Could add some simple things to make the stay easier. Cups for tea etc are included but no dish soap in the rooms to clean the cups after use. Staff were accommodating and did provide this when we asked. A microwave would also be convenient especially when travelling with babies who need bottles heated. The cost of $130 to add a cot in the room was a surprise as most other accommodations include this in your stay without additional cost.

Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Location is very convenient with 10m away from the village free shuttle bus. Internet access across the mountain was unstable but Duck Inn WiFi was good enough for checking email. Breakfast was very convenient.

There is on lunch or casual dinner. We had to go back to the village for a quick bite. Restaurant only offers 2 or 3 courses meals.

Location wasn’t awful. It was easy enough walking to and from the village centre. I think it was 7 minute walk. The shuttle wasn’t reliable on the way into the village. The room was pretty small, but I wasn’t fazed because I never spend much time in my room when at the snow.

Everything else was great. Dry room, staff were lovely and accomodating, they have rental gear at reception. Also a great price for staying at the snow. I would stay here again.

The free continental breakfast was great for value as it was included in the room rate. The room was immaculate and had a balcony with great sunrise and moon sighting! Reasonably priced for the Easter long weekend.

The room was too small. We could barely find space to walk after we put our two hand carry bags on the floor. The bed only got one bedside table where we could not find spot to place our drinks and phone for the second person. Not enough power points. Silly layout with kettle kept inside the closet which caused the closet got very steamy. could not walk on one side of bed if the closet door left opened for boiling water and charging phones. The built in containers for the toiletries (body wash, shampoo and conditioners ) were all clotted up. We had to take the inside containers out and squeeze out the dried content which stuffed up the tips. But the shampoo and conditioner they supplied were of more than average quality. Late check in time (4pm) was not aware.

Prompt service, had an issue sleeping because of the noise and it was immediately rectified! Reception staff, specially Bianca, was quite nice and helpful. Good thing they had their own ski equipments for rentals, avoided the hassle of queues at the centre. Overall aura of the inn was pretty good, quite and cozy.

Had trouble sleeping because of the noise but staff did something immediately. Smelly odour coming out of the toilet. Would have been nice if the restaurant was open for dinner too.

Location and accessibility was great

The restorant at the accomadation had a very poor selection. What was on offer tasted really nice. Apart from the many the staff and facility were amazing

The cost performance was very good. They have a room where they can store your snowboard and skis. Also also they have a dry room you can leave you wet clothes.

It’s quite far from the centre of Buller. It’s better to have more information about village transportation when people check in.

Ski rental on site. Superb restaurant dinners. Lovely lounge for evening relax. Good facilities. Most staff very helpful. Would come again.

Temp control was random rm 201. Too hot at night. Some staff inexperienced, need Barista training. One person very sullen, maybe long day at work & would rather be skiing.....

The restaurant at the Duck Inn was excellent & the food was delicious. A great atmosphere too!

The drying room was quite warm enough especially a day on the slopes on rain & snow showers.

Right near a free shuttle bus stop for easy access to the village. Not far to walk to village. Restaurant for evening meal was delicious.

Breakfast was very basic with minimal options (stated as continental but only offered cereal toast and pancakes). Not at all satisfying when going skiing and considering cost of room.
