across from the bed. The bathroom is on the smaller side but perfectly functional, featuring a compact shower cabin, a large sink, and a toilet — all clean and well-maintained. Security at the hotel is excellent. Access from the street is restricted by several layers of entry, starting with a large gate that requires a code, followed by the main entrance, also code-locked. Once inside, guests need to enter another code to access the hallway of their floor, and again to enter their room. Noise from neighboring rooms was minimal; most of the sound comes from the vibrant streets outside, which are lively from morning until late evening. We didn’t find it disturbing — rather, it added to the atmosphere of staying in the heart of the city. The staff were friendly, and we had pleasant interactions with other guests. Overall, Bob W Chueca was a highly satisfying stay thanks to its unbeatable location, great facilities, and strong sense of security. Midway through our stay, the hotel experienced some issues with the AC system. However, they handled it well by stocking the shared kitchen’s fridge with complimentary bottled water and providing fans, which we appreciated

The facilities are very well located. They are also very clean. I loved how accessible the owners are. Getting inside of the building was very easy using the website. After you’re done doing check-in you’re giving the codes for the building the doors and the apartment. The lighting in the room was amazing I loved that it had a big window that that took up almost the entire wall and it opened all the way creating a type of balcony feel. I loved that they provide you with chargers for the type of area you’re in. Will let you use a little instant camera in case you wanna take pictures of your trip. And I loved that the gifted us a tote bag of Madrid, we use that a lot on our little trips to the grocery store to get water and other Supllies. It came in very handy. I had an excellent time here and I can’t wait to come back.

The only thing I could say that I did not like is that I wanted to turn on the AC and when I messaged the owner about it, I was that they do not offer air conditioning during winter season. But the thing is I was there during the spring and March. So it didn’t make a lot of sense but it was OK because the room was very nice and it was only hot during certain times a day because like I Said Before the lighting was very good meaning that the sun hit directly into the room making it hotter. But as soon as the sunset, the room got a lot cooler.

Excellent location. Secure entry. Good, easy to use aircon, which was on when I arrived - very nice, since it was 37C! Quiet. The frosted glass part way up the window was good for privacy, without blocking all the light. It's a 5 minute walk from Crepes & Waffles, which I discovered in Colombia - definitely recommend. Lots of helpful information. Prompt, relevant communication. Didn't use kitchen or laundry facilities, so can't comment.

The buildings are around a small, triangular yard, so the apartments overlook each other.

Location is super good, easily walkable to a lot of attractions, from the airport its one metro train for a few stops (which the station is just up the road) then swap to the airport metro. There's restaurants, dessert places, a lot of markets, street markets etc within a 5 minute walk, madrid history museum that's free is up the road, and most things you'd want is 20-30 minutes walk pretty easily. Busy street with shopping + food options etc outside, but I didn't find it loud

I never love the staffless check in, the instructions were okay but its a bit trial and error but it works.

The location is superb. In the heart of commercial area but it is quiet (my room faces the inside courtyard). Although it is not a hotel with reception, the team responds very promptly and the facilities are well-maintained. I can see the dedications put by the team. All the check in and access to the building are via codes, which might be confusing for the first time, but it is convenient once you learned it.

There is no daily room cleaning, but it might be something you can communicate with the team. Room was a bit chilly when I stayed during the winter. Sound proof wasn't great as I can hear neighbours having a great time, but after staying several hotels in Spain, Bob W certainly wasn't the worst.

Lola and Anna were especially welcoming and warm, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their kindness really enhanced my stay. From start to finish, the level of care and attention to detail was outstanding. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay!

The location of the hotel was fantastic – it’s close to everything you could need. However, the street can get quite crowded and a little noisy. Personally, it wasn’t uncomfortable for me, but if you’re sensitive to noise, it might be something to consider.
