We had a wonderful few days staying at Muni Residences with Liy and his family. The room we had was really spacious, clean and tidy with the most comfiest beds!! Upon check in we had some snacks and treats for the boys which was a lovely touch. Liy is so accommodating and during our stay he brought us homemade desserts which were tasty and even offered to take us into the town centre a few times. Thank you so much Liy and I highly recommend booking Muni Residences. We had three children and really felt welcome here! 🧡

Everything was so good! The hotel doesn’t have a pool but that isn’t the fault of the owners.

The room was super clean & spacious. I had the room right under the roof so the aircon was struggling with the heat but there was a fan provided. The hosts are so lovely, they help with everything and even shared a home made dessert. They are the absolute best thing about this accommodation. Also they got me in contact with a tuktuk driver who turned out to be an amazing day guide to explore Battambang. Had a great stay!

If I can give one tip: especially for the room underneath the roof, maybe allow the aircon to stay on without being in the room. The room heats up really quickly again after leaving and takes a long time to cool down even just a little.

Room was clean & spacious. We were given a free drink & watermelon on arrival. Staff were friendly & helped us book a tuk tuk tour.

There is a loud alarm sound that happens every morning at 7am - this isn’t anything to do with the hotel, however this woke us up each morning. The hotel had a power cut one night, however the staff were very apologetic & got it working fairly quickly. On the morning we were leaving there was no running water so we couldn’t take a shower or flush the toilet - again the hotel were very apologetic & the owner gave us a lift to the bus station & bought us breakfast.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Big thank you to the Muni family who couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful.The room looks just like the pictures, it was very clean, had great lighting and the beds/pillows were by far the comfiest we've stayed on whilst in south east asia! We tried some traditional Cambodian desserts they'd made which were lovely. They also arranged transport for us with an amazing, friendly local Cambodian driver named Fie, who we couldn't praise enough! Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Battambang.

Everything about Muni is just fantastic - from the welcome refreshments on arrival, all of the staff & family are really friendly and our room was magnificent too. Lay cannot do enough to make your stay as perfect as possible - he recommends places to eat, tuk tuk drivers for tours and anything else you can think of! Our room was spacious, absolutely spotlessly clean and choice of pillows, coffee & tea making facilities, air purifier and incense burner with essential oils!! I really can’t praise the Muni Residence enough! We did two tuk tuk tours - one with Mr Buntah and one with Mr Kymry and both were excellent, polite, professional and great safe drivers. We received daily cake from Lay and his family, which made you feel at home and very welcome. I can’t recommend Muni Residence enough - it is way better than 5 star hotels we’ve stayed at- where else do you get that level of personal touch, cake, cleanliness and purified water on tap - all included in the price!! My wife also had a spa treatment, which she thoroughly enjoyed and thought was great value for money. We left feeling like part of Lay’s family and this would be the only place we’d stay on our next visit to Battambang.

The rooms are very spacious and very clean! And the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is spotless and drainage was not an issue whatsoever. The staff and owner here are very friendly and super helpful! From booking tuk tuks, great restaurants recommendations, and they also offer a spa treatment which I would highly recommend! My other half and I did on of the Couples package and it was very relaxing! The owner Lay was kind enough to make us some dessert and a breakfast with fruits from his own garden. if I could rate this higher than a 10 I definitely would. Best place to stay in Battambang without a doubt! they also offer laundry service which is always a plus.

We LOVED our stay at Muni! The family that runs the hotel is so welcoming and friendly. They always greeted us when we came home, gave us homemade desserts and made sure we had the best possible stay. The room was huuuuge, clean and very cosy. It had cold water that you could refill for free downstairs and some complimentary snacks. The owners also organised a bus ticket and a tuk tuk to the station, which was very nice! Location might be a bit outside of the 'main area' but you can easily get a tuk tuk or even walk the 10-15 minutes. I would definitely recommend staying here and will come back if we are ever in Battambang again!

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse! Our hosts were warm hearted, gracious and attentive to all our needs. The room was one of the best that we have stayed at, in Cambodia. Comfortable beds, spacious room and many treats to have with tea or coffee. The location is excellent and we had great recommendations for places to eat. Our host was happy to organise transport options and provide a tuk tuk if needed. A lovely touch were the home cooked deserts and cooked rice cakes that were offered to us each day. We appreciated it. We would highly recommend this residence.

Fantastic place, superfriendly hosts. You feel so welcome from the moment you arrive.They make sure you have everything you need and even came with a homemade dessert to try one evening. The bed/matras/pillow is so comfy! The room is amazing! It is run by a brother and sister and has been open for a couple of months only. Also try the Spa, excellent price/Quality. I would absolutely recommend this place!

Nothing, everything was perfect. The suite (we had booked 2 beds, we are two friends travelling), is on the top floor (about three high), so if you have problems with steps this might be a downside.

We loved our stay at Muni. We did have high expectations after reading all the other reviews and we were not disappointed! From the minute we stepped off the bus from Phnom Penh there was a tuk run diver to pick us up and take us to Muni. We were given a lovely welcome and offered cold drinks and a homemade dessert before being shown to our room. Our room was perfect! Huge, spotlessly clean, comfortable and with anything and everything you could possibly think of - complimentary snacks, a diffuser, fabulous toiletries., slippers to wear. We could easily have been in a 5 star hotel. The attention to detail was amazing! Muni is a family run business and every interaction with a family member was extremely positive. They helped us with a couple of days of tours so that we could see the sights in the surrounding area. Our tuk tuk driver was Rich and he was amazing He did his best to ensure we had a great experience and learnt about the places he was taking us. If you are in Battambang be sure to do the old Bamboo Train! The owner of the hotel, Ly, kindly organised our boat tickets to Suem Reap and actually took us to the boat station, some 30 minutes outside Battambang ,at 6.30 in the morning and brought us food for our journey! Amazing service and customer care. Thank you to all at Muni for making our stay in Battambang so memorable!

Just a note really - the guest rooms are up several flights of stairs, which could be an issue if you have mobility problems.
