Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast spread was plentiful and varied, something for every palate. Tried different meals at the hotelbar / M-Lounge as well and can definitely recommend. Location was beautiful, lovely spot right by the Rhine river, perfect for an evening stroll. Though as a former local girl I'm obviously biased.

Room was standard, and while no faults with cleanliness, there was a musty odour of some kind. Not sure if it was the AC/ bad ventilation? maybe coming from the river but then we would've noticed it outside the room as well.. not very pleasant

The hotel is beautifully located! We travelled by car and with a dog. Not only was parking simple and easy but we also entered the room with a dedicated dog bet and treats waiting for us. The table was ideal to work at and the hotel restaurant (bellpepper) was simply awesome!

nothing really worthy of a mention here.. elevators can get crowded on Sunday when people depart or for breakfast and wait times are longer than usual.. nothing that wouldn't happen at any other hotel

Well equipped Gym. Wonderful breakfast with a glass of champagne. Close and cheap parking. Everything was above expectation at a great price. Great job Hyatt Regency Maintz. Compared to owners hosts who are mean spirited, the Hyatt Maintz could not do enough for us. Owner hosts disappoint when they won't respond to requests, eg an extra pillow, a fan, a bread knife, a comfortable chair etc. Owner hosts are inflexible and their beds are more often than not uncomfortable.

The breakfast was yummy but they need to enhance the Breakfast Varieties , the live music vibe at the main lounge was nice, but a genuine change of the sound system is must. the poor and bad sound system was cranky and hazy all night long that totally ruined the live music show . The microphone volume was too low , very hazy and does not appear to be working properly at all which destroyed the good music and vibes.

A very nice hotel which was very reasonably priced. The room was spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable with an excellent shower and a really comfy bed, plus great air conditioning, which was appreciated during this heatwave! We also really enjoyed using the spa and pool, which was free for hotel guests. The hotel is only is part built into a fortress which was fun, and the bar is in the old fortress walls. We had a great stay.

Mainz Hyatt was good! Jasmin, I hope I am correct, was the person who checked us in. She was cordial, informative, pleasant and totally AWESOME! We have been staying at a lot of hotels recently! But our welcome to Mainz Hyatt was the best. We recommend Mainz Hyatt without hesitation. Hopefully, everyone will have the Jasmin check in experience 😉

Room was excellent, with luxurious bathroom, spacious. Hotel is in the old town, very short stroll from everywhere we wanted to see. All staff super helpful and friendly.

The spa and pool area was nicely appointed. It is relatively small, three families filled the space, we chose not to go in as it was too small to be relaxing with such numbers.

Great location and friendly staff. The bar and restaurant were pretty good too. Room was very comfortable and spacious. The fitness center, swimming pool and SPA was free for hotel guests so that's a plus.

Bar staff was a bit slow and there was some unwelcome guests (quite big rats). This property is great but in good need of some maintenance. The jacuzzi was out of order for the whole stay!

Everything. All the staff were very helpful and very nice to talk to. The rooms were brilliant. Everything you could want. The bathroom was lovely. They had all the nice little touches. They have thought of everything. And the television was huge. It just felt like luxury for an excellent price.

One night wasn't enough.

Wow! Beautiful hotel and great location. Exceptional facilities. Breakfast buffet amazing, well worth the additional cost. Visiting this area after a 30 year absence. Quick walk to the old town area. Took an Uber to Wiesbaden. Both cities amazing architecture. The hotel's patio bar/ lounge had great views of the river as well as a nice walking path.
