I really enjoyed how quiet the room was and that it was free of heavy fragrances (due to my allergies). Folks at the front desk were welcoming and accommodated my inability to speak German. The bed was super comfortable so I slept great! Location was also excellent as I like to see everything I can by just walking around and not having to use public transportation. That said, I did take the train and it was a comfortable walk to the station.

The restaurant wasn't as friendly and the food options not as good as I'd hoped, but to be fair, I am picky on food quality and options (again, given allergies).

I loved the comfort that the facility provides! We stayed in a 4 bunk room. Kinda tight for a family of 3 however, we came to Explore, not to sit around in our room. Heated floors in shower. Excellent. Breakfast was delicious. Satisfying. And so many choices! Shower and toilet separate areas which allowed ease of showering without hogging up the bathroom. And allowed privacy.

Little things….for this modern style hotel, I feel like there should have been a built in USB charger. Hot coffee and tea would have been a nice extra to have available in day. A mini fridge would be nice too. The PLUSES outweigh any of these little things.

The hotel is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood by the river. It's within walking distance of the Old Town and the main train station. The rooms are clean and well-equipped for stays of a few days. The breakfast is very decent. The staff are friendly and helpful.

I have a back problem, and the mattress didn't give good support. A secure internet connection would be preferable. You can only close the toilet door from the inside if you squeeze up between the toilet bowl and the wall. This may be a problem if you're sharing your room with someone else.

The breakfast was excellent! Special thanks to Verra, who is incredibly kind! The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a bit too flat. My room was very quiet. The curtains were thick enough to block out the light. The hotel staff were all very friendly. The room was clean. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The hotel's location was convenient, close to local attractions. Overall, I felt the stay was good value for the price. I will definitely come back

Since this hotel is new, everything is well thought and efficient. The isolation is perfect (no noise from outside or from neighbors). The bathroom space is well organized, and the shower was functioning perfectly. The breakfast buffet presented a reasonably good choice, which left me always satisfied (I stayed there for four nights). The dining room is quite large, allowing enough space between the tables.

The hotel is a little far from the city centre (around 20 min. walk) but this is a rather minor inconvenient.

New, modern and everything in our room worked. Comfortable bed and nice linen. Spotlessly clean. Close to excellent bus service into the Old Town or Railway Station. Included breakfast was well presented and the staff were friendly and kept buffet replenished. Overall all members of staff we met were excellent.

There was a major incident involving police in the hotel during our stay. The young staff both from restaurant and reception were lovely and did their best to be helpful but we were disappointed after being evacuated from breakfast in the restaurant and asked to leave the site with no access to our room till late afternoon that the senior management of H2 group failed in any way to acknowledge the inconvenience to their guests. The lift was out of service on our return, we were on 5th floor and carried our own bags down stairs next morning too. We realise that sometimes things happen out of your control and we don’t want anything more than some acknowledgment from them. We just hope they treated their young staff better than their guests.

Nice modern hotel with most things that you would expect including a large breakfast/dining room. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice including continental and cooked food. All the reception staff spoke very good English. The hotel is situated in a nice, safe area on the edge of the river.

Quite a distance from the city centre, maybe 25/30 minutes walk. We had a room for 4 adults, we stayed for 4 nights and our room wasn't cleaned until the 3rd evening. Our rubbish bin was overflowing and our bathroom towels needed changing. Water temperature in the bathroom wash basin was never more than 'warm' and only slightly hotter in the shower.

Super nice hotel. The room was nice and clean and had a modern touch. The Staff was super friendly and the breakfast bar was great with a lot of choices. Location wise it was very nice, and is within walking distance of many nice places. For my fellow tall people - then the bed is a little on the short side - but can me accommodated by laying diagonally. The showerhead accommodates up to 6'7" (201cm). I enjoyed my stay and have added this hotel to my preferred list. I stayed for 2 nights

Great location, is about 30 mins walk to the old town but was a lovely walk along the waterside. Loved Mainz had a really nice vibe and it just felt a really safe area. We had the secure underground parking. Check in was quick and smooth staff were lovely. The room had a little doggy welcome pack of a bed, blanket, bowls, food and treats for our pooch which was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was lovely. Myself and the teenagers loved the quirky bunk beds.

We are quite a tall family, my husband struggled on the bunk bed as he is also well built as well as tall but all in all thought it was a great place

Booking.com messed up the names on the information to the hotel! Sent info to me in my name but used my partner name to the hotel. Family arrived two days before me and booked in fine but then when I arrived they couldn't find my name on system. Very stressful morning as looked like we would be recorded as no show, pay for accommodation but as hotel full, actually need to find alternative hotel. H2 Staff very good and eventually worked out with us the Booking.com boorach. Lesson Booking direct with hotel gives more flexibility.
