I stayed in one of the attic rooms with a terrace and the terrace itself was just gorgeous. I didn’t want to leave. Great comfy space, view of the Madrid rooftops and mountains.

I don’t know about the other rooms but mine had no shower and just a clawfoot tub with a handheld. And while I used to use these all the time, I’m a little too addicted to a traditional shower to appreciate showering off in a tub. Plus, the tub is super small. And while I am petite and thin, it’s still quite narrow. Proceed with caution if you’re older!

The Room in the 6th floor was great! It was big, well equipped, clean and beautiful.

The street in which the hotel is located is not too nice, however with a 2 minutes walk you reach gran via. Further, the lounge is not very inviting.

7 Islas is a very modern hotel in a fabulous location, right near the Gran Via for shopping and steps away from some fantastic bars and restaurants. Although the hotel is in a central location, it is tucked away down a side street so not right in the midst of all the hustle and bustle. There is a supermarket right opposite which was fantastic for buying essentials and an amazing bakery just round the corner. There were also some great places for brunch nearby. The room itself was spotlessly clean and the Malin + Goetz bathroom products added a touch of on trend luxury. The fridge was also very handy! Getting to and from the airport was easy - about 35 minutes in an Uber which cost about £25 (*there is a designated Uber pick up location in T4). Will definitely stay at 7 Islas next time we are in Madrid… we loved it!

The location was perfect, very convenient to the main square and public transportation. There were tons of restaurants, cafes and shopping within walking distance. The staff was exceptionally nice and friendly. This was our first time in Spain and they helped us coordinate transportation, allowed early check in, and helped us with finding restaurants and other activities. The room was also fabulous. The black out curtains were a nice touch, the products in the bathroom were top notch/smelled amazing and the room was quite spacious for 2 girls with a lot of stuff! The room was so reasonably priced. I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Madrid and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

It was a beautiful experience. The hotel really exceeded my expectations. Came for a trip with my Dad and it's difficult to have comfortable experiences, especially in hotels. They're really experienced and know how to handle guests. I can't fault it. Maybe if I had a room with no street view I'd comment on that. But we did! This was such a lovely touch. I'm happy with our stay, so much so that we extendex the trip atleast twice in the same hotel.

Perhaps there could have been more breakfast options, however I really think this is a small point. Breakfast itself was delicious

Small thing but no coffee provided in room. Reception said that was because it was provided in the breakfast area at level -1 - inconvenient for that first coffee of the day!!!

Very central location in Madrid. Clean room and facilities. Friendly staff. Modern and original decoration.

One of the two lifts wasn't working, making for a longer-than-usual wait time for the lift. The bed mattress wasn't the most comfortable.

The room was just the right size for a comfortable stay. It was exceptionally clean, and the bathroom was well-equipped, including a bidet. While there were no toothbrush and toothpaste provided, this was a minor inconvenience considering the other amenities. The towels were thick and plush, adding a touch of luxury to the experience. The soap and shampoo provided were also of great quality. The location is perfect, offering easy access to the metro and various attractions in the area. There's a small supermarket (Dia) right across the hotel. Also, the hotel has a small gym, perfect for when you want to get a workout in without having to leave the premises. Overall, my stay was very pleasant, and I would highly recommend 7 Islas for anyone looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay near Gran Vía.

I recall reading before booking that the gym was supposed to be open 24/7, but it wasn't the case. Also, the basement level (where the gym and the restaurant are) had no signs so if you go down and all doors are closed, you'd feel that you're in the wrong place.

The atmosphere created in the lobby is very good. It is spacious, elegant and with excellent lighting. It's a shame that the rooms do not have the same comfort, mainly the low quality mattress, which in fact is the most important thing for a traveler. The complementary teas in the room are nice.

The low quality of the mattress does not match the price of the room. Of the two elevators, only one works, and it is very slow. Very small room for the price offered. Old TV (No smart TV). In the middle of winter the heating does not work well, the room feels cold. The Wi-Fi password must be entered again every time you enter the hotel. The staff is very stressed and not very friendly, except for the bar guy who is nice and professional.

spacious room, comfortable bed, quality cosmetics, good towels and robes. Around within walking distance of a supermarket, shops, the main street, museums (attractions) are also easily accessible on foot. Also daily cleaning was excellent!

I was surprised by the lack of slippers and hygiene products in the form of a standard set of cotton swabs and cotton pads. Dinner was not delivered by the room service, as they stopped answering the phone for order from menu in a room
