Bas at reception and your colleague from El Salvador at the breakfast buffet stood out with their friendliness and customer service. Loved the chia apple pudding at breakfast and that it was not too crowded at the breakfast buffet. The toiletries and hair dryer were great, especially for business travellers with long hair, a good hair dryer and hair conditioner make a huge difference in comfort.

One small negative, you have to go upstairs to enter from the lobby, and there is just one small elevator. However, since it is a historic property, not much can be done here, as the integrity of the building must be maintained. Overall a great stay!

breakfast was good Day shift staff at front desk was especially great. Always had a smile Had a great fan brought up, when we said it was hot breakfast room staff very nice it had a lift restaurants near by.

bed had not been cleaned under in some time (I had something fall under and to crawl around to get it back.) Train station area is rather dirty (Not hotel's fault)

Great location, literally seconds from the train station! Staff was very lovely and professional. My room was giving onto the courtyard and was extremely quiet.

The room and bed was clean but the room was slightly dusty all over. But overall, great room. The wifi didn’t let me connect with my bonvoy account so I couldn’t get good internet.

Right across the street from train station in Mainz and bus depots. Wonderful room…felt very cozy. I had a little balcony. I liked the look of the common room and restaurant downstairs but didn’t have time to use them. Bathroom was great..lots of amenities and a good shower with lots of hot water. Very gracious staff that was quite helpful with maps and bus schedules.

Not close to the Dom and old town area.

they charged 30€ extra for wifi use for 2 nights this was first time any hotel charged for wifi which is free on all hotels housekeeping was not done daily

Close to train station. Very nice people especially kitchen staff, worth mentioning Osiris and The tall bearded chef who made great omlette and pastries.

No closet and no place to put your clothes.

The location was absolute perfection. The quickest walk from the train station made for the easiest arrival and departure. The bed was absolutely incredible - the best one we slept in in Europe! The bathroom was so clean and the shower was wonderful. The staff could not have been more lovely and kind. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and it's so easy to get to and from the airport by train.

Perfect place to stay in Mainz if you are traveling. The hotel is opposite the train station, the restaurant is beautiful and the breakfast was really rich. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very nice and comfortable hotel, the service staff is great and very friendly, also very polite. Good breakfast and working air conditioning. Osiris at breakfast service is really great!

Their internet is terrible, it has problems connecting and it's very slow. The area outside the hotel is unsafe at night.

Location next to Hauptbahnhof is very convenient. Room has a good setup, although a bit small. Restaurant was surprisingly good with excellent and friendly service from Maximilian.

Main entrance is really inconvenient with big suitcases. Room is a bit small. Shower door leaking creating puddles on the floor. Which idiot designed the toilet flush button behind the seat cover?
