Parking, location, staff, room, bed & linens - thanks for the extra pillows - a rarity in Europe, we usually have to beg for them ; )

Room appeared to be set up for a single visitor as there was only one bath towel in the bathroom, the other was under a pillow in the closet, there was also a wine(?) glass missing. Also, all the info we read regularly stated the breakfast service times but never mentioned that the breakfast was NOT included in the price - even an employee told us that this is common (so perhaps you need to clarify that in the advertising to include Booking.com).

Decent business hotel, clean and very well located - right behind the central station, not far from the city center or the university campus. From the central station, take the north exist (not the main one) and you will arrive at the hotel within 2 mins. Although rooms face major roads, the windows are high quality so there is no noise coming through.

They would require early check-in fee even if they have ready rooms in the morning (this is fair, but more common for low-cost accommodations). It is also evident that they encourage direct bookings (e.g., public transport tickets are given only to guests who are members of their loyalty program). Personal opinion - breakfast is overpriced. There are decent bakeries in the central station.

Very conveniently lo located to our car rental return company(Sixt) literally right next door. Kiosk for self check in was very convenient and worked well. Room was very basic but exactly as expected and was clean. A little noisy right on the busy street but with windows closed and drapes pulled it wasn’t bad - slept just fine. And air conditioning worked very well.

We love this hotel because is near the train station. Is a really big room with all the amenities. The city is amazing. Is little but is a really nice city. Walk across the city is really nice in the evening.

That the window dont have blind for the sun. Maybe i change this part of the window.. And we saw that have only one person attending in the nigth then is more slow the attention.

Perfect location close to the railway station. I could go downtown withing few minutes of walking. Everything was near-by and met my needs.

As I like to sleep with open windows the university hospital seems to be getting medical flights in during the night as well as the cargo train traffic that is next to the hotel.

Great price/quality. Perfect for a one night stay. We didn't get breakfast so I can't comment on that, but the room was comfy and clean. The location is very convenient, you can easily walk to the centre or the station. The staff was very nice as well.

I have no negative comments.

1) Staff Particularly Ms.Lawra was very good/attentive and cooperative and appriciate her. Other people could not meet and hence can not provide the opinion. 2) Room was good and clean.

Location next to train station was very convenient. It was good value for money. Room was spacious and had everything I would have asked for.

More street noise than I might have expected, mostly from the tram running until late and from early in the morning.

A great hotel, so close to the train station , just 2-3 minutes. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed and the pillows really comfortable for a good rest. A good working air-condition, so important, since Mainz had high temperatures those days. Also the mini bar was extremely useful . Both of them very essential. The bathroom had plenty of space to leave your personal toiletries .The window opens for fresh air and despite the noisy street, when it is closed you hear absolutely no noise. Also a tram/bus stop right in front of the hotel, for easy access to the city center. Walking distance to city center 10-15 minutes. The staff always polite and helpfull. All in all, a good stay, especially if you need to use the train in daily base.

Since in front of the hotel there is a big pavement and big ashtrays already exist, it would be nice to put a bench -or two, so the guests do not have to stand - like they are punished - while they smoke. No place to leave your coffee or juice . Very inconvinient. Not only for smokers but for any guest. It would be nice for the facade of the hotel too.

The hotel is very well located, only a few minutes walk from Mainz train station (Hbf). Be sure to take the West exit, which is the closest. The hotel is also just in front a bus/tram stop that allow you to get to the university in under 10 minutes. I was there for a conference and had to stay in my room for almost the whole trip. The room was comfortable enough to do so and Internet good enough to have long Zoom conference calls without issue. The breakfast buffet was also very convenient to save time, and had a wide selection.

Though convenient, the breakfast buffet was a bit pricey, especially given my home currency.
