Location was very convenient to shopping. We visited Mainz for the Christmas Market and it was only a minite walk away. We wish we had neen able to spend more time here. The check in was super easy... like "here is your key." Owner was more that helpful as we needed a cab to the train station and one was there within minutes. It does have a lift!

This is not a conventional hotel. It seems a little odd when checking in as it is an offshoot of the restaurant, but it has a separate entrance, very clean and very conveniently located. Overall very satisfied.

We were upgraded to a room with good air flow during the 40 degree heat wave. The manager arranged for a forgotten item to be forwarded to our next destination. This hotel is above a lovely wine stub/garden in a wonderful historic area. I would gladly stay again. And the snack breakfast is a good value

We both loved this quaint little hotel tucked down a cute side street in a central part of Mainz. The hotel was small and characteristic of the area, full of charm. The room was big enough and the beds and pillows were good. No problems in sleeping. The central location was a bonus - was walkable to so many things. We had the hotel's breakfast buffet one morning. Lots of yummy things to choose from and even wine on the offering if you so desired. Highly recommended.

Great location and friendly welcoming staff. Surprisingly quiet given its central location. A nice balcony for use of all guests. Easy walk to Mainz Romisches Theater train station.

The room was very hot (end May) and the small fan didn’t really help. A kettle, small fridge and safe would be useful additions to the room.

Incredible property. Ground floor character exceptional. Lift tucked away discreetly. Bedrooms have all modern comforts, great shower, comfortable bed , good quality towels and a charging station If having dinner, which is very good, book as it’s clearly a local favourite Breakfast very good continental, staff very accommodating and clearly love the property. It’s right at the old town

Location was convenient to marktplatz and touristic sites. The room and bed were comfortable. The staff was helpful and assisted us quickly when we thought we locked ourselves out of the room.

With the windows open sound carried from the marktplatz. Not much the hotel could do about the noise but it did not persist late into the night.

Very centrally located hotel at only a few minutes walk from Mainz city centre. Very friendly staff and good breakfast options as well. Very comfortable beds as well.

Keep in mind there are 2 doors (not a complaint but good to know). The noise of the street can ben an issue as well.

Perfectly located hotel right in the old town. Super friendly and helpful staff. The room was exceptionally clean. The restaurant attached to the hotel served fabulous food. There is a courtyard garden and 1st floor balcony that overlooks the Catherdral spires. We couldn't fault our stay and would happily stop here again.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike. There truly were no negative points.

We loved the location, the restaurant, and honestly there wasn’t anything bad about it. This is a very cute property and if you are able to stay at it, I would highly recommend you do.

The check in time is truly three but they were able to accommodate us to get in a little earlier.

Great location, small friendly hotel in old town. Our room had fantastic view - the Dome. It was our second stay and won’t be our last. Nice breakfast had all we needed.

They only give you 1 set of keys and it complicates the logistics as the main entrance is locked most of the time and you have to have a key to go from restaurant side to hotel. Wifi signal was sometimes weak.
