We enjoyed the quiet, clean, and comfortable room with regular cleaning service, and definitely would recommend this hotel for proximity to the Mainz old town and historic sights (it is on the hill above, just a couple of blocks from a fabulous view toward the river and stairs into the older neighborhoods) and lovely cafés, as well as to the main (Hbf) station for regional and intercity express trains. It was perfect for our stay!

The staff were very courteous and helpful.

There is a problem with the shower. The water turns from scalding hot to cool to scalding hot again by itself. We both experienced this each day while showering. One day while rinsing my hair I feel my scalp was burned. I also gave a poor rating to the bed because the pillow was very uncomfortable. The bed itself was fine.

The breakfast room.seems to be too small ,especially on such days as the New Year day,, where most people want to take breakfast before they leave All.almost at the same time around 10am

The hotel and room were fine. Breakfast I found to be pricey at €24. I was able to go to other restaurants for a fine evening meal for less than the price of breakfast. The juice leaves something to be desired as well. The bottle of water that was left in the room each day was very much appreciated.

very nice, but did not take breakfast (too expensive, you should add the option of cheap/ light breakfast for people that don't want to eat eggs/sausages/dinosaurs at breakfast

Nice hotel with reasonable distance from the centre. Very nice brewery with nice selection of the brewery´s own beer is just a few steps from the hotel.

More than 20 EUR for breakfast seems to be too much compared to the selection and quality of provided food.

Nice location for our needs.

I didn’t like that the cleaning staff came into the room twice while we were still sleeping, wanting to clean. It could be we missed a cue on what we are suppose to do, to let them know but check out time was at 12 and we had not checked out yet.

Booked with my wife and kids (6 and 4) and it was great. Staff were super helpful and kind. Went above and beyond to help us out. Pool and sauna were excellent- clean and newly renovated. Close by the old city and the train station but in a very quiet area. Breakfast was good as well. Solid selection - kids were free which was great. We had a family room which was perfect.

I loved the size of the room. The best part about my stay definitely had to be the customer service I received from The Receptionist Maria. She was delightful, she always greeted everyone with a smile and had such a wonderful interaction. I worked in hospitality for 25 years and in my opinion, Maria is the Standard every employer seeks in an employee. Good Job Maria.. You are 5 Stars.

The price of the room. I expected more bang for the buck. I stayed in the Executive Suite and by name I expected to be wowed. The room has been designed more for the early 80's. It was a nice sized room but looked very old fashioned. .

We had a perfect family room, very good value for money!

The prize for Parking 24€/d is to high. A breakfast at 24€ pp to expensive.
