Great location, plenty of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies, and really anything you could possibly need. The room is bigger than what I'm used to in Europe. The air conditioner made me sleep like a baby. It also has a mini fridge and microwave in the room, which is also unusual in Europe, at least in my experience. At the right price it is a great place to stay.

It doesn't have an elevator so you have to go up 4 floors. With a backpack or a small carry-on bag is fine, but if you have big luggage it will be very difficult. Also, while everything seemed clean, the bathroom is all dark which makes it impossible to tell if it is actually clean or you just can't see the dirty stuff.

The hostess was so kind and sweet and eventho she didn't talk in English, we managed to communicate. They let us leave our suitcases in the hostal for free until 6 pm, which was very helpful. The room was pretty, clean, had towels and in a great location (very close by walking to Gran Via) and there were various supermarkets and shops around. The balcony was very small but it was okay. All in all, our experience and impressions were very positive and I would definitely stay there again.

The negative point is that the building is kind of old and there is no elevator. So be prepared to carry all your stuff up and down.

Large room. Very gracious hostess. Convenient to Metro and stores. TV had a good variety of programming. WiFi was adequate.

No elevator and up 3 floors. For the price there should have been coffee service or a refrigerator. It was a bit weird to only have 1 long pillow on the double bed. Overpriced for what you get. Very sterile room.

.Best location. The staff was very helpfull and kind.The lady that works there helped me even late at night! If you are looking for the best location this is your place. One minute walk from Gran Via and close to 2 metro stations.

Note that this is not a luxury hotel. Very basic one. Ask for an inner room because the one next to the entrance door is very loud.

The location was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the tv and mini fridge were very good size. The lady from reception was lovely, super attentive.

That you could hear the noise from the corridor, the building is old so it doesn’t have elevator but is not a problem if you aren’t carrying too much luggage.

Comfortable if you need a place to sleep for a couple of nights. Very good location and within a walkable distance to all major attractions. They can store your luggage if you ask them to. Good value for the money.

It was very close to Gran Via. There were restaurants closed to the place. The receptionist, Niurka was really kind and sweet.

U have to go up 66 stairs, with luggage it becomes a little complicated.

Only stayed for one night, but the staff was excellent. Comfortable beds. Access to AC, wifi, and a really nice shower. Very close to the metro and center of Madrid.

The location was amazing, the room was really big with air-conditioning and a fridge - which wasn't my experience at a more expensive hostel nearby. The beds are really comfortable as well.

You have to climb three flights of stairs to get there, which is hard with suitcases!

Very clean. Comfortable beds. Central. Very good value for money for individual traveller or if your a couple doing a short stay on a budget.

Slightly confusing on booking.com as there are two hostal Andrea’s and I got sent to the wrong one.
