The location is simply unbeatable. As a solo female traveller I appreciated the safety of this place. Keep in mind, that the reception is on the second floor, no problem with the elevator. The room was cleaned every day, the towels changed as often as you wished.

The location is excellent, close to the subway and many restaurants. It's in a very safe area, and the staff was friendly. Extremely quiet.

We would've appreciated a sitting chair or two, although we know in a small room this could be challenging. Perhaps by eliminating the large wardrobe and just having 2 luggage racks and some wall hooks might allow for a chair.

Staying at Hostal Sonsoles Madrid-Centro was a delightful experience. The cozy atmosphere and warm, welcoming staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The central location is unbeatable, with so many attractions and conveniences just a short stroll away. The room was clean and comfortable, and the mattress provided a great night’s sleep – perfect for recharging after exploring the city. The bathroom is a bit compact, but it didn’t affect my stay at all.

This place is a great bargain. The location in the heart of Chueca is amazing and the room was very clean and had everything you need. I was also impressed that even though my room was next to a busy street, the soundproofing was great.

You aren’t allowed to have any visitors.

We booked this for 3 nights. Due to a late flight, we could arrive until midnight. They refused to let us in at that hour, nor return our money for that night. The result, we had to get a room in a different hotel. So we paid for 2 rooms for the same night. This place has forgotten They are in the hospitality business.

Location is amazing. Staff very friendly and helpfull. We had an option to leave our luggadge the last day in the reception, as we had flight in the evening. Room has comfy beds, and our room had windows looking in the atrium of the building, so we didnt hear any noise during night from the outside.

If there is noise in the hallway, you can hear it in the room. We had luck that we didnt have a lot of noise, as we travelled in March. Towels are not good quality, for couple of days it's fine, but investing in better ones would be a plus.

I booked at this location at the last minute because I had to extend my trip because of a medical emergency. I am so glad that I did because, it felt like staying with family. They constantly asked me if I needed anything and made sure I was comfortable. I ended up extending my stay even longer and they were extremely accommodating. Staying here during a difficult time was truly one of the best decisions. Thank you family! =)

Best thing is the location, just one block from La Gran Via. Lots of places to eat just outside.

For us visiting Madrid for the first time, it was not obvious that the place is located in a street with no car access. It was somewhat disconcerting. But once we realized that, no issues. Also we didn't know this was basically the gay neighborhood. Not that I have a particular problem with that, but also something to consider.

Location super.Hotel old Madrid-style building, quiet and superclean.I didn't see staff bc like privacy and check-out 5 a.m Reception open 24/7 so guests are free to come and go as they please. Madrid can be noisy,hot and crowded during summer-season.There's air condition in the rooms, so this hostel was like cool and quiet haven.I recommend you if your choise is in Sonsoles Madrid-centro

The room feels like a real hotel room with comfotable beds, sheets, clean, amenities in the bathroom, towels. Really good!

You can hear other guests through the walls. But since we were out all day and only came back to sleep this was not a problem, because during the night everyone was quite.
