I don't have to see the host and was given the codes to open the entrance door and the apartment door as per instruction. Check in and check out were a breeze. The apartment was in a top notch condition and location was very strategic. Very clean and modern design. I love the balcony. Very closed to Calle Gran Via. Cooking utensils and cutleries are available, you don't have to bring from home. We washed our laundry few times (detergents available). Large and comfy beddings. I will definitely come back here in the future. We LOVE MADRID!!

No lift. We had to climb up 2nd floor with 3 large luggage and 3 cabin size luggage. It would be better if the host offer an additional service like a porter to help us during check in and check out.

Recently renovated and very clean. Fantastic location just off the main tourist area. We stayed in mid June when Madrid is very busy and very hot. The super power of this apartment is that it is extremely quiet due to not having any windows opening to the street. All windows open to an internal space that lets in fresh air and natural light but no noise. Trust me this is a good thing as the young people of Madrid go all night!!! The apartment is lovely and cool ( great air con)

The Bed is extremely firm!

This property offers an excellent location that's perfect for family trips! Being within walking distance of shopping areas and having two supermarkets just steps away made daily errands incredibly convenient. The self-check-in instructions were clear and detailed, allowing us to settle in smoothly without any hassles. We especially appreciated the spacious layout with two separate bathrooms - a lifesaver for family use! The in-room washer worked well, though it would be even better if 1-2 laundry pods could be provided (currently only available in the shared laundry room downstairs).

Two minor issues to note: 1. The sofa bed wasn't set up in advance despite our group size being specified during booking. 2. The heating system wasn't very effective during cooler evenings, and we experienced brief Wi-Fi disconnections.

The location was absolutely perfect! 10 minutes walk to the shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment itself was super clean, it was well equipped with utensils in the kitchen and new appliances. The whole property was pristine and made our stay really comfortable.

The noise from people in the street below was overbearing and loud at certain times in the early hours of the morning. The apartment was quite dark due to lack of large windows which would be great in the summer to not let too much heat in from the sun, but could be oppressive in the winter. We stayed in February so weather conditions were cooler and it was generally cloudy, the bedrooms didn’t benefit from much light at all.

Mante House has a great location, close to the city and main attractions of Madrid. The place itself is clean and comfortable, exactly like the photos. We were hoping for a washing machine in the unit itself but there was none. Instead, there are 2 washing machines in a cleaning room on the first floor of the property, which was fine. In any case, there are a few laundromats very close to the property. All in all, we had a comfortable stay at this clean and conveniently located apartment.

Great location, just minutes away from the main street and check in was fuss free. Very lovely apartment design, true to photos and everything was relatively clean. The team is also very prompt in response over message, which was truly appreciated.

Streets at night were relatively noisy as soundproofing wasn’t the best. Would not recommend for light sleepers. Change of towels were only available for stay beyond 5 nights, which wasn’t ideal for us in Feb as the towels wouldn’t fully dry.

Great location, decor and cleanliness. Easy access. Well equipped kitchen, large TV with access to various streaming channels.

Regular late night conversations between several people were perceived as a party. Probably because of the thin plasterboard walls. A few minor faults can be fixed and the apartment will be as good as new. Contact with the manager is average. He persistently answers in Spanish in an averagely hospitable manner.

Everything was perfect. The best stay I had in an apartments hotel. Very clean very stylish very spacious. The absolute best thing about this stay was the incredible location which a one minute walk to the gran via. And the instructions to check into the apartment by yourself were very easy. We will come back here for our next trip to Madrid. 10/10

The only thing is that the mattress were a little bit stiff but still had a great sleep. Also there is no elevator but we were on the first floor so there were only a few steps.

We had a great stay at Mante House in Madrid! The location was perfect, we walked everywhere. The building and apartment was very clean and felt secure and safe. The only things I took off points for were the lighting (the apartment felt a little dark despite all the lights being on) and the seat of the sofa was broken and hard to sit on in places. But these really felt like minor issues for an overall great trip!

Like most of the other comments mentioned, the location is great, but it is loud at night. Since this is communicated up front, it is an acceptable inconvenience. The Malasana district is fun, lively, and close to most things most folks want to do. We walked everywhere and when we didn't public transit was great.

We stayed on the second floor and this can be a challenge for some, especially if your hands are full. Once again, this is a prominent complaint made about this place, so if this is an issue for someone they should not stay here.
