The private room in the 3rd floor was quite comfy with A/C which is a must during August in Madrid. The nicer room on the 5th floor had amazing views as well! The location is exceptional, very close to Chueca metro station and walking distance of all the eateries and bars from chueca, malasana, centro, lavapies and latina. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was super helpful and friendly all the time, 24hs.

The ensuite bathroom in the 5th floor is only separated by a tinted glass wall, so not very private if you're travelling with friends or even with a partner as you can see them sitted in the toilet lol. Anyways, the room was fabulous!

I stayed at this hostel for the second time because firstly I loved the location, close to the city center and at the same time to my favourite Malasaña district. Secondly, it’s super comfy to live in the room for 4-6 people max surrounded by women. Thirdly, the room facilities are exactly what each woman needs: a toilet and shower, separate sink (it’s amazing! Because while smb is using a shower, you can always have an access to washing your hands, face) and a mirror (which very often doesn’t even exist in hostels, except the shared shower area. The staff is always friendly and ready to help and everything is super clean and well-treated!

The only negative moment was that my 2 absolutely new pairs of shoes were stolen! I even know by whom (hello Argentinian lady from bed 3, I hope the shoes will pinch your toes while walking, karma is gonna respond in some form for sure)! This moment doesn’t spoil my opinion about the hostel but if the administration keeps an eye on this girl (who happen to stay there often as far as I understood), it’ll be a safer place for others.

This is the perfect place for a cheap city trip with friends. The location is fantastic and very close to all of Madrid’s main attractions. Room is big enough and could use a private locker to safely store personal items.

The room was cleaned on a daily basis, however, it was unfortunately extremely smelly the very first day due to some roommate's shoes left inside. The bed was not the most confortable. Apparently the staff decided to switch bed numbers during my stay, which was a bit confusing for everyone. The hostel does not have a place to chill/relax or have a coffee.

The staff at check in were friendly and quite informative, even late at night when I came in. The room was quite clean, with a locker that was big enough to fit my suitcase! They provided shampoo and body soap. The bed was pretty comfortable, and there was functioning air conditioning which I was grateful for.

This seems to be common in Spain, but the sink was in the hostel dorm room itself, so when I went to brush my teeth late at night, I felt like I might have been disturbing others who were sleeping. However, I've noticed that a lot of places in Spain seem to be set up this way.

The staff were truly exceptional—Cesar and Alejandro went above and beyond to make the stay enjoyable. The location exceeded my expectations: it’s not only central but also very well connected to public transportation and key spots around the city. The hostel itself is spotless, the mattress was surprisingly comfortable, and overall, it offers a cozy and welcoming environment.

The bunk bed was extremely shaky and noisy—it moved a lot whenever I climbed up or when the person below me shifted or went to sleep. It would be great if the beds were secured to the wall, as my glasses even fell under the bed during the night due to the movement. The shower was also very loud, and since it's located inside the room, it became quite disruptive whenever someone used it. As for the toilet: it’s also inside the room, which wasn’t ideal for me. I could hear a lot and because the doors don’t reach the floor and there’s no ventilation, both noise and odors were often an issue.

The location was great! I usually stay at a different hostal when I’m going to Madrid, but this is even a better location. There was not much facilities other than a small area to sit down though 😞 everything else was good! And to be honest I was here during the black out and having this hostal in such a great location, helped me to find it easier.

Again, not many facilities to chill or just relax, there was only a small one. The toilets door also, I would prefer a whole door to close completely the toilet. This one was like half or 3 times the door.

Very nice hostel, one of the best ones I’ve stayed at so far, the price is cheap on weekdays and ok on weekends. It’s set up so well, the building is huge which is nice, tall ceilings, huge lockers, modern elevators, feels more than a hostel- incredibly well built. I’ll definitely return

1. Network is bad, can’t make phone calls inside a lot of building, but they can’t do much about that.. 2. Fridge is too small, everyone’s stuff squished together. 3. People are constantly stealing ur food, I feel like the tiny fridge doesn’t help as it gives an excuse to go through each bag cause they all get shuffled together every few minutes-however this happens everywhere. -An obvious (even not monitored ) camera would be nice to deter people. 4. No common area indoors aside from dining room, which technically closes at 11pm, luckily some of the more chill staff don’t close it until 2am which is MUCH more reasonable. 5. A 5 euro deposit for a plastic key card seems a little 2000’s, it’s a little inconvenient but oh well-

I recently stayed at room00 Chueca (Double room) and had an overall good experience. The location is fantastic – in the heart of Chueca, very close to everything, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were friendly and nice. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Overall, with pros and cons I would consider returning to that place again.

There were a few aspects that could be improved. I was surprised to find that some basic amenities like slippers were not provided in the room. The shower wasn’t comfortable. One of the biggest drawbacks for me was the air conditioning system. It's not directly controllable from the room, so it was very unpleasant. When I turned it on, it was too hot, but turning it off made the room too cold. This lack of temperature control was a bit frustrating, especially when trying to get the room to a comfortable level.

The hostel is very clean and comfy, the staff is friendly and very helpful. The beds were comfortable, there's a blackout curtain in the room so I slept comfortably even though I'm sensitive to the light. I tried an extra breakfast once, it was good for its price: a buffet type with bread, eggs, bacon and coffee. The location is perfect, and you can enter the hostel 24h with your access card.

The room was very open and we could easily move around, there were 2 bathrooms so more than enough for 12 people in the room. It was very quiet and calm plus the staff was very friendly. We also felt very safe since the girl at the door checked our key cards for the room when we came home at night and asked us about our room number.

The beds were a bit squeaky and the shower handle could be moveable instead of fixated. Sometimes there was no toilet paper. Furthermore the water pipe in the sink could be made in a different way than the button type (you push and it runs) so we could adapt the strength of the water current to our needs (for example less strong in the middle of the night because it was quite loud)
