This hotel was renovated and reopened a month ago. Completely updated. Very welcoming and friendly reception. The hotel is very charming with nice artistic decor. I loved it! The bed was comfortable with crisp white sheets, the shower was amazing (hot and very strong water pressure), the bathroom towels were new and HUGE - loved them! I also loved the upgraded lotion & shampoo, they even gave a welcome gift on my bed. Perfect location! Walkable to everything. It was quiet even on a Saturday night. And they have a cool cozy hip bar downstairs. Thank you! I enjoyed my stay! My only dislike was the smell in the morning the bathroom had a strong sewage smell that seemed to come up from the shower 🤷‍♀️ I think this needs to be fixed somehow.

Great location close to Gran Via station. The facilities were good and clean, the breakfast was pretty good and the check in and out experience was seamless. We liked everything about our stay here except the one negative point I've noted in this review.

The street amenity. With public toilets in Madrid in short supply, the street this hotel is located in is unfortunately the favourite dumping ground - literally - for many of the city's homeless. While this is not the fault of the Walt, it does put a damper on things when you're gagging on the smell on the way out and in of the hotel every day. I'm sure other hotels in other streets have similar issues, and it's unavoidable when the city council doesn't provide public toilets.

Really excellent location, service and room. The decor throughout the hotel is very well done. Great shower and bed, the amenities provided smelt brilliant. House keeping is really good - the room was spotless and serviced everyday. I would highly recommend this hotel, I feel it’s great value for money.

We would stay again despite the following. You cannot stream from your phone to the television, it may be worth bringing your own device to do this if you want to watch English content in the room. Provided shampoo is a 2 in 1 conditioner which my partner didn’t get on with. Air con is limited to 23* (based on instructions in room) and doesn’t cool, some nights it got hot in the room.

The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful! I was so lucky to get a room with a balcony and its was so charming. Wish I could find more info about the history of the building. For those who are looking for a nice hotel in a center close to Gran Via this one is really worth considering.

There could be a bigger selection in breakfast options but still shat I got turned out to be absolutely enough, the lady who served in the bar was an absolute darling and if you are looking for more there is a lot of places to eat right outside the hotel so no complains here!

Great location very close to Gran Via and Sol, service was outstanding (even allowed us to check-in in the morning), the room is quiet and comfortable, and the hotel is located in a quiet street a few steps away from Gran Via. The room was equipped with a minibar.Luggage deposit on the day of departure

I would recommend having breakfast outside of the hotel.

Very comfy clean near the main high street

The road it is down is not very pleasant was bins just near hotel and rubbish and broken glass all round bin took a couple of days before the glass cleared up. No English channels on Tv

I highly recommend! The location is just perfect and very convenient. My room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully decorated. The hotel itself is beautifully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. I litterally slept like a baby!! The staff were exceptional, always friendly and very helpful. They gave me very good recommendations for local dining. To be short, if you look for a hotel in Madrid, look no further than Hotel du Temps!!

Hotel is allocated in the city center. Near to all major attractions. Laundry place, Carrefour express is just next to it. Grand Via is 3 minutes walk. Metro Gran Via, Metro Sol and Metro Plaza España are connecting to airport. It’s just behind Primark and HM Store. Surrounded by cafes and retails. Room is so clean. HK cleaned it everyday. I have Terrance also. I like the bathroom so cute. Receptionist so friendly and helpful. The lady(I don’t know her name & the guy Camillo?)

Location was amazing! Lovely staff, comfy beds and great shower.

Only one person trying to do everything at breakfast. When all the tables were full, the girl was trying to clear up, re-set tables and keep the breakfast supplies topped up. Could have done with some help here,

Beautiful, small hotel, well located. Very comfortable bed, and room, quiet. Charming mid century decor. I arrived late by plane in a big storm, thunder, lightening, pounding rain and cold! I was welcomed into the hotel, and directed to the bar where a lovely flamenco performance was going on, and ate and drank before falling into bed to sleep extremely well.
