The hotel was being renovated and looked anything but inviting from the exterior. The interior was quite nice although a bit dated. The rooms and common areas inside the hotel were very clean. The exterior grounds were a bit messy but I think the construction/renovation is the cause of that. There were huge limbs that were blocking several parking spaces in the back and somewhat limiting the area to walk your dog. I would recommend placing doggy poop bag stations in the back area as some people can’t be bothered to bring along a plastic bag. Other than that it was a pleasant stay. We are in the on-site restaurant and it was quite good. Millie was our server and she was an absolute DOLL ! The included breakfast the next morning was appreciated. It was hot, scrambled eggs, breakfast, sausage, grits, and assortment of bread, bakery goods, cereals, waffles and fruit as well as juice and some really great coffee!

I stayed in one of their newly remodeled rooms, which are very clean and spacious without carpeting. The bathroom and the towels in the bed everything was really nice including a refrigerator and a microwave. They have coffee available all day that is decent and their breakfast is excellent. Pool was very nice including towels to use. Front desk staff was especially nice and helpful.

They could add some hangers in a place to hang clothes. It also would be nice if they fix the umbrellas by the pool.

The front desk check in staff was very kind and accomodating when we explained it would be difficult for us to carry our luggage to the second floor room they had assigned to us. So she gave us a first floor room. The cleaning staff was amazing and a gentleman helped us so kindly when we arrived and were bringing in our luggage. He helped my husband get the luggage carrier to our room and got us another luggage holder for our room. He went out of his way to be helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room and hotel was exceptionally clean. They replaced our used towels daily and emptied our trash as well. We stayed 3 nights. The last day before we left they came in and changed the bed and cleaned. We haven't had service like this since before Covid. Also we haven't experienced customer service like this anywhere..we were so impressed with all the staff.

I was surprised that this hotel didn't have an elevator.

Super clean. I felt very safe walking to my car alone. Fair buffet breakfast with waffle maker, eggs, sausage and grits. Attendant was on the ball. From our room we didn’t hear other people’s TVs or smell any tobacco. Temperature control was great, beds super comfy even though they feel like they may be too soft when you sit on one. It’s sleeps wonderful! The whole place smelled good too- not like disinfectant bug spray at most places.

Our room didn’t have a remote and the property was booked so one couldn’t be taken from another room, but someone had checked out and we got theirs. I feel it would be better to have extras in storage. There was a huge fight/disagreement or something between 9-9:30 that was both VERY loud and I was afraid to open our door to go out to the car.

Quick friendly Checkin , no hassles had the room within minutes of arrival , very nice very clean spacious rooms, whole hotel looked clean and everything worked as it should plenty of parking, surprisingly quiet given vicinity to highway .Best feature were exceptionally comfortable beds , it’s subjective but they were in my view excellent slept well which is rare indeed , great breakfast more than enough to get the day going , we had a great experience and were well rested and after many hours on the road .

Nothing to complain about..Good hotel.

My husband was impressed with the breakfast. He brought me some and it was good. In room coffee good, coffee machine in lobby with creamer was nice. No smoke smells was great.The desk clerk was super, the room was clean (thanks Carmen!)and provided everything we needed. The only problem was the electric outlet in the lamp didn't work and since we have 2 cpap machines we need 2 outlets.

When we called the desk and asked to borrow an extension cord since one nightstand outlet didn't work, the clerk said she couldn't help us. I don't think it was the one who checked us in because she was soooo nice. Thank you for taking pets! PS I was confused with my email confirmations. One said pet friendly and one said no pets allowed and there was a $200 fee if you bring one in.

We stopped to stay the night on our way back from Charleston, South Carolina. The hotel truly did exceed my expectations being that it only had two stars. The room was huge and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. At the restaurant, I had special request for dinner and the server went above and beyond and was so nice and helpful and I really appreciated it. I got the food to go, took it to the room and it was very good. I was very impressed with how clean everything was and how good the place smelled.

The person at the front desk could have been a little less aloof. I needed some assistance and have some questions and she was very short with her answers and didn’t seem to want to be bothered.

It was right off I-77. There was a small restaurant and bar on site so you didn't have to go out, if you didn't want to and the food was very good and inexpensive. Our server, Millie was a gem. Breakfast was included and it was plentiful with a large variety of everything that you would want in condiments. They also had a 24 hour coffee and tea machine with a variety of settings like bold to mild.

There was nothing that I didn't like.

We always stay here as a half way point to traveling to Hilton Head. Convenient to highway and close to stores and gas stations

This didn’t happen to us but a woman checking in in front of us was turned away because all the pet friendly rooms were taken. She claimed she booked on line and said she was traveling with a pet. The desk attendant declined her reservations. It was already pretty late and I think the desk attendants could have made some sort of accommodation. We always normally stay here with our pet but was not with a pet this time. One of the reasons we choose this hotel

The amazing smell when you walked in! The room was very clean and the staff was amazing!! The breakfast buffet was so good. I would love to return in the summer to check out their outdoor pool.

If I have any complaints it would be the bed size. My husband is 5'10 and I am 5'2. They only have full size beds. I think they should upgrade to a few two queen size beds in a few rooms. We could have slept in a king room, but that would have put our son on the couch.
