Very boutique style hotel. One of the best on Vieques. Room was comfortable. Balcony was good. Rooftop terrace was a great place to be. Has a hot tub!! Staff were incredibly helpful and available. Good for beach chairs and towels. Great location for amazing beaches an the bioluminescent tour

The rooms are quite small. If you choose to hang your clothes up, you hide the main mirror!! If you like being watched in the shower by your partner, then this is the place for you!. Restaurant and bar are not open on a Wednesday or Thursday which was annoying, but other local establishments are available.

This hotel is one of best hotels that you can find on the Vieques Island. Within the in-advance booking, it only costs us less than $100 per person to live here, which is quite worthy compared to others. The location is the biggest reason that we made this decision, it's close to most of the attractions and the most important thing, the Biobay pickup location is just a few steps away. (Trust me, you won't want to walk a long way after getting back from kayak and getting all wet) The restaurant's food on the first floor is also beyond our expectation, the food quality is great besides the waiting time.

Everything else is great about the hotel besides the noise. If you're a person with light sleep, I won't recommend you to stay here, and here's the reason: 1. There's a night bar a few feets away from the hotel, and it plays LOUD MUSIC until midnight, so you basically can't fall into sleep before 1 am. 2. Since the hotel is a GREEN HOTEL, it has several chicks nearby, and it will start to cluck at about 7 am in the morning. So if you are easy to wake up, you won't be able to sleep over 6 hours. Other that that, I will recommend this hotel.

Comfortable bed. Good bed linen. Room was very clean and well kitted out. Reception staff are outstanding as well as the staff in the restaurant La Placito. We had a superb meal there. Love the rooftop bar, we had pre dinner drinks there every night.

Great room that provided hanging space rather than a wardrobe which was absolutely fine but the full length mirror is situated behind the hanging clothes which was rather odd. Certainly not a deal breaker!

Beautiful rooftop where we enjoyed the complimentary morning coffee. Comfy bed.

It would be nice if the staff at the restaurant (hostess) was more accommodating to the guests. We were told there was no room because we didn’t make a reservation. We asked for the bar we weee repeated that it was really busy. My daughter looked over and saw someone paying and we got the table 5 minutes after. The hostess could have looked to see but she just wanted to turn us away.

This is such a stylish hotel! And the location is unbeatable if you are choosing not to rent a car. I've been to Vieques many times and the strip where El Blok is located has good restaurants & nightlife. Plus, its close to the best beaches on the island and some good tour operators. Highly recommend it!

Honestly, it's pretty lovely and the staff is so nice. Only thing is I'd stay here more if it had a pool -- though I've heard there's a hot tub on the rooftop, but have yet to check it out.

The hotel is conveniently located to the beach and the village of Esperanza. The facilities are great made even better since the hotel is adults only. The rooms are small but nicely appointed. We loved having a balcony to look into the ocean.

I will never understand why countries that are warm have heavy comforters on the bed. A light blanket would have been so much better.

Room was clean. All the employees were very nice and always greeted me.They would try to assist in everything possible. Close to the beach. Close to other restaurants.

Management needs to provide a safe parking lot with cameras. The restaurant should provide an easy way to break down the bill when there is a group of people at the table.

Breakfast and dinner were amazing at the hotel with a lot of culinary options. Dinner server was very friendly and knowledgeable on the menu and drinks. Hotel looked very well mantained but the only negative was we could hear a bit of noise un the night time. Staff was super friendly and accommodating to all our needs, we will be back soon.

A little noise at night could be heard from the street but I know they have no control over that.

The ambiance, architecture, staff, cleanliness, and location are excellent. Beds are super comfy. The rooftop is very nice, although we wish the bar was open and it was closed. Nice coffee bar available in the morning, access to water & ice, they offer beach towels and chairs for guests. They gave us a room that was empty before check-in time, which was great; THANK YOU! They also communicate via text & answer quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

daily breakfast wasn't available at the hotel. The rooms were really cold, which is not a big deal for us because we can regulate the temp., but they could leave them a bit warmer at least around 70-72 F to save some energy & minimize their carbon emissions.

Beautifully designed hotel with comfortable rooms and very friendly staff. A great location and fun atmosphere. Quiet at night and full of life during the day.

Overall, El Blok is a 10 out of 10 experience, but if I was forced to make a complaint, I'd say I wish there was more food available for breakfast. Otherwise, everything was wonderful.
