Property was in a prime location, staff were very friendly (Sally is a superstar) and very responsive. The food was excellent and well priced. It was the 2nd cheapest hotel that was closest to the ski lifts. This heavily dictated our selection. It was the cheapest hotel with a pool for the kids. Ski hire down stairs was very helpful. Danny in ski hire did a great job. Rooms are also surprising very warm as they had underfloor heating.

The property itself is quite run down, looks like there was mould spots on the ceiling. The rooms weren’t serviced (I had to empty our bins, ask for more toilet paper and ask for towels to be taken) and the bunk beds would squeak terribly, causing us to wake if the children simply rolled over in their sleep. The pool was a little cold.

Reading the negative reviews made me nervous walking in however I didn’t have any issues and the place exceeded expectations completely! Staff were nice and helpful. The free breakfast was great, simple but just what you need - toast, cereals, fruit, even with a few milk varieties which was nice. The room was cozy and had a nice little view, very warm but not too warm like some reviews complained. The heated carpet was amazing. The shower had great hot water with good pressure. The bunks were a little squeaky but not too bad, mattress comfy. There’s only stairs however not too many, very manageable. There’s a drying room and even a in house board/ ski rental which I had no clue! There’s also a pool/ spa and games room which is cool! Not too far from the main village about 5 min walk which is very convenient with one of the ski lifts just outside the lodge. All in all the place was clean and cozy.

I was under the impression that there would be a communal kitchen area however it doesn’t state that anywhere and I completely made it up. There is a communal microwave which is nice however only Wished bowls and spoons were provided.

Loved the kids room and playing games on n64 Kids had fun at the Pool on the bottom floor Kids loved climbing the ladder to their beds above we love the food at the resturant was it was very nice food and taste was amazing Breakfast was nice like a buffet just help yourself muffins,toast and fruit, juice and water Hotel in village we seen amazing snow fall magical

Double bed only would rather a queen bed Bunk bed very sqeeky lol No soap,shampoo in room you have to go get it yourself. No tea and coffee in the room or kettle but they have a kitchen on 3rd floor for evreything you need, so anything you needed you have to go to 3rd floor make it there go to 4th floor to sit shared kitchen so you have to wait your turn Didnt like Stairs everywhere tiring when holding kids

The breakfast was great! And being located that close to the slopes was really nice! The staff where friendly & helpful!

It was a bit unfortunate that there wasn't a kettle or microwave in the room. The loud live music that started at 10pm each night did make it rather difficult to sleep!

Dinner was a little disappointing so much so that we decided to eat elsewhere on second night.pork was so dry it could not be chewed., pizza was very average Not convenient having to order drinks then meal from 2nd area

Breakfast was ok, the ski hire downstairs (Danny) was very helpful no problems in helping us out. All Staff were good and helpful, that we come across. Loved the communal kitchen level 3. Great location overall.

The smell of stale beer in the bar area. 400pm check-in when I'm paying a full day's price for accommodation. Lots of stairs. Pool was not that warm. Don't know if spa works or not.

We had a great stay at Alpine Retreat Hotel. Facility- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️clean and accessible Staff- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ accomodating and friendly Food- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Delicious. Good free continental Breakfast Price- ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ affordable

Perfect place for a holiday with family - may not be a 'luxury' but comfortable, clean and nice. Game Lounge is good for a 'lazy afternoon/ evening ' - you can play TT / board games - lots of kid's toys.... Breakfast ( Complimentary) was pretty simple - Bread toast , Tea , Coffee , Cereals ..... No Egg or Bacon..... Restaurant was standard - for Dinner only .... Make sure to order by 8pm - else you will miss ur chance.... Nice n family friendly Pool and Spa area. Drying room - Good to dry your ski gears or swimming suit .... Bar - Good cocktails - price is ok . Excellent Staffs - Danny and Danny were awesome to help - pick up your phone and call them.....

Time for a slight renovation - Carpet , Bathroom ..... May be better service with 'Full Time Staffs' - Once staff-shortage-due-to-covid will be a 'history'

we stayed 3 years ago and came from overseas so decided to stay their again as we made feel welcome. Hope to come again when Weare in Aus again

The place we had was Very Cozy, good view and spacious. There was a common area to play games and also a private area in the room living space for my friends and me to hang out, eat, talk and chill.

Early check-in and check-out would be lovely if possible. We were supposed to rent the ski and necessary clothing from below however, the guy came late, there was no staff to contact at the main counter and as a result, we went to another store to rent. Lastly, was the last day when we checked out, we had to wait nearly 2 hours for the transportation to bring us to our car. Wished there was a way the resort can communicate with them to have it prepared earlier. (Suggestion: Better breakfast would make the package even better)
